“Leann was great with a special request for my indoor/outdoor cat and was super timely with her questions and keeping me updated! I booked with her immediately after her first visit for another weekend. Highly recommend!”

“I booked Anna to take care of my precious cat during a recent vacation and couldn’t be happier. She was quick to reply to any texts, and I came home to a happy, chill little kitty :) I wouldn’t hesitate to call her again!”

“Abby is a superior dog sitter. I have 4 special needs yorkies & Havanese and Abby had to medicate, feed special food and provide lots of attention even carrying a dog downstairs to go to the bathroom. Abby is proactive, attentive & cleans everything so effectively!! Highly recommend!”
“Cindy! Thank you for taking care of Charlie while we were away. She did a great job and did what we requested for our cat. Thanks again. Would recommend.”

“It was so nice to be able to enjoy a day out and know that my dog was taken care of just how I would! He got a nice walk, dinner, play time, and I received plenty of pictures. I really appreciate how kind and great at communicating Taylor is and would definitely have her look after my dog again!”

“Rachel has watched my active, social cat twice now. I think both bookings were rather last minute and I appreciate how flexible and communicative she is. But more importantly, my cat loves her! He is more relaxed and less anxious when I return than when I've have other sitters watch him in the past. Highly reccommend!”

“Vanessa did a great job with Captain. I especially appreciated the update she provided at the end of the stay to let me know how things went. She asked great questions at the start and clearly has a love and appreciation for animals.”

“Emma was amazing with my cat, Toast! She was communicative, reliable, and even stayed extra some nights to give him more cuddles and attention. I felt completely comfortable trusting her with my home and pet, and I'd definitely recommend her to others.”

“Elizabeth is wonderful! She went far and beyond when my cat Tigger was sick. She took excellent care of him. Even water my plants while I was on vacation. Highly recommend her for cat or house sitter.”

“I can't reccomend Taylor enough! She took such good care of my cats and lizard while we were on vacation for a week. We have a very shy and standoffish cat and it was clear to me that Taylor made them all feel so safe and comfortable based on how willing the cats were to let her snap pics of them every day - shes a great photographer too! Great communication, punctual, flexible (thank you again for feeding and keeping an eye on our bearded dragon!), and just all around a wonderful sitter who we will absolutely be booking with again. I would trust her in my home and with my pets any day. Thank you Taylor!”

“Caitlyn did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away. She was very kind with her, and left detailed updates and pictures each day. I would definitely book her again!”

“Wish it would have let me leave a bigger tip. We LOVE Shelly!! Our dog is obsessed with her and he is always in the best of hands while we are out for a bit.”

“Joey was polite, professional, and communicated well. He took care of both of my cats and provided valuable peace of mind while I was out of town. I would definitely book his services again.”

“Megan has been doing drop in visits with our 3 year old golden retriever, Weston, since August. Megan does a wonderful job and is so attentive with Weston. He feels completely comfortable with her and loves when she visits. She is great about communicating with us and loops us in on how visits have gone. We are very grateful for Megan and will continue to book drop ins with her.”

Sadie-Jean is incredible at her job. The thorough updates and pictures make me feel comforted as I’m away. She’s amazing with instructions and demonstrates amazing attention to detail. I think I trust her with my cat more than myself! I highly recommend anyone utilizing her services!

We couldn't be happier that Audrey took care of Gary and Zoya during our 8-day vacation. Especially our girl Zoya, who's always scared of having other people in the house. Audrey won her trust with love and patience, and the photos she sent spoke volumes! Seeing Zoya so comfortable around her gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Recommended!! Will book again!

Alex is seriously the best! So kind and professional and our cats love her. She takes such great care of them and really goes above and beyond. I needed her to stop by last minute and she was more than willing to help. Highly highly recommend booking with her.

Overall did a good job! Came ahead of time to meet the cats, cleaned their litter and brought in packages from our porch. Biggest piece of feedback was I gave her a window of time I’d like the cats visited (3-7 pm) and she came in the morning one day and then asked again the next day - would recommend being very clear what times you need visits but overall she was receptive to the times we previously aligned on and ended up coming both evenings for visits.

While not an expectation, Melanie was able to add on one day with less than 12 hours notice because I got stranded in Chicago when my flight was cancelled! She has checked on my kitties millions of times and I would always recommend her, but really appreciated her willingness to help on short notice this time. ❤️

Amber truly went above and beyond for my cat! She was so communicative and was flexible when some circumstances in my apartment complex required her to come earlier or later than planned. She sent me great photos and I had such a sense of peace that she was there to take care of my cat. I could tell my cat truly enjoyed her stopping by. I would book with Amber again in a heartbeat!

My first time using Rover, and Sara made it easy. Based on her reviews and experience, she was an obvious choice—and she did a great job. She communicated quickly and consistently, and the photo updates were really reassuring. I’d happily book with her again to watch my cat.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Upper Arlington. On Rover:

- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
