About: I have had dogs in my family since I was little and adopted a little tuxedo cat two years ago. I have worked for various humane societies and watched family and friends pets for the past 8 years. Happy to watch dogs or cats! I will be available full-time from June through early August, so pet care will be a central part of my daily routine. With a very flexible schedule, I’m able to prioritize each pet’s unique needs, whether that means regular walks, playtime, feeding, or just providing companionship. I'm committed to giving pets consistent attention and care throughout the day and adapting to any specific routines they may already have. I focus on maintaining the pet’s regular routine in a safe and friendly environment, which helps reduce stress and keep them comfortable. I’m attentive to each pet’s needs, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering medication, or just spending quality time together. I also make sure to keep the home tidy and follow any specific instructions the owner provides.

“Renata was perfectly on time and sent pictures of everything Snoopy did. I really appreciated her stopping by on Monday to meet myself and Snoopy as well. She is very sweet to Snoopy. I will definitely try her first when we need a puppy sitter again!”

“Shannon was awesome! She was able to check in on my dog on super short notice and was super communicative while on the visit. I would highly recommend her to everyone and I would have tipped more if the app would have let me. Thank you so much Shannon!!”

“Erin was fantastic with our three older dogs during her drop-in visits this week. Taking care of senior pups requires a certain level of attentiveness, and Erin delivered. She was incredibly punctual, showing up right on time for every single visit, which kept our dogs on their necessary routine. Her communication was prompt and detailed, giving us peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely work with Erin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

About: I am new at Rover and would absolutely love to be given an opportunity to care for your pet. Dependable, caring, and attentive pet sitter. Excellent in communication, and genuine love for pets — making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I currently work from home so I have plenty of time to care for your pet. I’m available for during the day care or over night stay. I have a fenced yard and a friendly goldendoodle to keep your pet company with lots of backyard fun! Also have a crate available if needed.
“Courteney has dropped in multiple times and for multiple days to care for our elderly cat as we have traveled far and wide. We have never worried about our kitty while we were away and Courteney was on duty. She is extremely dependable, trustworthy, stays in contact regularly, and is sensitive to animals' temperament and moods. I highly recommend her without reservation!”

“Solana did a wonderful job taking care of our dogs! We enjoyed all the pictures while we were gone and she made sure to give our pups lots of attention! We will definitely be using her again in the future.”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life! I’ve had Oliver (frenchie) since he was a puppy, so I’m used to everything from training to daily routines. He requires allergy medication, which means I’m comfortable giving meds and paying close attention to a dog’s needs. I also frequently care for my family’s three dogs (two Frenchies and an English bulldog), so I’m great at handling multiple pups and making sure each one gets the attention they deserve. I’m currently working 3rd shift, so if you’re needing someone in the morning to let out your furry pet I can! Or if you want someone home all day with your pet, that works perfect for me as well! I can do walks during the days (after a little nap). I would say I’m pretty flexible if told ahead of time! I live in an apartment and do have a dog named Oliver. Oliver pretty much gets along with other dogs! If you’d rather your dog not be around another, I’d be more than willing to stay with your pets! My cousin would love watching my dog. I love meeting new fur babies and would love to help whenever I can with whatever you need!
About: I grew up with dogs all my life, and currently have two of my own. All of my family and friends say that if they ever need help with an issue on dogs that they know to come to me first. I also know how to work with working breeds well, especially since the two I have are a herder and bird dog! I also know how to perform CPR on dogs. I also am willing to work with any particular routine a dog has since I know that is extremely important for both the owner and the dog. At the moment I'm a full-time student so I'm quite busy during the week but have a few days off from classes. I'm willing to walk however much is needed for a dog's needs, and willing to play with them with enrichment toys or regular if that's what they prefer. I'm willing to crate a dog as well if that's what is normal for the dog. Whatever routine is set up, I will follow as closely as I can!
About: I’m a born animal lover! Have had and cared for animals my entire life. Any and all animals from wild to domestic are my ultimate passion in life. I promise to care for your pets at the highest level in order to give you peace of mind while you’re apart from them. I’m dependable, reliable, responsible, easy to work with/communicate with, I’m a diverse person who is comfortable in any setting and I’m very solution oriented. I hope you’ll give me an opportunity to help out with your animals. I’ve just recently relocated here to Columbus,OH area from Los Angeles California. I’m looking to help others with their pets because animals are my life’s passion! I’ve taken care of pets consistently for 10+ years and it simply never grows old. I have full open availability and I am very flexible and understanding. I’m easy to communicate with. At this time I can offer services at clients homes. I have two dogs of my own and so I am able to give your pets the one on one attention that they need I provide care in clients homes. I’ve found that pets do best with a sitter when they are inside of their domain.
“Shelby once again took amazing care of our two kitties over the holiday! We got updates and photos from each visit, and we appreciate how she takes the time to really play with them each drop in.”

