Clean, dogs play openly and the videos and pictures show them all having fun and even playing with the kids who adore having dogs around. On a personal note, anyone who fosters a blind and deaf dog shows his love fir animals (BTW, the blind dogs played as much as t h e rest of them). This is not a sitter, the dogs feel at home. Thank you so much.”

So thankful for her help!”

“Alex D. was the perfect cat sitter for our 7 year old Ellie. With this being our first time to use Rover, we were not sure what to expect, but Alex definitely reassured us. She kept us informed through photos and correspondence, and it was wonderful to see that our shy Ellie totally trusted Alex and willingly greeted her each day and let her pet her. We highly recommend Alex and so appreciate her care and understanding of cats.”

“This is our second year of having Taylor cat sit for us while on vacation and I just can’t say enough good things. I think our cats behavior says the most about the quality of her care - our least social cat is currently waiting by the door for her at her normal check in time, even though we’re home and he’s been fed and has all of his favorite things. I wouldn’t trust anyone else in my home and with my pets, I cannot recommend her enough! We are so lucky to get to work with her, if you’re in need of a dependable and trustworthy sitter, this is your person.”

“Molly is very professional, kind, and capable. She put me at ease concerning the care of my cats, sent plenty of pictures, and followed the list I made. She even sent a video of her locking the door upon her departure. 100% recommend!”

Plus, as a nurse, I bring an extra layer of expert care to the table—I’m completely comfortable administering oral meds to cats and dogs, as well as handling injections. Whether your pet needs an adventurous brisk walk, a precise medical routine, or just heaps of love, I’m ready to make their time away from you absolute perfection! I am a nurse so on my days off I have basically the entire day wide open. I am a very active person and love going on walks. About: I’ve been a foster parent for Columbus Humane for 5 years. I’ve fostered everything from big dogs rescued from abuse cases to litters of kittens and their moms to pregnant guinea pigs! I also grew up in a house with 5 dogs and 2 cats—so nothing can surprise me. I have experience with breeds of all sizes, puppies, special medical needs, senior/end-of-life care, mixed animal homes (dogs AND cats, for example), and behavioral issues (other-dog aggressive, skittish, etc). I study from home all day and relax by going on walks with a science podcast. Your house, my house, whatever works—I’d love for your pup to join me! I’m currently studying from home full-time! So plenty of time for play, walks, potty breaks, or cuddles. I can do overnight boarding and doggy daycare at my house (I have a fenced backyard). I can offer lots of walks and attention as I study from home. I have a fenced-in backyard for playtime/potty and spare rooms for separation if needed. There is 1 set or stairs, but I can carry those who cannot do stairs if they are under 30lbs. I have experience with medical needs and first-aid. I’m happy to discuss your unique situation and see if we fit!
“Thomas took great care of my pup and he had a great time. Thomas sent plenty of updates and was very communicative and quick to respond. I could tell when I picked my dog up that he had not felt stressed or anxious, which is a huge relief.”

“We were initially apprehensive about hiring someone to take care of our beloved Shih Tzu-Yorkshire terrier mix, Nikko. However, Cindy’s exceptional service quickly put our worries to rest. She went above and beyond in every aspect of her care. Nikko had a fantastic time at Cindy’s daycare and even made some new doggie friends. Cindy kept us updated throughout the entire process, sending pictures and providing detailed updates on Nikko’s activities and well-being. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Nikko and his happiness. We are incredibly grateful to have found Cindy and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring doggy daycare provider. Thank you, Cindy, for taking such wonderful care of Nikko!”

About: Hi, I'm Daniel, and dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! I've cared for up to three dogs at once and even bred one of my own, who had a litter of eight puppies. That experience gave me a deep understanding of dogs at every stage of life, from newborns to adults. Your pup will be in experienced, loving hands with me! I work from home, so I am able to spend quality time with your dog and take them out on a regular cadence. I am flexible with my schedule. I live in a house with a fenced-in yard, so your dog will also have the opportunity to roam around off-leash. I keep pets safe by ensuring secure, escape-proof spaces, maintaining their normal routine, and giving them constant attention and affection in a calm, comfortable environment they can feel at home in.

