About: I grew up on a farm, so I took care of cats, dogs, and various other farm type animals like horses and cows quite frequently. I also have a cat and two dogs back home that I take care of whenever I go back home. I’m currently waiting to hear back from multiple full time jobs, however this can take a while so at the moment I am usually free 24/7 for any pets who need taken care of! If I was to take a dog to my home, I have plenty of space for them to roam around inside as well as plenty of places outdoors to walk, or even go to the dog park if they enjoy going there. My apartment is perfect for a cat as well because there are plenty of windows for sunbathing and comfortable places to take naps, and for more active cats there is plenty of indoor space to play.
“Maia is amazing! She treats my pup like her own, giving lots of love and care. I had wonderful conversations and photos, and my dog came home happy and relaxed. Reliable, kind, and trustworthy — highly recommend!”

“Kimberly was simply amazing to work with! From the moment I contacted her to meeting her she made it a seamless process for me especially being a first time Rover user. She was quick to respond and flexible with her availability. She really gave me a peace of mind while I was work knowing that my pup was receiving great care and attention! Will definitely be using her services again!”

About: I have always been the go to in my family when pet care is needed when they travel. Cats, dogs and frogs. I am an aunt to humans as well and will be a good aunt to your pet. I was laid off and I have been doing different things while I figure out the next steps in life. I am home a lot during the day and evening as most of my side gigs are work from home so I could spend a lot of time with your baby. My apartment complex is pet friendly but I don't see a lot of dogs. I would leash the dog and take them around the property here for walks and bathroom breaks.
“Once again we had great services from Tracey! We hope to keep using her weekly as our regular walker! Happy to have her take care of our pup. She comes treat prepared! :)”

About: I worked at a kennel for a year growing up and consistently volunteered at animal friends. In Pittsburgh I had a small pet sitting business within my neighborhood. I have taken care of dogs, cats, reptiles, hedgehogs, guinea pigs and birds. I’m between jobs currently so I have a lot of availible time. Would love to go on some walks during the day or explore some parks. Otherwise just spending time with the pet! I would follow all instructions set by the owner for keeping the pet safe in their home, yard or area. My neighborhood is very walkable and there is green space around if that is an option

About: I have been taking care of dogs since was 12! I used to check dogs in the neighborhood! I’ve even stayed at a house for two weeks taking care of two dogs one extremely geriatric. I am good with giving medication to dogs, getting them a daily walk, making sure they have frequent potty breaks, and a whole lot of belly rubs!! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already care for my own dog every day. I’m used to walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. In my home or a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, potty breaks, medication, exercise, and routines. I always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and creating a calm, trustworthy environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for.
About: I’ve been very grateful to grow up with 4 dogs around me since I was 8. They’ve been my whole world and I’ve loved taking them on walks, bathing them, and playing with them! I’ve gotten to see them grow into senior pups and adjust their care accordingly, and I hope I can take my experience to treat your pups like royalty! I’ve moved up to Columbus to start my college journey early! (Go Bucks!) I’m new to the area so I have plenty of time for your pups on weekdays and weekends! I just have to know when :) I have experience in carefully measuring out meals if your dog has a special diet, an expert at puppy playtime, and can herd them into wherever they need to be left!

About: I have experience taking care of dogs with specific medical issues that need specific medication multiple times a day. I care for older dogs who need more time during walks or shorter walks. I am free in the morning to drop in for a walk and during the day for a quick playtime visit, and in the evening for a feed and evening walk. I can help assist by going to your home and taking your dog out or feeding them where they are most comfortable. When meeting a dog for the first time I always check to see if they’re comfortable with me, as we progress building a positive relationship.

