“Bonnie was wonderful! She was incredibly consistent with her visits, and played and loved our puppies like they were her own! she sent us great pics to let us see our girls, as we missed them so much🌴. she also went above and beyond to bring in the mail each day. Bonnie will be our “go to” sitter from now on!”

About: I’m a local mom of two boys and a lifelong animal lover, and I’d love to help care for your pets like they’re part of our family. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet—whether it’s for a quick trip or a longer vacation—so my goal is to make sure you feel completely at ease. I provide dependable, calm, and attentive care, with lots of updates so you always know how your pet is doing. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m home most days and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for. I’m able to provide consistent visits, walks, feeding, and attention throughout the day, and I make sure each pet stays on their normal routine as much as possible. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening care, I build it into my schedule so pets feel comfortable and cared for. Because I’m not overbooked, I’m able to give each pet my full attention and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. I always tailor my care to each pet’s routine and personality so they feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping things consistent - feeding, walks, playtime, and rest all follow their normal schedule. I spend quality time with each pet so they don’t feel rushed or alone, and I’m careful to keep the home clean and secure. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is doing well.

“Michele is wonderful! She takes great care of our Lily and goes out of her way to make sure our schedules are aligned with ever-changing work and travel schedules. When we arrive home, Lily is happy, safe and well-rested. We appreciate you Michele and wonder how we ever survived without you :)”

“I was really to have Ashley as the pet sitter for my cat, Neo. She was very professional while also being warm and caring. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Neo was well looked after and comfortable with her. I would happily recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind pet sitter!”

“Danielle did a few drop-in visits with our fur babies in preparation for a housesitting we scheduled for our honeymoon. She has done very well with both dogs, even our Kensi that is very fearful and wary of strangers. Thank you!! :)”

About: Hello!! **Update** I am currently accepting walks for only 6-7am and 8-10pm timeframes. I have several repeat clients that take up the other hours but will update this if things change. Drop ins are same timeframes except for Sundays and Tuesdays I can take on anytime all day. If you are going on vacation please reach out anyways about Drop Ins as if my schedule allows I CAN accommodate for the most part with a month in advance*** :) My name is Christine and thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile :) I used Rover for 4-5 years but I moved and then was working 2 jobs at the time so I took a break and am back now! I currently live in a condo and do not have a yard right now but I’m feet away from a really great park here in Powell. I grew up taking care of many types of animals but more specifically dogs. I have 3 dogs of my own, all different breeds and personalities, which really challenged me to be able to learn and grow with taking care of dogs. I am working on opening my own location for a Doggie Day care business but until then I would like to gain even more experience and slowly earn loyal doggie clients. Mainly available for walks 7 days a week. Mostly open for drop ins 5-7 days a week ! I have a flexible schedule for last min bookings My 3 pets are EXTREMELY LOVED and spoiled! They have their own closets, foods, toys and even a room dedicated to my cats and dogs in case they just need that alone time away from the humans ! They receive the upmost care for grooming and vet clinic as well! My wallet is never happy when it comes to my pets because I just find so many ways to love them and spoil them!

About: My family has had animals all my life and I always have felt drawn to all kinds of pets and feel like I get what they’re saying without speaking! I love energetic play and having full conversations with them. I’ve taken care of newborn cats and dogs to adult cats and dogs. No specific experiences with senior animals but willing to learn! I work a full time job from 8-5, Mon-Fri. But I am more than happy to spend each evening and morning as well as the weekends with your cute and furry family members! I will give them ample about of social and play time while also following family specific rules for crating or free roam time. I can take them to a dog park and be energetic with them if allowed and can give all animals cuddle time as they deserve!
“Ann is amazing! She takes such good care of my pups and always sends updates. My dachshund isn’t great with people and Ann has been so patient with him over the past few weeks. It is greatly appreciated!”

About: I have lived with and cared for both cats and dogs my entire life! Caring for animals is something I take seriously, and I always make sure they feel at home. It is my privilege to give your pets a safe, fun, and stress free experience when you can’t be with them. I balance a full time role with flexible availability to give your pets consistent, loving care during the week. I also have open availability on the weekends. I provide hands on, attentive care whether pets are in my home or theirs. I stick to their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved by giving them consistent attention, keeping their environment clean, and treating them like my own pets
“Kyra is helpful and friendly and she takes great care of our senior cats who both need medicine but hate taking it. We truly appreciate all that she does. Would 100% recommend.”
“Sydney was amazing with our hoard of cats. She hung out with them and gave them lots of love and attention and even turned on their favorite enrichment TV without knowing it was their favorite! She also administered our one boys inhaler meds with no trouble at all. Even our shy kitty warmed up to her after her second time visiting, and he never does so! Sydney does a wonderful job keeping us updated and we will be happy to ask her to watch over them again while we are away.”

“I am so happy and relieved to have Carolyne care for my cats while I was away. I appreciated daily photos and updates on my "babies". I feel she went above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you so much Carolyne!!”

“Maria was absolutely wonderful for my pup!!! She was friendly, respectful, and very attentive to her needs. I am a new pup mama and she made me feel very comfortable leaving my pup with her. She was very responsible and read my very thorough instructions for my pup. I will definitely be choosing Maria again! :)”

“Qiushi is very kind, reliable, and trustworthy. She goes above and beyond what she “needs” to do. I always get the cutest photos when she’s with our Frenchie and he just adores her. 10/10 recommend!!”

“Sydnee was amazing with our two boys!! We received photos everyday and updates to make sure everything was okay. There were lots of play times and she always made sure they had enough food. We felt very comfortable with her in our home and we will be messaging her next time we need someone over :)”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Jerome. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