“Noah took wonderful care of my cat for 6 days and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! He did a great job keeping me updated on her mood and daily routine, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. He also shared plenty of photos, and it was clear she was comfortable and well cared for. On top of that, he was incredibly flexible and accommodating when I needed to add an extra day at the last minute. I really appreciated his responsiveness and willingness to help. I would absolutely book with Noah again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive sitter!”

About: I work at The Wag Dog Bar in Grandview! If your pups like other ones, let’s talk about the possibility of me bringing them for a few hours! If that makes you uncomfortable, no worries! I will still enjoy doing all other services to provide for your pup :) This position put me through a lot of training about dog behavior! I recently rescued my very own bully mix from the shelter. I am very comfortable with any and all pups! I am currently working two part time jobs so my schedules often changes! If you want to ask, please reach out and I will provide you my schedule for the whole week! My pup is like my child. I treat her with gentleness, just like I would your pup. I always have treats on hand (please let me know if your pup has any allergies!) I always go by the policy that the pup’s comfort and experience comes first!!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was very young. I currently have a 14 year old beagle/cattle dog and 12 year old Pomeranian. My Pomeranian had three litters of puppies, so I also have experience with that as well. Additionally, one of my dogs previously was special needs, so I do have experience there and giving medications I’m currently working part time, so I will be available to assist during the week and some weekends/holidays. The best hours for me are between 9am and 3pm weekly, but just ask and I can try to accommodate your schedule I initially had an apartment with my first dog and understand the importance of keeping your pet on a leash, as well as picking up after them. As a home owner, I see the importance of allowing your pet to wander in a safe environment, while maintaining a watchful eye
About: Hi. I grew up helping take care of the best family pets - our collie Lady and our cat Aladdin! I’m looking forward to providing your pet with the care and attention they deserve while you’re away. I’ll provide consistent communication about your pet’s care because your pet’s happiness and safety are my top priority I currently have a very flexible schedule as I was unfortunately part of a recent reduction in force at the last company where I worked full time. This allows me to have extra availability to walk dogs, do drop in visits and house sitting while I'm researching my next full time employment opportunity. Ensuring I provide a comfortable and happy environment in a consistent and safe manner are always my top priorities for all my client’s pets.
About: As a dog mom myself, I know how important it is to make sure your dog is taken care of and is in good hands when you are gone. I am reliable, love being outside and active, and I already know that I also love your dog! Taking your dog for a walk will combine my passion for the outdoors with my love of dogs, and I am happy to help you care for your pet. I am a teacher, so I am lucky enough to have the summer off. This gives me a lot of flexibility to care for your dog and take him/her for a nice walk. I am an excellent communicator, and I will ensure that I follow your requests to a T to guarantee that your dog gets all needs met.
“Danielle did a few drop-in visits with our fur babies in preparation for a housesitting we scheduled for our honeymoon. She has done very well with both dogs, even our Kensi that is very fearful and wary of strangers. Thank you!! :)”

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Hilliard stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.
Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Hilliard choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Hilliard with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