About: I have over 8 years of experience working with animals, both as a private sitter and as an employee at PetLand. Throughout this time I have cared for dogs of all different sizes from French bulldogs to Mastiffs. I have been a pet owner my entire life, having raised everything from high-energy puppies, a calm rabbit, and a diabetic cat. I know firsthand how stressful it is to leave your fur baby behind, which is why I treat every guest pet exactly like my own family. I operate on a highly flexible schedule, which allows me to build my entire day around the needs of my pet guests. My mornings and evenings are completely open, meaning we start and end the day with dedicated, unhurried routines—long structured walks, fresh meals, and plenty of focused attention. During midday, my flexible hours allow me to easily pop out for drop-in visits or dog walking without rushing. If I am boarding your pet or house-sitting, they will never be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time, ensuring their comfort, safety, and bathroom schedule remain perfectly on track During a typical visit, my priority is maintaining your pet’s normal routine to minimize any stress. I will arrive promptly, greet your pet warmly, and immediately attend to their primary needs—whether that's a fresh litter scoop and food bowl wash for cats, or a structured walk and potty break for dogs. When your pet stays with me, I have a highly flexible schedule, your pet will have constant companionship throughout the day. They are welcome to curl up next to my desk or relax on the couch. We wrap up the evening with another round of exercise and plenty of wind-down cuddles. I strictly follow your rules regarding furniture, crating, and feeding boundaries to keep their routine seamless Safety is my number one priority on every walk. Before we even step outside, I always double-check that collars and harnesses are securely fitted. I tailor the walk entirely to your dog's age and energy level—whether they need a brisk, high-energy cardio walk to burn off steam, or a nice slow calm walk' for curious or senior pups. I practice positive reinforcement to discourage pulling or leash reactivity. Once we return, I’ll wipe their paws if it's rainy, ensure their water bowl is full, and send you a map of our route along with a summary of their potty breaks

About: I’ve been around at least 2 to 3 dogs my entire life both big and small! I absolutely love all of the furry friends and believe each animal deserves their dedicated time and attention! I have my dog Timber, she is a rescue and was quite reactive when I first got her, so I have lots of experience with calming anxious pups and taking things at their pace!! I will always ensure to take each animal’s temperament and routine into account while caring for them. I believe our pets are our children and I will treat yours like my own! I have cared for friends and family’s dogs and cats both in drop in style and dog sitting over night. I am comfortable giving oral and subcutaneous medication injections to animals (I had to do this for one of my old pups and my family’s horse). I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends! I am a registered nurse and work 3 days a week on day shift, so I will have 4 days off a week to help with walks or drop ins. Depending on how far you are from work I could consider a drop in after my shift ends around 7:30pm. My schedule on days off are extremely flexible, so I can adjust my time to fit your animal’s needs! I believe that our pets are our children and I will always treat your pet as my own! In your home, I will be respectful of your space and make sure to leave the space exactly the way I found it! I know how important routines are to animals so I like to get to know each pet and stick to their routine as strictly as possible to ensure they feel as comfortable as they can with me around!
About: I’ve had animals my whole life, and I currently take care of my senior Maltipoo. I’ve been dog-sitting and taking care of other people’s pets since I was a teenager. I currently only work a few days a week, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet! Any stop in or walk will be treated as if they were my own pet. I truly just love animals, especially dogs, and I love getting to know their different personalities. Exercise and play time are so important for dogs, and I’m happy to help out with that!!
About: We’ve recently lost our 16 yr old dog we loved and tended to from puppy through senior care. We have both always been dog people and enjoy any chance we get to meet and play with dogs. We are recently retired so we can offer great availability for visits to care for your fur baby! We’re very active and love walking and playing with dogs! We will take great care of your pet and your home. We will double check that doors are locked and any messes are cleaned up. Always happy to bring in mail and packages and respectively tend to your home as needed.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dublin
Magdalena was outstanding! She was very attentive and caring with our dog, and she engaged with him in different ways, including walks in the neighborhood and the nearby park and playing with him in the back yard and inside. Our dog gets anxious when we have to leave him at home, but she really helped mitigate his anxiety. We will gladly use her services again!

I’m so glad we found Laci! Flora is recovering from TPLO surgery, and we needed someone who understood her recovery and was willing to work with her while she recovers. Flora instantly was happy when Laci visited, so I knew her care would be great. Thank you for your care of our old lady, Laci!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
