“We LOVE having Danielle take care of our babies! She even left us a Christmas gift including ornaments with the names of both our dogs! She is the sweetest, and we will absolutely use her again! :)”

About: I have been petting sitting on my own for several years for friends and neighbors. Word has continued to get out, about how great everyone’s experience was from top to bottom so I thought I’d make a go at it here! I am a PATH certified CTRI working with equines and vulnerable populations. I currently train and handle our horse herd there and am a very confident and gentle equestrian, but firm when needed. This translates well to pet sitting often as animals have a way of knowing who they can trust and I’m patient enough to give them the space to figure that out. I currently work part time for a non-profit working w horses and vulnerable populations. I am a riding instructor and photography coordinator. It’s a dream job w a lot Of flexibility currently for me to add in side work I do not currently offer services in my home but have cared for animals in others homes. I understand how important it is to read body language and respect others space and time
“Bonnie made fast friends with our two cats, one who is usually super shy and hesitant around new people! She took great care of our cats and helped us feel comfortable being away!”

“Best Rover sitter we’ve ever used! Our lockbox was frozen, but she managed to get it open anyway. Lots of communication and very professional. She sent a cute video and took great care of our dog. Also left him some homemade treats. Highly recommend!!”

About: I worked at a kennel for a year growing up and consistently volunteered at animal friends. In Pittsburgh I had a small pet sitting business within my neighborhood. I have taken care of dogs, cats, reptiles, hedgehogs, guinea pigs and birds. I’m between jobs currently so I have a lot of availible time. Would love to go on some walks during the day or explore some parks. Otherwise just spending time with the pet! I would follow all instructions set by the owner for keeping the pet safe in their home, yard or area. My neighborhood is very walkable and there is green space around if that is an option
About: I've taken care of dogs since i was 15 and still continue on the side. Im working to start school in the fall and am looking for clients this summer! I am currently working doing dog walking and have a very open schedule. But I will be going to school in the fall to become an Esthetician! I’ll always come over with lots of love for your pets and your home. i want my clients to feel comfortable and happy with my pet care!
“Kim was phenomenal. I appreciated that she wanted to meet me and our two dachshunds prior to our trip and go over their care especially for our older dog. She went above and beyond, staying extra time, playing with them, bringing in boxes that were delivered. So happy we found her through Rover and will be using her again!!”

“Meghana filled in for our regular petsitter with our two senior chihuahuas who are pretty skittish with everybody, and not only was able to get them comfortable with her quickly, but even got to sit with and pet them (which they will rarely let US do)!”

“Mariya was fantastic caring for my elderly dog! She was able to take my request on very short notice and took great care of him while I was away! Thank you!”

“Kyra is helpful and friendly and she takes great care of our senior cats who both need medicine but hate taking it. We truly appreciate all that she does. Would 100% recommend.”

“Erica was so great with my two dogs! She treated them like her own and I could always rely on her to be there when she said she would be. She provides excellent care and I will recommend her to anyone needing help with their pets in the future!”

“Emily saved the day! My travel home got diverted. I had to spend an additional night “on the road.” Emily was able to add an extra drop-in visit for my critters with less than 24 hours notice. Not all super-heroes wear capes! 🫶🏻”

“Ashley was awesome!!! She conducted drop in visits for both of my large, energetic dogs and did a great job. She kept me updated and in the loop the whole time. I will use her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable dog sitter”
“Qiushi is very kind, reliable, and trustworthy. She goes above and beyond what she “needs” to do. I always get the cutest photos when she’s with our Frenchie and he just adores her. 10/10 recommend!!”

“Jamie was a real pleasure to work with; she was attentive to our requests, always upbeat and a proverbial workaholic when it came to our boys, Ben and Hemingway! We have no hesitation in recommending her as a skillful absentee pet parent with outstanding communication skills!”

“Courtney was professional and great with Sully. It is reassuring that she works at an animal clinic and knows how to take care of your pet’s specific needs. Will definitely have her come back for future visits.”

About: I've grown up with 2 family dogs and I have also dog-sit for many other friends and family over the years. The tasks I have been assigned with while cat-sitting for others have been: ▪️checking-in: making sure there is food and water available ▪️cleaning up any accidents or vomit (My dog Callie would pee every time she got excited so I know some tricks to help clean it up!) ▪️Usually have been asked to stay and give their dogs company/play with them and tire them out ▪️Before leaving I make sure no plastic, broken toy pieces or other choking hazards left on the floor I'm currently working part-time so I have a lot of free time throughout the week! So I can usually do check-ins during the day as well. I am an advocate of making sure a pets needs are met and safety is also present in care. This looks like putting away choking hazards for the pets before I leave, and I also typically make sure they still have access to food and water (unless there's other specific instructions!).

Dublin cat parents share their Rover experiences
If you are searching for a sitter for your kitty with medical needs, then look no further! Last month my cat was diagnosed with CKD. I was in desperate need of a Rover sitter to help give subcutaneous fluids to my (squirmy) kitty. I knew I needed someone who provides this care almost every day. I was so lucky to find Victoria’s profile. Victoria was clear in her communication and came prepared with techniques, tricks, and even extra supplies. Her first visit she wowed me by being able to insert the needle in on her own - my job after was to distract with pets and treats. The whole visit took about 10 minutes. Victoria is confident, calm, and kind. Her presence has eased any concerns I have about my cat not getting his proper dosage of fluids. I have absolutely no doubt you’ll feel at ease knowing Victoria is watching your kitty kiddo! I cannot recommend her enough.

Joy is an excellent sitter. She was able to accommodate my last minute request and did a wonderful job taking care of my cat. She provided timely updates and pictures during each visit. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and personable caretaker for their pet.
