Erin was fantastic with our three older dogs during her drop-in visits this week. Taking care of senior pups requires a certain level of attentiveness, and Erin delivered. She was incredibly punctual, showing up right on time for every single visit, which kept our dogs on their necessary routine. Her communication was prompt and detailed, giving us peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely work with Erin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!

I was really to have Ashley as the pet sitter for my cat, Neo. She was very professional while also being warm and caring. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Neo was well looked after and comfortable with her. I would happily recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind pet sitter!

About: I work at The Wag Dog Bar in Grandview! If your pups like other ones, let’s talk about the possibility of me bringing them for a few hours! If that makes you uncomfortable, no worries! I will still enjoy doing all other services to provide for your pup :) This position put me through a lot of training about dog behavior! I recently rescued my very own bully mix from the shelter. I am very comfortable with any and all pups! I am currently working two part time jobs so my schedules often changes! If you want to ask, please reach out and I will provide you my schedule for the whole week! My pup is like my child. I treat her with gentleness, just like I would your pup. I always have treats on hand (please let me know if your pup has any allergies!) I always go by the policy that the pup’s comfort and experience comes first!!

Isabella and Austin were great. Our dog Virgie is a shelter dog and is very protective of our home. They sent great pics of them petting and feeding her! She seemed super happy and we could not be happier with the service! We will use them again.

About: I have many years of experience with all types of dogs. From tiny chihuahuas to great danes! I live in a very dog friendly community and I understand puppies and the importance of their training needs. I am willing to exercise/run your dog if you need me to! I am also experienced with deaf dogs. I know it’s a tough time to get your dog outside for a walk and that’s where I come in. I currently am only accepting dog walks but I’m open to boarding if needed, just message me! I have two mixed breed pups named Teddy and Rex. Can’t wait to meet your pup! I take care of my pets 24-7! I know how important they are to a family. I currently only work part time so I have lots of time to spend with your four legged family members if you need me to! We treat our dogs like family and I would do the same for yours. We have a fenced yard that has room to run around. No dogs on the bed but everywhere else is free reign.

About: I have lots of free time before I start college so they will get my full attention! I always find joy being around dogs and exercising and would love to do that on a regular basis. I have some experience administering oral medication from my previous dog. I just moved to the area and currently do not have a job and am looking for a new fun side hustle. I have applied to jobs so as of right now I am looking to be on Rover Monday through Friday that may change if I get a job. I used to have a dog myself and am used to caring for a dog daily. I have a crate and various toys, leashes, treats at my house from my previous dog. I provide attentive care for dogs in clients’ homes by ensuring they are fed, exercised, and given fresh water.

About: I have recently experienced the loss of my own pets. Im not quite ready to get any new pets, but as an animal lover and dog enthusiast there is something missing greatly in my heart. I am eager to utilize my free time to care for your pets. If you or someone you know requires pet-sitting services for a weekend or an extended vacation, please do not hesitate to contact me. This is a new endeavor, and I am uncertain about its duration, but I am committed to providing the same level of care that I gave to my own pets, ensuring your peace of mind while you are away. Please message me if you are interested or know someone who is. 🐶🐱 I am good to take on puppies or senior dogs that require additional care or medicine. I do have a full time job, but am able to be remote. I would glad stay at anyone’s home to sit the pets and add them into my daily routine as I did with my own dogs. Let them out, feed them, walk them, play with them, cuddle them, and ensure they know they will be taken care of under my watch. I can easily take on a crate in my home. I do not have a yard, so I would need to walk them on a leash for them to use the bathroom. Apartment dogs will be great to watch in my home, as they would be use to that atmosphere!

About: I have years of experience caring for my own dogs, as well as the pets of friends and family. I fostered for a local rescue group for 5 years and also worked for 2 years as a veterinary assistant, where I gained experience caring for dogs with all sorts of medical and behavioral needs. I have fostered many different types of dogs of different energy levels and sizes. My personal dog is a Jack Russell mix whom I adopted through Franklin County. I am also experienced in giving various types of medications and am willing to work with special needs dogs. I also have a bearded dragon, two rats, a tarantula and some other invertebrates, so if you have any unique pets you need help caring for, let me know! I have a fully remote job that has flexible hours. I work a typical Monday-Friday 8-4 schedule, however I am able to work from your home if needed as long as there is wifi and a place for me to set down my laptop. On weekends, I am happy to take your pets around to a local park, a pet store, or anything else that may help them feel pampered and happy. I have my own car so can arrive and leave at my leisure. I am happy to bring a book or a crochet project to your house and hang out with your pet if they would prefer just knowing someone is around, and I can also take them on walks and help wear them out so they are ready to relax with you after the work day is done.

He did a great job keeping me updated on her mood and daily routine, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. He also shared plenty of photos, and it was clear she was comfortable and well cared for. On top of that, he was incredibly flexible and accommodating when I needed to add an extra day at the last minute. I really appreciated his responsiveness and willingness to help. I would absolutely book with Noah again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive sitter!

Sydney did a wonderful job taking care of our cats!!! After our initial meeting, we had high expectations - she exceeded them! She has a calm competence with animals that our pets clearly responded to. We have two cats: one who’s friendly but also assertive (sometimes overly so), and another who’s normally terrified of new people in our house. We assumed she’d never even see him. Instead, he didn’t run when Sydney entered (she even sent a photo!) and actually stayed with her and our other cat during the visit. That wasn’t luck, it was her experience showing. The depth of her experience, successfully handling all kinds of pet situations, makes her an outstanding choice for anyone needing a pet sitter. You'll feel comfortable that they're in good hands!

About: We have a household of pets (one dog and two cats). I've had dogs throughout my life and I embrace the responsibility of taking care of wonderful pets that need our loving and caring. I'm starting a profile to just help out neighbors in a bind that might need an emergency dog walk or check in. I don't need the money. My availability will be limited. I anticipating just helping other pet owners a few times a week that are very close to my home. Because of my life long pet ownership, If pets have special instructions or needs I am pretty proficient at giving medicine, feedings or following specific instructions. I will walk doggies in all type of bad or inclement weather. I prefer to stay just in Dublin or Hilliard area.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Plain City choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Plain City with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
