“Qiushi is very kind, reliable, and trustworthy. She goes above and beyond what she “needs” to do. I always get the cutest photos when she’s with our Frenchie and he just adores her. 10/10 recommend!!”

“I can always count on Emily. The dogs are very happy when I get home. No issues with anything. I have peace of mind while traveling. The care for my pets is not something I worry about.”

“Jamie did an AMAZING job with my 4 crazy dogs! From the pictures they loved seeing her, and she even managed to win over our Grumpy old lady dog. Her communication was excellent, and I highly recommend her!”

About: Hello! My name is Erin, and I live in the Dublin/Columbus area. I recently lost my miniature Dachshund, Leo, in April after 13 wonderful years together. He was truly my best friend and constant companion, and while I’m heartbroken over the loss, being around animals continues to bring me so much comfort and joy. I work remotely from home Monday–Friday (8am–5pm), which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend quality time caring for pets throughout the day. I have over 15 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I understand how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your furry family member. Whether your pet needs walks, feeding, companionship, playtime, or simply extra love and attention while you're away, I would be honored to help. I truly have a lot of love to give, and pet sitting feels like such a meaningful way to fill my free time while doing something that makes me happy. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I’m happy to chat, provide references, and make sure you feel completely comfortable and confident in your pet’s care. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I work remotely from home full-time and have a flexible schedule throughout the day. I’m able to provide walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention while still maintaining my work responsibilities. I’m also open on weekends and available for house sitting. Since I can work from anywhere with Wi-Fi, I’m happy to stay in your home and keep your pets comfortable in their normal environment while you’re away. At this time, I’m staying in my mom’s home and unfortunately can’t bring other pets into the house. However, I’m very flexible and happy to care for pets in their own home environment where they’re most comfortable.
About: My family has had dogs ever since I was a little kid! Once I moved to Columbus to attend OSU and medical school, I successfully fostered 5 dogs through the Franklin County Shelter. Moving to Columbus made me miss my furry friend back home, so I would love to help the ones around me! I am currently a third year medical student and have availability during most weekends to get your pup the time and attention he/she needs! Occasionally I will have free weeks as well. I currently live in an apartment with plenty of grass just outside my door. When pets come and stay, I always dog proof the home to make sure they don’t get into anything they’re not supposed to!
About: I have been watching dogs since I was a kid. Starting in elementary school I would watch an adult and senior dog, Frankie and Bianca, for my neighbor. What started as just feeding, walks, and playtime grew to include cleaning up after them and handling medications and minor, non-medical, palliative care. As an adult I petsit regularly for friends and family. I love playing with all furry friends to ensure their brains stay stimulated! I love snuggling and giving all the pats and attention to cuddly pets, but am always content to just offer a comforting presence to even the most solitude-seeking animals. A close friend had a horrible experience with boarding her cat once which really motivated me to enter the pet-sitting space. I know how important and deserving of love and respect all animals are, so I can promise I would care for your pets as if they were my own! I am based in Northwest Columbus but work in Gahanna, so depending on where you live I can come by for 2/3 potty breaks for your pet(s)! My weekends are open for animal time as well! If you leave trash bags, broom, dustpan, paper towels/rags, and pet cleaner in an easy to find place I can ensure your home will be found in the same good condition you leave it in! I change diapers at work so I am not easily grossed out. Whether it is scooping poop or cleaning hairballs, I got it covered!
About: I have been around dogs my whole life, meaning I understand how to interact and handle dogs of all ages. I also enjoy being around dogs so spending time with your pet will never feel like a chore or inconvenience. I’m a medical student at Ohio university (Dublin campus), so would be open to walking or house sitting pets as I can around my school schedule. I am reliable and responsible, meaning I will be respectful of the home I am in and make sure to understand the care I will be providing for the pet and I will show up when I need to, I will not leave any pet stranded.
“Leaving home and being away from my pet is something that always causes me a ton of anxiety, both while being gone and when I come back and go through the few days where he's always afraid I'm about to leave again. Having Amy's consistent updates and the obvious care she was paying to Frodo helped so much, I actually was able to enjoy my vacation instead of worrying the whole time. If I ever need this service again, Amy has a customer for life with how good she's done, and anyone else looking for care for their pet should feel comfortable that Amy will do a fantastic job. 10/10 strongly recommend. Thank you so much!!”

“Erin was fantastic with our three older dogs during her drop-in visits this week. Taking care of senior pups requires a certain level of attentiveness, and Erin delivered. She was incredibly punctual, showing up right on time for every single visit, which kept our dogs on their necessary routine. Her communication was prompt and detailed, giving us peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely work with Erin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“This is our second time booking with Shelly and she did a great job! Loved getting the update pics and you could tell our dog was happy to see her! It’s so nice to see our dog happy and enjoying herself while we are away. Thank you, Shelly!”

