“Gwen was great taking care of our kitties! Our cat Zoya is usually very scared of meeting new people, only a few rovers have earned her trust through continuous visits and work, but with Gwen Zoya was out there to greet her from day 1, we were blown away. Peace of mind. We are very happy we chose her, she has great communication (mine was terrible I apologize!) Very helpful, kind and respectful, plus she had other cute little details that were very heart-warming and let you know what kind of person she is. 100% recommended. Will definitely book again.”

About: I’ve been walking my two dogs around downtown for more than 5 years—we know all the best spots! I nursed one of my dogs during surgical recovery and both are technically geriatric at this point, so I have experience with dogs of nearly all ages. Would love to get to know your fur babies! I work remotely downtown so my schedule is fairly flexible. Some days I have no meetings at all! Even when I do, they are few and far between. I generally tend to stay local to Downtown when I’m not working too. Plenty of walks and playtime, always making sure to keep an eye on them so they stay out of trouble. My dogs love to snuggle so we often curl up on the couch with a good show or movie!
“Caitlyn did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away. She was very kind with her, and left detailed updates and pictures each day. I would definitely book her again!”

“I have a feral cat and her schedule can be unpredictable especially during the very hot or cold weather months. Allie was very flexible with our scheduling and allowed me to make a few changes days before I was leaving town. Allie did a fantastic job feeding, changing the water even when the water bowl was completely frozen, and caring for Little Kitty while I was gone. She also keeps you well informed of her visits, sends pictures, and gives updates for how everything is going. I highly recommend Allie and her services.”

About: I have volunteered at animal shelters and participated in pet care since I was 12 years old. I can play, walk, bathe, feed, etc all animals. I am used to both high and low energy animals. I am a medical student who is on summer break with lots of free time! I love to be outside and interact with animals, allowing me to fill up my time doing what I love! At my family’s home, I currently have a golden doodle who is house trained. I take her on many walks, play with her throughout the day, and love to give her lots of belly rubs. I ensure she is well taken care for by feeding her twice a day, let her outside frequently, bath her once a week, and do everything in my power to ensure her comfort. I also have a female calico cat with whom I play, cuddle, and take on walks.
“I was so thrilled that Victoria was able to check in on Sapphire while we went out of town. She sent us great pictures and even brought in a large package that had been delivered while we were gone. I highly recommend her to anyone with dog sitting needs.”

“Mary took great care of our golden retriever Beau! She took him on a long walk and spoiled him while we were gone for the day! She sent pictures and updates and we will definitely book with her again in the future! Thank you Mary!”

“Madison checked on our cats for a week and a half while we were out of town. She sent very helpful updates and did a great job looking after them!”

“Super responsive, follows all instructions, does meet and greets, addresses any concerns and tailors care to dog’s needs. Super flexible as well. Thank you for taking care of Doug!”

About: I’m currently a graduate student at Ohio State, who would love to have a pup of my own one day once I have a more free time!! With summer in full swing, I have a lot more time on my hands. One of my favorite things to do is go on walks and listen to music and I’d love to have your furry friend(s) join me 🐾🩵 I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family in the summers the last 5 years, with breeds as large as English pointers to as small as Yorkshire terriers. I want to make sure your fur baby feels all the love and keep their schedule as normal as possible 💓 I’m currently on Summer break and won’t start class until beginning of September so I have a very flexible schedule as of now! When school starts back up I’m typically available Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings until 9:30 & most of Saturday and Sundays! Your fur baby’s comfort and routine always come first. I don’t have any pets of my own, so if your pet gets anxious around other animals, so they’ll have my full attention with no other distractions! I was raised to leave something cleaner than I found it, so I’ll follow any rules you set and leave things just as I found them.
“Julia was punctual, communicative, and great with our dog, especially when he was spooked by fireworks outside and needed extra encouragement to go out! We’d absolutely book her again in the future. Thanks, Julia!”

