About: I love pets!! My kids make fun of me because I would likely have a zoo if I had enough time and resources. So, since I can’t love on all them as my own, let me temporarily love on yours while you are away. I currently own 2 Shiba Inus named Murray and Mira, who are extremely friendly with other dogs, and 2 cats who think they are dogs. I am constantly pet sitting for my friends and neighbors. From my girlfriend and her diabetic cat to my buddy with a rambunctious Aussie to the rescue foster who is scared of her own shadow. These are just some examples of my experiences caring for pets. I have a nice, fenced yard in a safe neighborhood and a welcoming home to accommodate pet sitting as needed. Help me fund my own time away and/or building a fund for my next furry family member. ;) I currently work from home and have flexible schedule. I prefer in home boarding during weekdays, but could do in home care if within 10 minutes driving or on weekends. I am open minded to your care needs. I typically walk 3 miles a day, so I’m happy to go on a nice walk with your best friend.

I was trusted by neighbors to pet sit/house sit during their trips and when I got older I became an independent contractor for a pet sitting company! I worked there only a year due to relocation but there I learned animal behaviors and personalities, walking, playing, comforting, and even how to administer medications to pets!! About: I've had and loved dogs my entire life. Our most recent dog was Ginger, a yellow lab who lived a happy life with us for over 15 years. Now that I am semi retired I have had time to frequently take care of my daughter and son-in-law's Great Pyrenees Lily and love to walk her several times a week or multiple times a day when she stays with us. I'm an early retiree, work part time, and I spend much time with our cat Leo. I also frequently take care of my daughter and son-in-law's dog, Lily, a Great Pyrenees. I love to take my daughter's dog for walks, as I did for over 15 years with our yellow lab Ginger. There is a nice park within easy walking distance from our house. I also like to go to different places to walk. It's great excercise for dogs and for me. I can walk as far as the dog typically walks or more as I am in very good physical condition.

For new bookings, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to help ensure availability. My home is pet-friendly, smoke free, and designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your pup. I have plenty of indoor space for pets to relax and play, as well as a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and potty breaks. I always follow each pet’s individual routine and care instructions, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any specific needs you share with me. Dogs are supervised while outside, and I make sure they have plenty of attention and companionship throughout their stay. If your dog is crate trained, I’m happy to use their crate upon request to maintain their normal routine or provide a familiar, comfortable space.
