“I am so thankful for Thea and the wonderful care she provided to my cat, Matisse, and thereby the peace of mind provided to me. She arrived and left at the set times. I was sent great pictures of my active, playful cat and a narrative of her activity and if any issues arose. When I returned the kitchen was immaculate as was her box and surrounding area! Very impressive. At the meet and greet it was obvious Thea loves her job and liked Matisse who can be rather rambunctious! Highly recommended!”

“Outstanding caretaker - would give 10/5 if possible. Followed my instructions to the T and went significantly above and beyond keeping my kitties engaged and enriched while I was traveling.”

About: I had a dog from the time she was a puppy and I potty trained her, crate trained her and trained her in basic skills like sitting and how to properly walk on a leash. I love working with puppies and older dogs as well. I like to set up activities for them and interact with them a lot. I work during the week, so my weekend is free to care for your pets! I can be there from as early as 7am if you are hitting the road early for a road trip and I can be there typically until 9pm or if requested overnight. I can house sit and walk them, exercise them and set up activities to help your pup use their brains for social development and intelligence.

I can’t overstate how much peace of mind it gives me to know that my furry little darlings are in her care while I’m away.”

In my daily/per visit updates, I will note any changes in behavior and appetite so you can make decisions on what you want me to do to help your pet feel better.

About: I lived with my brother’s dog for over 20 months, but I unfortunately no longer live with her now. I have done three house sits for cats but will accept dog only 😊 I work full time on weekdays and am available on weekends only (Friday night to Sunday night). I will be exploring parks and be happy to be in the nature with your dog. I will feed your dog regularly. I will make sure that your dog gets regular bathroom breaks (every 6 hours) and may send you a lot of photos.
About: I've been around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. Growing up, my family owned a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and a Goldendoodle. As our Wheaten Terrier entered her senior years, I helped care for her and became familiar with the extra patience, attention, and support that older dogs often need. I'm comfortable with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I've also cared for my roommate's cats for weeks at a time while she traveled, treating them as if they were my own. As a responsible and attentive pet lover, I understand how important it is to know your furry family members are safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. As a school counselor, I have summers off and a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate extra time and attention to caring for your pets. I truly enjoy spending my free time with animals and providing dependable, loving care so you can feel confident your furry family members are in good hands while you're away. I’m available on weekdays and weekends! Reach out to me and we’ll set something up :) I provide pet care directly in your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I make sure they are well fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention, affection, and playtime while you’re away. I’m also attentive to details like medication schedules, potty breaks, and any special instructions to ensure your pets are safe, happy, and cared for just the way you would. Please tell me all the random and goofy things that are essential to your pet’s routine!
“Alex was great to work with! She left great notes and pictures that made me feel totally assured while I was gone. This was my first time using a service like Rover, and I would absolutely book Alex again!”

About: My family got our first dog when I was 5 years old (I creatively named him Bingo). Since then, my love for dogs has only grown and I've cared for all types of dogs of various breeds from yorkies to hound dogs to golden doodles. I have experience in caring for senior dogs with medical concerns (medications, incontinence, etc) as well as puppies who may need additional attention. I love to take pups for walks and make sure they get plenty of exercise and entertainment while their pet-parents are away. I have experience with dogs from hard backgrounds that may be timid, so rescues are no issue for me. I would love the opportunity to care for your dogs! I am currently a graduate student, so I am available in the evenings during the week as well as all day on the weekends. I'm available for sitting/check-ins after 4 pm during the week and all day during on the weekend. I see pet care as a treat after a long day of grad school that allows me to destress, so I would love to be able to spend time with your pet while you are away. My pets are thoroughly spoiled. I love to pick up a surprise treat or toy on the way home for my fur-babies and I always make time to play with them after a long day. I show the same care and love for my clients' pets as I do for my own and I would love to spoil yours :) I encourage communication and am very quick to respond to texts, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns or additional tips I should know about your pet.

Jen watched my two senior dogs and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Marley can be slow to warm up to new people, but Jen was so patient and let her get comfortable at her own pace. She also took great care of Maisy and made sure both girls were happy and well cared for while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jen again. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, patient, and dependable.
Cindy is great! Have used her a few times I’ve gone out of town and she’s always very reliable. I had an issue with my electronic lock and missed when she reached out. Once I messaged her with a backup code she went right back over. Would absolutely recommend having her watch your pup!

Sadie-Jean took great care of our golden retriever Beau while we were gone for the day! She always goes above and beyond, and we never have to worry about Beau while we are gone when she is watching him! We have booked with her in the past and will continue to book with her in the future! Thank you so much Sadie-Jean!!

Anna was absolutely wonderful! She was attentive, communicative, and took great care of my dog. She sent lots of pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. She also responded to my messages right away and was always easy to reach. It was clear Scout was well cared for and happy with her. I would absolutely book with Anna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Lauren took great care of our golden retriever Beau while we were gone for the day! Lauren was very friendly, caring, had great communication, and provided updates and photos! Beau was very happy, and we will definitely book with Lauren again in the future!

Taylor was absolutely fantastic while caring for my dogs, Mango and Mars. From the moment she arrived, it was clear how comfortable and happy they felt around her. She handled their different personalities with ease—Mango’s playful energy and Mars’s more relaxed vibe—and made sure each of them got exactly the kind of attention they needed. Taylor kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. I could tell she wasn’t just “watching” them; she was genuinely engaged, patient, and caring. When I returned, both dogs were calm, content, and clearly well‑loved. I highly recommend Taylor to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and truly wonderful dog sitter. Mango and Mars adore her, and so do I.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
