“Alexis was fantastic with my dog Maple. She was patient and spent extra time with Maple to help her feel comfortable the first time they met. Lots of pictures and videos which I really appreciated!”

“Rachel does a great job walking our dog each day at lunchtime. He is quite energetic and can be impulsive on leash. I appreciate her patience and the daily reports and pics. Gives me peace of mind that he is well cared for and getting exercise during the day.”

“Ashley is great! My dog warmed up to her very quickly, and she was kind, communicative, and on time. We have booked recurring walks and will continue these until we move so long as Ashley is available :)”

About: I don't remember a time in my life when I wasn't surrounded with pets and animals. I grew up with three cats and a dog, had a few gerbals and hermit crabs, helped raise pythons, and get to enjoy dog kisses and and snuggles whenever I want from relative's pets. My grandparents live on a farm and love to help any of creatures us grandkids find. Animals are my passion! As a young entrepreneur trying to take my life and schedule into my own hands, Rover is the perfect way for pet owners to get thorough, compassionate care for their loved fur babies as well as help me attain more clients and doggo kisses for my already established pet sitting services. Looking forward to meeting and working with you!
“Lacey was great with Varney, taking him out as far as he needed to go to do his business. She also let him sniff and chew sticks which is part of his routine.”

About: I love dogs! I’ve always loved them. When i got my first dog at 8 I was terrified. I would scream and jump on the toilet. She wasn’t even the size of my backpack lol. As the years went on I grew not only a pet but a sister! She was there for me even when i didn’t think i needed her. I want to give your pet the same love I gave to her! Right now i have a mini golden doodle. She is a very special dog lol. She gets on my nerves but i wouldn’t trade her for anything. She’s always doing different things to keep me on my toes. I would make sure that your dog is properly cared for. Whether that is playing fetch with them or taking them for a walk. I live in an apartment that has a huge field. They will get the proper exercise for sure. I love to run with them.

About: Local Troy pet-lover who is re-entering the petcare field after a few years off due to work and caring for my children. I am currently only open to cat sitting, as that is all my schedule allows. I have cared for many pets over the years. I am an animal lover through and through. I have cared for dogs, cats, parrots, fish and even snakes! I managed a dog daycare for 5 years, worked at a dog rescue for 2 years, and have volunteered at a dog rescue for over 10 years. I walked dogs and cat-sat for 3 years during law school and have pet sat for as long as I can remember. I had a robust clientele with dogs of all breeds, personalities, and needs. I can provide references upon request. I have a kitten of my own and had my precious cat Pumpkin for 10 years before he passed away last year. For dog walks, I am free morning to mid afternoon. I am free to visit your kitty early morning, afternoons, and evenings. I am happy to visit once or twice a day, even 3x if your cat needs medication or extra human attention. I care for pets as if they are my own and I am very cognizant of each individual pets needs and always follow their family's instructions to a t.
About: I am the owner of a Frenchie named Frankie. Before I got Frankie, I joined rover to get my pup fill in. Now, I do it so Frankie has someone to play with! I’ve also previously used Rover with Frankie when I traveled so I know how important a trustworthy and loving sitter is. My house that has a fenced in yard so there is plenty of space available for your pup! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me! I’m currently working from home as well, so my availability is pretty open and I have lots of time to spend with your pet. Frankie and I look forward to seeing you soon! I have been working from home since the beginning of COVID so I am pretty available. Occasionally I will travel and will be unavailable, but I will be very upfront about my plans. I keep a close eye on the pups, even though I have a fenced in yard. As a frenchie owner, I am always cautious with overheating and any signs of medical issues. I typically only accept one booking at a time for safety reasons, unless it is with one of my regular clients. However, if there were to be overlap, I contact both owners to ensure they are comfortable with it prior to accepting the booking.
“Vanessa kept her word and showed up on the days contracted for allowing me to go out of town on a business trip. Both my mother and my dog (Coco) were pleased with her. I hope she is available again in the future.”

“Anna is prompt and reliable! I have an energetic puppy who needs exercise and I feel so relieved knowing she had a fun walk and a chance to go potty while I’m at work. Anna always keeps me updated with pictures and notes from the walk, rain or shine. I know she’s in safe hands!”

“Hannah walked my dog daily for two weeks and was great! She was always prompt and consistently completed the Rover card, which I appreciated—it was such a nice pick-me-up to see a picture of him during a long shift. I would definitely use her again!”