About: I've grown up with 2 family dogs and I have also dog-sit for many other friends and family over the years. The tasks I have been assigned with while cat-sitting for others have been: ▪️checking-in: making sure there is food and water available ▪️cleaning up any accidents or vomit (My dog Callie would pee every time she got excited so I know some tricks to help clean it up!) ▪️Usually have been asked to stay and give their dogs company/play with them and tire them out ▪️Before leaving I make sure no plastic, broken toy pieces or other choking hazards left on the floor I'm currently working part-time so I have a lot of free time throughout the week! So I can usually do check-ins during the day as well. I am an advocate of making sure a pets needs are met and safety is also present in care. This looks like putting away choking hazards for the pets before I leave, and I also typically make sure they still have access to food and water (unless there's other specific instructions!).

About: I’ve been around at least 2 to 3 dogs my entire life both big and small! I absolutely love all of the furry friends and believe each animal deserves their dedicated time and attention! I have my dog Timber, she is a rescue and was quite reactive when I first got her, so I have lots of experience with calming anxious pups and taking things at their pace!! I will always ensure to take each animal’s temperament and routine into account while caring for them. I believe our pets are our children and I will treat yours like my own! I have cared for friends and family’s dogs and cats both in drop in style and dog sitting over night. I am comfortable giving oral and subcutaneous medication injections to animals (I had to do this for one of my old pups and my family’s horse). I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends! I am a registered nurse and work 3 days a week on day shift, so I will have 4 days off a week to help with walks or drop ins. Depending on how far you are from work I could consider a drop in after my shift ends around 7:30pm. My schedule on days off are extremely flexible, so I can adjust my time to fit your animal’s needs! I believe that our pets are our children and I will always treat your pet as my own! In your home, I will be respectful of your space and make sure to leave the space exactly the way I found it! I know how important routines are to animals so I like to get to know each pet and stick to their routine as strictly as possible to ensure they feel as comfortable as they can with me around!
“Ann is amazing! She takes such good care of my pups and always sends updates. My dachshund isn’t great with people and Ann has been so patient with him over the past few weeks. It is greatly appreciated!”

About: I've taken care of a variety of dogs while participating in a post-high school graduation program in 2018. I would walk the dogs, play with them, groom them and work on training them. I have been a pet parent for 13 years, in that time I have owned a total of 4 dogs (spread over years). I got my oldest dog, Copper when he was a puppy, he’s 13 years old now. In 2024 I briefly owned a Pomsky named Rocco, but I had to rehome him because I wasn’t equipped to care for a Pomsky. Fall 2024 I adopted a Chihuahua named Lilo, she was 8 years old and was already recovering from respiratory and heart issues, she sadly passed away two months later. The following summer of 2025 i adopted another Chihuahua named Penny. Earlier this year i adopted a cat, she’s a diluted tortico named Marbles. I walk my dogs frequently when it’s nice weather outside. My dog Penny loves to have her zoomies when we’re in an empty fenced yard. She also loves sunbathing outside. My availability depends on my work schedule, however I can work Saturdays and most afternoons on weekdays. Not available on Wednesdays and Sundays. Most afternoons could work. I have a playpen in my apartment big enough to accommodate puppies and small to medium sized breeds. There are also safe walking trails at my place of residence
About: I’ve grown up my whole life with dogs (and the occasional cat). My best friend is my dog, Kermit, that I’ve raised and been with me for 13 years (and God willing much more to go). I decided to join Rover because I personally struggled with finding trustworthy & consistent care for my baby. I wanted to be able to provide that care for someone else, to know there is a safe and attentive caregiver for your precious family. I live in Dublin and enjoy a neighborhood with plenty of walking trails and many dogs. My dog is dog friendly and used to dog visitors, either via daycare or watching friends/families fur babies. I am happy to host at my place and do drop ins. Walks are possible beyond work hours (after 4:30 weekdays). If being asked for staying at your house, I would need to be able to bring my dog. I will respect and honor your rules and bring love and attention to each baby. I work at home which affords me at home flexibility. Ideally looking to keep drop in before 8:30 pm. I am happy to host at my place (which would have my super sweet and friendly dog-loving 13-yr old dog) and do drop ins. If being asked for staying overnight at your house, I would need to be able to bring my dog also. I have a nice spacious yard without fence. With my dog, I usually take walks or I have a dog walk leash in backyard. My house is open range for dogs, but I also have a crate if crate-trained. I will follow all care instructions, not only for fur baby, but for house too.

Ashley was fantastic with our three older dogs over the long weekend! Taking care of senior pups can be a lot to manage, but she handled everything with incredible patience and professionalism. Laci is an awesome sitter! She was super attentive to my dogs need and made me feel at ease knowing that my fur baby was in the best hands. It’s very clear that she takes her job very seriously and I truly appreciate how much she communicates and followed our regular routine and training schedule.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Dublin with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
