About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages over the past 45 years from my poodle mix, Brutus, to my most beloved black lab, Gracie Ann. Currently, my Siberian cat, Jimmy, seems to be raising me! I spend time loving my grand-dogs and grand-cat as well. I was trained as a Capital Area Humane Society dog walker. I do find a special place in my heart for the senior pet. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I do volunteer work, dabble in some hobbies but there is still plenty of time available to take a walk or drop in and make sure your pet is safe. Even an overnight is possible. Due to apartment living, I would need to take care of pets in your home. I am available during the week and some weekends. I’m both an early riser and end the night after the evening news. All of my pets have been considered part of my family and they get the best of my love, including good food, vet care and are usually “spoiled rotten”. BUT, I am respectful of owners’ living space and requests. I am very organized and will provide safe and loving care. My prices are flexible as we all are on a budget yet we want the best care for our 4 legged family members. I promise to care for your children just like my own.

About: I love dogs! I’ve always loved them. When i got my first dog at 8 I was terrified. I would scream and jump on the toilet. She wasn’t even the size of my backpack lol. As the years went on I grew not only a pet but a sister! She was there for me even when i didn’t think i needed her. I want to give your pet the same love I gave to her! Right now i have a mini golden doodle. She is a very special dog lol. She gets on my nerves but i wouldn’t trade her for anything. She’s always doing different things to keep me on my toes. I would make sure that your dog is properly cared for. Whether that is playing fetch with them or taking them for a walk. I live in an apartment that has a huge field. They will get the proper exercise for sure. I love to run with them.

About: I'm new to pet sitting but not new to loving dogs and cats! I have 3 fur babies (pups). Dora, Rosie, and GG and they are my world along with my husband of course! 😊 I am also a Board of Trustee member for Columbus Humane as I am deeply passionate about animal welfare. I go to the gym 3 days a week around noon for an hour. Otherwise, I have lots of availability. As a dog mom who is super protective of my pups ever getting out of our yard, I will ensure I follow all instructions to make sure your pet is safe at all times. All 3 of my pups have their own needs as they are all seniors so I'm comfortable with special diets, medication, or any other needs your pet may have.

I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, and following each pet’s individual routine. I’ll treat your space with respect, clean up after your pet, and make sure everything is left the way I found it. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention while you’re away.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I recently moved to Ohio and really miss having dogs. I would love to care and play with them whenever I have free time. I love all kinds of animals and i'm very gentle with them. I have a huge heart for dogs and cats. I enjoyed walking and playing with my dogs growing up. I have worked with dogs that have high anxiety so I know how to calm them down in stressful situations. I also take their safety every serious and would care for them like my own pets. About: I have been around and had cats and dogs all my life. In the past 5 years I’ve learned even more since having a German Shepherd in my life 😂😍. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 7 ferrets. I spoil them and love on all of them. I have trained my dogs to not jump on people, sit and stay. A few of my ferrets let me potty train them lol. I just left my career in corrections to be a part time nanny and pet sitter. I have commitments at various times on different days but have breaks in between and no on-going commitments in the evenings or weekends. My pet first aid/cpr certification is through the Red Cross. N/A. My services will be drop in and walks. If it was ever necessary for a dog to come to my home I have a fenced in back yard. 6 foot privacy fence.

About: Ever since I was young, I have loved to care for animals. When I was little, I started out pet-sitting and house-sitting for several of the people in our neighborhood, as well as family friends. Once I got older, my family started fostering pets through our local shelter. Being the animal lover of the family, I absolutely wanted to do most of the work. Throughout the years, I took care of dozens of puppies and kittens, all with their own different needs. It was hard to say goodbye, but my heart soared knowing they were going to make excellent pets for people. Eventually, I started working as an animal care assistant at a local veterinary hospital where I was in charge of the boarding facility. This clinic prided itself on staying fear free, so I quickly learned how to read body language and what to do for pets that were feeling a bit anxious being away from home. I ensured each pet was properly fed according to their routine, got their medications if they took any (oral, topical, injectable, etc.), and got enough stimulation/play while in our care. Upon moving to Columbus, I found myself working as a veterinary assistant where I have gotten to learn the more medical side of things. This is where I am now! Still practicing fear free care, and learning new things every day! I typically work 4 days out of the week, each week varying from the next. On days where I would have to be at my day job, pets would be cared for in the morning before I leave as well as the afternoon/evening once I am off. I have no routine commitments otherwise. I believe the best way to keep your pet as stress-free as possible, is to try to keep their routine as similar to how it is when you are home as I am able to. If there is anything in particular that needs done, or that you and your pet typically do on a daily basis, that is what I will strive to do!