About: Hi! I am a pet owner and enthusiast. Since I am a professor, I work from home and have a lot of free time in summers and holidays to hang out with your wonderful dog. Additionally, my husband works from home so your pooch will never be alone and will have frequent walks around the many green spaces in Franklinton. Our favorite is the river. I love getting to know a pet’s wants, anticipate their anxieties, and most importantly play! My work requires me to be on-site part time, so I am quite flexible for overnight stays, extra long walks, and boarding at my place with my sheltie Flora. I have a two bedroom apartment with my sweet, spayed sheltie Flora who loves to play and take naps. I am quite active so I would be happy to take your dog on long epic walks.

About: Hi!! I have a deep love for dogs and have grown up with them my whole life of all ages! I got my first dog in high school and was I was 100% responsible for her and raised her from a puppy until she was 4 years old until I had to go to college and couldn’t bring her with me. I miss her so much so I thought this is a great way to fill that void! I have experience with different breeds as well, and I have dog sat for some of my friends and family in the past! I am currently taking summer classes and I have a very free schedule with only being out of the house for 1-2 hours a day. I have a very pet friendly home with a large couch where your pup could hangout on and take a nap! I can easily put the dog in their crate or just let them hangout on the couch if you’d like!
“She took awesome care of my two babies even after they totally act like they had no home training kept in contact and was even accommodating with picking up early and dropping off late I appreciate her so much highly recommended and will definitely use again”

“Alec and Aishu, and their lovely dog Winnie, looked after my girl Nova beautifully. She can be a little skittish at first in unfamiliar situations, but she soon settled down and relaxed! She had an amazing time exploring, going for a long walk and playing with her new pal. I appreciated that photos were sent throughout the day.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog walker! Maya took care of our two dogs twice a day for more than a week while we were out of town. To our relief, she accepted the job on very short notice and was absolutely spectacular. Our dogs loved her instantly and looked forward to her visits. Every picture she sent showed two happy, smiling pups. They were relaxed and content when we got home, and thanks to Maya, the girls didn’t have a single accident in the house! Maya is kind, gentle, dependable, and truly takes the time to understand each dog’s individual personality, likes, and dislikes. We are so grateful to her and will definitely use her again. We highly recommend Maya to any pet parent!”

“This is our second time booking with Emma, and we'll happily book with her again in the future. We had good communication, the walks were for the agreed upon amount of time, and we always came home to a happy dog!”

“Vanessa is such an incredible support. She thinks quick and stays in control. We have a reactive dog and she always provides a safe and supportive environment.”

“Gwen took excellent care of my dog August! I work 12 hour shifts, and it was so nice knowing he was in good hands with her! She also gave detailed updates and sent the cutest pics!”

About: Hi! My name is Sabrina and I’m a second year optometry student at The Ohio State University! My first job at 13 was taking care of my next door neighbor’s dog. She loved me so much that she referred me to a few other people within the neighborhood. They relied on me to walk, feed, give medications, among other responsibilities. I never had the opportunity to have my own furry friend, so I loved dedicating my time to helping others with theirs :) I’m a second year optometry student looking for an easy and fun way to make some extra money! My schedule for school keeps me pretty busy, but I do have time to fit in some pet sitting jobs! I love pets and love being active, so walking dogs definitely is within my ballpark (no pun intended). If your pet loves to have someone keeping them company I’m the same way!
“Anita is fabulous. She is promot in her communication and reliable in her follow through. She is caring and takes care of our buddy like her own. She has been helping us with his care for last two years. I can not say enough positive things about her.”

