“Jamie did an amazing job watching our three high maintenance cats! Two of the three are afraid of strangers but she won them over very quickly. The daily report cards made me feel better while being away, knowing they were being so well taken care of.”

“Carrie was wonderful with our Rosie and Nola. She was diligent, attentive, and very communicative. She made it easy for us to fully enjoy our vacation without worry!”

“Cindy made my first time using Rover an stress-free experience. I love my cat and I’m always terrified having people that I don’t know watch him. Cindy from the start was so nice and she made sure that he would be taken care of while I was away. I cannot recommend her enough!”

“Erin was fantastic with our three older dogs during her drop-in visits this week. Taking care of senior pups requires a certain level of attentiveness, and Erin delivered. She was incredibly punctual, showing up right on time for every single visit, which kept our dogs on their necessary routine. Her communication was prompt and detailed, giving us peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely work with Erin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“Danielle was great! She took good care of our two dogs over the weekend. One of which is a deaf rescue who is often leery of strangers. They both warmed right up to her. She sent photos/videos and notes at each visit and you could see that our pups were happy and at ease. I would definitely recommend her services to others and we will use her again in the future! Thanks Danielle! El Jay and Chris Richards”
“Kyra was amazing! My dog and cat really liked her. I was nervous to leave my dog with someone new, but she was great with him! We received regular updates and photos, and it was obvious they were getting lots of love and attention. I would highly recommend booking with Kyra!”

“Amber is just as perfect as my cat Purrfect!! She sends me daily updates on what my cat does while she’s there and, of course, and picture or two! She’s been wonderful with Purrfect who has really taken to her. I am very happy this has worked out.”

“Ashlyn was fantastic! When we were away, she made sure that our two dogs were more than well taken care of. She went above and beyond! We will be booking with her in the future for sure!”

“Sorillian was fantastic with our cat while we were away on a two week trip. We came home to a very happy cat and a well cared for home. I book with her every time we travel and know I can count on her.”

“Super reliable! Whitney walks my dog twice a week while I'm at work and always sends a message w/ photos when she's walking him. So nice not to have to worry at all!”
About: I've been taking care of animals ever since I was young. I currently am a supervisor at a vet clinic in Columbus and am looking to make some extra money on the side. I have been working in the vet field for 3+ years and currently a undergrad student with a dream to go to vet school. I am a big animal lover and have a big personality! I would love to love your babies as my own. I am currently a clinical supervisor at a vet clinic in Columbus. I handle cats and dogs from all ages all day long. I am looking for a side job to help my community as well as spread my love for animals. I work 9-5pm on the weekdays but are completely free on the weekends. I have two dogs of my own that have lots of energy. I know how to tire my babies out. Some days they decide to be couch-potatoes and I can relate! I have experience with all types of activity levels and social levels. This also related to cats as well!! Every animal is different and I believe their care is too! I'm willing to accommodate and make your babies happy anyway I can.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Hilliard
Kim & Whitney are the first dog sitters we've ever hired and we could not be happier with their weekend visit with our pack of 3 high-energy chaos gremlins! The dogs got lots of care, attention and playtime while we were out of town, with minimal disruptions to their routines. With a senior, adult, and puppy, our dogs each have their own personality quirks and preferences, and Kim and Whitney did a phenomenal job of making sure each dog got their individual needs met. We got photos and text updates after every visit, and they even took care of some house-routine tasks while they were there.

Kayla did a fantastic job watching my cat, Jasper, and maintaining my plants while I was away. I could see that Jasper immediately took to her and he was happy and comfortable being around her. She was quick to respond to my pet sitting request and she was professional, prompt, and met all my expectations. She even had to deal with the unfortunate situation of my front door lock getting stuck in place from the humidity. She was great at communicating and was willing to do what was needed to get into my house. I felt badly for the door getting stuck on her, but she didn't let that stop her!

Kaylee was amazing. She did great with our boys. It was the first time we had left them without someone staying in the house with them and she put my nerves at ease that they would be well taken care of. Highly recommend Kaylee. We will definitely use her again when we take a trip.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
