“Kirsten and Nicolas were great! They sent pics during the whole stay and were very communicative. They also have a fenced in back yard that they let the dogs run around in. They updated us when the pups appetites were low, which I really appreciated. Both of our dogs tend to be anxious without us because they aren’t used to used to being alone, so it was also a big plus that they work from home. In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. About: I’ve taken care of pets for family friends and colleagues since high school. I love to go on long walks, runs and play around in parks or backyards. I’m currently work in before and after school care so I am free 9:30am-3 pm on weekdays but I am happy to do check up’s early in the morning and late in the evenings. I work full time from home Monday through Friday from 7am to 330pm. My walking availability is any time after my work day through the week, and open to anytime on the weekends. If you book me for services, you can be assured that same love will be given to your furry friend. Feeding schedules followed as provided by pet parent to ensure your pup is getting the required amount of food. My dog eats freely except when I’m boarding as to not disrupt any schedules. I currently have one dog (Severus), who is a yorkie mix and 10 total cats, some indoor/outdoor/mix. Our home gets hectic but we love our animals and can’t imagine life any differently.

About: Growing up we had a dog and a cat, then as an adult, I was a hoomin owned by three cats. I've since chosen a hoomin partner who is very allergic to animals, so I get my animal lovies and playtime in with other folks' animals. “Ashley is a god send and she took care of Bosco just like she’d take care of her own. Bosco had a blast there with her puppers so much so that he refused to get into the car to head home. He was super comfortable and happy at Ashley’s and given a chance he’d be happy to stay there forever. We’re so glad to have found someone like Ashley who takes such good care of the puppies that come for a stay and the puppies know they’re safe, cared for and showered with love. Bosco will definitely return again”

I was in a tough spot when my Australian Shepherd named Wendle came down with a cough that needed treated with antibiotics and steroids 2 days before I was scheduled to leave the country on vacation for 10 days. With the alternative being to leave him in isolation at boarding for the entire time or canceling the trip, I was scrambling to find a sitter last minute and we really lucked out connecting with Emily here. She was amazing with Wendle, treating him as her own and I know he loved every minute of his own vacation with her. Emily kept me updated with detailed messages and pictures of Wendle during my trip and had no issues with giving him his medication and taking him on walks and giving him all the attention he needed. I can’t thank her enough for taking in Wendle at the last minute and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter in the future.”

“I love my puppies more than anything, so naturally I don't trust just anyone to care for them. So I panicked when I had to go to a convention in Las Vegas. That's when a friend recommended Rover. Thankfully, out of the multitude of people on Rover, I found Emily. She, and her husband, have been truly wonderful in every respect. They took excellent care of my puppies, fed them on time, took them on walks, have them plenty of toys and stimulation, and sent amazing pics regularly. “Mary was amazing. My dog Thyon is a sweet but skittish boy. Since making a big move from the country to the city, he has suffered from anxiety which he needed to be medicated for. I tried traditional boarding facilities however they were not a good fit. There were too many loud noises and he always came home stressed and nervous. Mary provided a wonderful environment. Not only was he able to quickly adapt and feel comfortable, but he seemed to thrived there. He was running in the yard with her dog Elle. Which he has not done since we moved months ago. I have finally found a place where I am comfortable to leave my boy and know he’s being well cared for. Thanks Mary!”
