Rescue dog lover!
Dogs have always been in my life, from childhood, after college, raising my son ( we had 4 dogs!), and now as an older adult! I have adopted senior rescue dogs ( 5 dogs in the past 18 years). LI can't imagine my life without a dog and will always look for another rescue. But now I just want to have dogs around me and that's why I want to pet sit!

I don’t sit for other dogs in my home! My dog keeps me busy - walking 3 times a day, playing zoom, going to the park!

Laurie is a fantastic dog and house sitter! She goes above and beyond to make sure my dog is happy and cared for. She has done overnight visits and day visits and both have gone great. I can't recommend her enough!

Laurie is very sweet and kind and took all my notes in stride! She's very good with my dogs who are 15 1/2 years old. I will ask her again to care for them in the future.

Laurie is an amazing fur parent to senior dogs, as well as a remarkably patient and loving carer for others' pets too. To be upfront, Laurie is a very good friend, but is also one of the first people I think of if I have a booking that I cannot take, due to her conscientious nature, loving spirit, and just her sweet way with animals. We worked together, with one family in particular, as their 17.5 year old doggie needed almost around-the-clock care. It was so lovely to be able to keep in contact with each other (as well as Kirby's fur parents) on things, plus super awesome to be make it easier to switch up schedules if we had something else arise. I would trust her with any animals, and frankly humans, b/c of her caring nature and loving way of understanding needs. She is a gem of a hoomin.
I highly recommend Laurel to be a pet sitter for your organization. She is a compassion, competent person who will provide excellent, loving care to the pets entrusted in her care.

Schedule
I am a retired teacher and love to take my dogs for long walks! I have a flexible schedule. I I love snuggling with dogs and having fun with them!
- 0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsLaurie can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- I need to know if your dog is difficult to walk. I prefer dogs under 50 lbs and dogs that don’t pull! I raised 2 deaf dogs so I have experience with dogs who have special needs.