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and attentive dog walker who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, exercised, and happy. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a long walk to burn off energy, or just some extra attention during the day, I’m here to help. I’m free before 7:00am and after 5:30pm most weekdays. My weekend schedule can vary, I’d like to keep it between 8:00am to 8:00pm but I am happy to accommodate any needs! I am not set up to care for pets within my own home. I can walk your dog, and enjoy long walks myself. More than happy to pop in as well and take care of any needs that your pup may have!
“Joey was polite, professional, and communicated well. He took care of both of my cats and provided valuable peace of mind while I was out of town. I would definitely book his services again.”

About: Hi, My name is Djamila! I love being able to hang out with dogs! I have volunteered through the Humane Society for many years, worked at horse barns, and have been dog walking and sitting for over 10 years. I am energetic, and love to mix up the walks for your dog. I have also worked at vets offices as an assistant. I understand the importance of a responsible and caring person being around your fur baby, and I want to be that person! I can't wait to meet your dog! Also I have taken care of our two dogs and five cats since I was a kid. I love pets and consider them family members. My family relies on me, and my neighbors appreciate how I take care of their pets, too." "I work part-time and I’m available in the mornings before 12 on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, so I will have plenty of time to walk and play with your pups!" I live in a safe neighborhood in nice apartment that makes your pet feel at home and safe! They will enjoy it and have so much fun together!
About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes, ranging from Chihuahuas to Newfoundlands, and of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I enjoy spending time with dogs in the way that looks best for them, whether it be going on long walks or spending time playing indoors, or just being present while they rest. I am a cat owner, so I take care of my own cat by feeding him twice daily, cleaning and replenishing his water bowl, and playing with him several times a day. I also prioritize cleaning his litter box every day, or at the very least every other day. I just finished my undergraduate schooling, so my weeks are very open and flexible which allows me to spend extra time with pets. In mine and in clients homes, I care for pets by feeding them, giving them water, cleaning out their bowls, cleaning the litter boxes, walking them and letting them outside, and playing with them.

If you’re looking for someone to drop in and love your dog I recommend Emma! Super friendly and flexible. I needed last minute help with my dog and she stepped in and cared for him and fed him. Very good with communicating and updating, also very trusting person. I’m so glad she could care for my Ollie while I was gone!! :))

Cindy is great! Have used her a few times I’ve gone out of town and she’s always very reliable. I had an issue with my electronic lock and missed when she reached out. Once I messaged her with a backup code she went right back over. Would absolutely recommend having her watch your pup!

Sadie-Jean took great care of our golden retriever Beau while we were gone for the day! She always goes above and beyond, and we never have to worry about Beau while we are gone when she is watching him! We have booked with her in the past and will continue to book with her in the future! Thank you so much Sadie-Jean!!

Camryn was an amazing help to our family this summer. She did daily visits with my dog while I was at work, was always there right on time, sent multiple pictures, and made sure my dog had lots of fun and exercise. I’d recommend to anyone looking for help with their furry friend.

Anna was absolutely wonderful! She was attentive, communicative, and took great care of my dog. She sent lots of pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. She also responded to my messages right away and was always easy to reach. It was clear Scout was well cared for and happy with her. I would absolutely book with Anna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Lauren took great care of our golden retriever Beau while we were gone for the day! Lauren was very friendly, caring, had great communication, and provided updates and photos! Beau was very happy, and we will definitely book with Lauren again in the future!

Taylor was absolutely fantastic while caring for my dogs, Mango and Mars. From the moment she arrived, it was clear how comfortable and happy they felt around her. She handled their different personalities with ease—Mango’s playful energy and Mars’s more relaxed vibe—and made sure each of them got exactly the kind of attention they needed. Taylor kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. I could tell she wasn’t just “watching” them; she was genuinely engaged, patient, and caring. When I returned, both dogs were calm, content, and clearly well‑loved. I highly recommend Taylor to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and truly wonderful dog sitter. Mango and Mars adore her, and so do I.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