About: I’m currently a graduate student at The Ohio State University, and alongside my academic work, caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. I’ve owned and cared for a variety of dogs of many different breeds and sizes. Growing up and into adulthood, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding schedules, and playtime. I understand how important it is to maintain your dog’s routine and make them feel comfortable while you’re away. As both a responsible graduate student and a lifelong dog owner, I bring reliability, organization, and genuine care to every visit. My goal is too make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for, and to give you peace of mind while you’re away! As a graduate student at The Ohio State University, I’m only in class for a portion of the day Monday through Thursday, which gives me consistent flexibility throughout the week. I’ve included my class schedule to be fully transparent about my availability: -Mondays 8am-4pm -Tuesdays 8am-12pm -Thursdays 8am-4pm My Wednesdays will be open until October, and Fri/Sat/Sun are generally open! Outside of class, my schedule is structured but open, allowing me to plan pet care visits, walks, and check-ins reliably. When caring for pets in other homes, I prioritize keeping their routine as normal and consistent as possible. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walk times, medications, and any specific preferences your pet may have. My goal is to make them feel safe and comfortable in their own environment.
“Jennifer was really assuring through the process of using rover for the first time! She provided a lot of pictures and details and did things I forgot to ask for, like refilling my dog’s water bowl. I felt really comfortable with her walking my dog and am happy knowing he got some extra care and attention!”

“Taylor has been very helpful. She has come and walked our very energetic dog on a weekly basis and I have had 0 difficulties getting ahold of her or getting feedback about how everything went. She is very sweet and a great choice for your pet!”

About: I currently manage a pet care boarding and daycare facility, so taking care of animals is a big part of my everyday life. I’ve worked with all kinds of animals, from energetic puppies who need structure and patience to senior pets who need a little extra attention and care. I’m comfortable giving medications (oral and diabetic injections), following detailed routines, and getting to know each pet’s individual personality. Working in pet care has taught me how important it is to pay attention to the little things. I’m used to noticing when a pet is acting differently, figuring out what they need, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I also know how important communication is, so I like to keep owners updated with pictures and messages so they know how their pets are doing. Whether your pet needs a long walk, some extra playtime, meds, or just someone to hang out with them, I’m happy to give them the same patience and attention I’d want someone to give my own pets! :) I currently work at a pet care facility, so caring for animals is already part of my daily routine. Outside of my shifts, I’m available to provide pet sitting and drop-in visits, which allows me to stay flexible while continuing to do something I love. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding, playtime, and medication instructions exactly as provided, and I make sure to give extra attention to their favorite spots and habits—whether that’s a window perch, a certain toy, or a bedtime routine. I keep the home tidy, refresh food and water regularly, and make sure the litter box (or yard for dogs) is clean and comfortable. I also provide updates and photos so owners feel connected while they’re away.

I’m attentive to feeding schedules, walks, medications, and of course plenty of playtime and affection. Pet sitting isn’t just a job to me, it’s something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in. Im currently attending online school and I have a very flexible schedule with plenty of time to walk, play with, and take care of your pets! I have a large fenced in yard and big house with a big kennel if needed. I have a very friendly cat and cavalier King Charles spaniel however they can easily be separated from your pet if required!
“Camryn has been amazing for this first 3 weeks. She scheduled a consultation on short notice, and has been great with timing, communication, and most importantly, care of our dog. We’ll be hiring her for a long time!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. For the past 5 years, I’ve cared for my own dog with a sensitive stomach, which has made me especially attentive to diet, routines, and overall well-being. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and keeping a close eye on behavior to ensure every dog stays happy, healthy, and stress-free. I keep a very clean home to minimize your pet picking up anything they shouldn’t. I work from home so I’m happy to watch your pup for day care or boarding. I can take your dog outside for walks or just potty breaks if needed. I work with dogs who are comfortable roaming the house. They must be friendly and used to other dogs since I have a 5 year old bernedoodle of my own. My dog loves to play but also nap.
