As a graduate student with a fellowship, my days are largely spent working from home, which is ideal for caring for pups! They'll rarely find themselves alone, as my flexible schedule ensures I'm present to tend to their needs and keep them company. My dog Moose and I love being outside, so we often go on long walks or I’ll sit outside and read with him on a leash. If this sounds like something your dog would enjoy, then I would love to incorporate them into our routines. Our apartment is surrounded by lush greenery and sits adjacent to the Olentangy River trail, offering an abundance of exciting sniff spots and ample opportunities for physical activity. For those pups who enjoy a little adventure, I'm more than happy to take them along to the park a few times a week for some added enrichment, provided you're comfortable with car trips. The only caveat in my otherwise flexible schedule is Tuesdays, when I work away from home for the entire day (9am-5pm). However, I always make a point to return home for lunch to ensure a walk and potty break.

Safety, trust & environment
I have one dog, Moose, who is about 30lbs and 2 years old. It's important to me that our pets get along, so we will need to schedule a meet and greet prior to your pets stay.Moose loves making new friends, but can be scared of large dogs. Living in an apartment, I have the space to comfortably accommodate one guest dog at a time, ensuring personalized care and attention. Moose is crate-trained, which helps manage his separation anxiety, but I'm fully prepared to adjust to whatever your pet needs to feel secure and happy while you're away. Please note, we're on the third floor, so if your dog isn't a fan of stairs and isn't too heavy, I'm more than ready to give them a lift. Additionally, for drop-in visits and pet walking services, Moose would be joining us on our adventures, so it’s essential our dogs get along from the start.

Let meme know if your pup has any special needs or behavioral issues (medication, reactivity, resource guarding, etc.). I have experience with these, and can accommodate!
A typical day
On a typical weekday, I take my dog for a long walk in the morning or have a long play session depending on the weather. I then will work from home for a few hours, giving the pups time to play with each other or rest. Then during lunch we will go out again, and if it’s nice, I will sit outside for a while with pups. After I get done working for the day, we walk again and then play in the afternoon. I also love doing training session or puzzle games to get their minds working/tired. Then the rest of the evening is spent hanging out together.

Pet care experience
From my earliest memories, dogs have been a central part of my life, growing up surrounded by their companionship and learning the nuances of their care. Over the years, I've transitioned this lifelong passion into a professional pursuit, dedicating myself to dog sitting in clients' homes. This experience has not only deepened my understanding of canine needs across all ages but also honed my ability to adapt to various care routines, ensuring that each pet receives the personalized attention they deserve. Now, I'm excited to open my home, expanding my services to host dogs in my apartment. Embodying the spirit of a stereotypical millennial dog mom, rest assured that your pet will be cared for excessively, with all the love, attention, and pampering they could ever wish for. Understanding that every dog is unique, I am committed to offering flexible care tailored to your pet's specific requirements and your caregiving preferences.I hope to provide a warm, safe environment where your furry family member will feel right at home.
Reviews

She’s great! Very good communication and always reliable.

This was our first time using Rover and Taylor made it a very smooth process. She was on time, quickly responded, and did a great job caring for our new pup while we worked.

This was the second part of Taylor’s two drop-ins for the day. Please see our other review of Taylor, amazing service!

Taylor took very good care of our girls when we had to be out of town for the day. Taylor stopped over twice and played with them and fed them and gave them lots of love. We completely trust Taylor in our home and with our dogs.
