“Jamie is so awesome with our pup! She’s always there and available when we need her! Her responses are always very quick, and she always gives a great description with pictures of what happened with our pup while in her care! So happy we found someone like her to help take care of our boy!”
About: I have taken care of my own 3 dogs since I was young and have dog sat for neighbors and friends multiple times over the last few years! I have cared for dogs of any breed and any age, as well as dogs with health concerns! I currently work Tuesday-Thursday 9am-11:30am and am open for just about the rest of the day! It is possible that I will have 2-3 hours of work at night but depends on co-workers schedules! I am very willing to walk and play with them or lay down and watch a movie on a tired day! I have cared for my own dogs and others, all with different personalities and energy, so I can make sure your dog is taken care of to the best of my abilities!
About: I’ve taken care of pets for family friends and colleagues since high school. I love to go on long walks, runs and play around in parks or backyards. I’m currently work in before and after school care so I am free 9:30am-3 pm on weekdays but I am happy to do check up’s early in the morning and late in the evenings. On Saturday’s I’m free all day except for 8-2 and Sundays I am free all day. In clients homes I will care for your pets in anyway they need whether that is cuddling inside all day or playing in the backyard. On walks I will ensure the safety of your pet by double checking the leash/harness and catering the walk to their liking.

About: Hello! I’ve grown up with all kinds of pets since a young age. I was trusted by neighbors to pet sit/house sit during their trips and when I got older I became an independent contractor for a pet sitting company! I worked there only a year due to relocation but there I learned animal behaviors and personalities, walking, playing, comforting, and even how to administer medications to pets!! I have a big heart for animals so I’d love to meet your fur babies and take the best care of them for you! I’m currently working very limited part time, and am available for meet n greets any day except Tuesday!! I have a clear schedule because I hope to dedicate majority of my time to taking care of animals :) I plan to have meet n greets before any official visit so I can learn your pets routine and behavior around me and give them the best care in your home!
“Today was my first time trying this app and I LOVE IT! Maria is amazing, she bond with Bailey immediately and I can tell Bailey loved her. She sent me pictures and kept me updated all the time. I could tell Bailey enjoyed the walk and Im definitely booking again with her!!”

I am looking for a part-time flexible job that will fit into my current schedule. I am available with notice and can be available early or late. I will only take care of pets in your home. I currently have a dog and 5 cats and could not upset their balance. I enjoy walking with the dogs and playing fetch. I also enjoy down time just talking with them and petting them.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since was 12! I used to check dogs in the neighborhood! I’ve even stayed at a house for two weeks taking care of two dogs one extremely geriatric. I am good with giving medication to dogs, getting them a daily walk, making sure they have frequent potty breaks, and a whole lot of belly rubs!! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already care for my own dog every day. I’m used to walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. In my home or a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, potty breaks, medication, exercise, and routines. I always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and creating a calm, trustworthy environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for.

I’m always available to spend time with doggies and I’m mainly available in the mornings/afternoon but sometimes can fit in a night visit as well. I make sure to leave the clients home in as good condition as I found it. I try to not make any messes and entertain the dogs
About: I love pets!! My kids make fun of me because I would likely have a zoo if I had enough time and resources. So, since I can’t love on all them as my own, let me temporarily love on yours while you are away. I currently own 2 Shiba Inus named Murray and Mira, who are extremely friendly with other dogs, and 2 cats who think they are dogs. I am constantly pet sitting for my friends and neighbors. From my girlfriend and her diabetic cat to my buddy with a rambunctious Aussie to the rescue foster who is scared of her own shadow. These are just some examples of my experiences caring for pets. I have a nice, fenced yard in a safe neighborhood and a welcoming home to accommodate pet sitting as needed. Help me fund my own time away and/or building a fund for my next furry family member. ;) I currently work from home and have flexible schedule. I prefer in home boarding during weekdays, but could do in home care if within 10 minutes driving or on weekends. I am open minded to your care needs. I typically walk 3 miles a day, so I’m happy to go on a nice walk with your best friend.
About: Hey! I'm new to Rover, however I'm not new to animals. I have been around animals my whole life. I grew up with 3 adorable loving pups, and multiple upon multiple kitties. I love animals more then anything. I have alot of experience being around dogs and cats, and I would love for stop in, walk, and take care of your beautiful pups and kitties! I'm currently 23, in college for social work, and eager to meet your loving and adorable animals. My whole life I have wanted to participate in something with animals. Since I was 8 I have wanted to become a veterinarian, but since I cant do needles that well, that unfortunately did not work out. I promise that your animals will be in the best hands possible and I am here to accommodate to you and your animals needs. But I have been so excited to come on here to start doing what I love and have always wanted to do. :) With all the love in the world for animals, Kennedy Send a message and I'll be more than happy to work around your schedule! I work part-time, but my hours have been all over the place. I will do my absolute best to accommodate to you and your pets needs! I have a house with a fenced-in yard. I also have 1 small dog, and 3 kitties. I have experience giving oral medications to cats and dogs as my one cat has gastrointestinal issues.
About: I have owned a variety of animals my entire life, such as dogs, cats, and exotics. I am also a Veterinary Assistant so I have medical knowledge. I also went to a career school for Pre-Veterinary and am going to college for Animal sciences on a pre-vet track! I’m currently working part time at a Vet Clinic, so I have plenty of time for your pets! I am free most days during the week with morning/afternoon availability. Some night availability on given days. I am no stranger to caring for pets, or for homes. I am willing to do even the dirtiest of work (yes, even litter boxes), to ensure you and your pet have a clean environment.
About: I have always been the go to in my family when pet care is needed when they travel. Cats, dogs and frogs. I am an aunt to humans as well and will be a good aunt to your pet. I was laid off and I have been doing different things while I figure out the next steps in life. I am home a lot during the day and evening as most of my side gigs are work from home so I could spend a lot of time with your baby. My apartment complex is pet friendly but I don't see a lot of dogs. I would leash the dog and take them around the property here for walks and bathroom breaks.
About: I have been surrounded by dogs since I was born. I have been helping out with my own dogs since I was young and have potty trained and taught tricks to them. I have dog sat for about 7 years now and have spent time with dogs of all sizes. I currently live with 5 doggies consisting of big medium and small and have lots of love for this animal! I am currently in school and my classes are spaced out so I have a decent availability to spend time with dogs especially during weekends! I am a very patient person and will always allow dogs to smell me and get comfortable around me before petting them. I will be able to play with them or crate them if needed.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
