About: I'm new to pet sitting but not new to loving dogs and cats! I have 3 fur babies (pups). Dora, Rosie, and GG and they are my world along with my husband of course! 😊 I am also a Board of Trustee member for Columbus Humane as I am deeply passionate about animal welfare. I go to the gym 3 days a week around noon for an hour. Otherwise, I have lots of availability. As a dog mom who is super protective of my pups ever getting out of our yard, I will ensure I follow all instructions to make sure your pet is safe at all times. All 3 of my pups have their own needs as they are all seniors so I'm comfortable with special diets, medication, or any other needs your pet may have.
About: I’ve pet sat for friends of friends and neighbors in KY for a few years and hope to do the same here. I love taking care of animals, I’ve had a few over the years including 2 dogs, 3 cats and a snake. I’ve been lucky enough to raise some of them from birth. On Wednesday to Friday the pets will have my undivided attention if needs be. I get off work at about 3 and still have all day to you pet. I am also fully flexible if plans change or if something comes up. I have stopped cat fights and created a Great Dane with little to no issues. Every dogs has his day. About: I have lived with 2 golden retrievers since I was born, one male and one female. Both were large dogs and full of energy. I have also looked after neighbor's dogs of all breeds and sizes. About: Ever since I was young, I have loved to care for animals. When I was little, I started out pet-sitting and house-sitting for several of the people in our neighborhood, as well as family friends. Once I got older, my family started fostering pets through our local shelter. Being the animal lover of the family, I absolutely wanted to do most of the work. Throughout the years, I took care of dozens of puppies and kittens, all with their own different needs. It was hard to say goodbye, but my heart soared knowing they were going to make excellent pets for people. Eventually, I started working as an animal care assistant at a local veterinary hospital where I was in charge of the boarding facility. This clinic prided itself on staying fear free, so I quickly learned how to read body language and what to do for pets that were feeling a bit anxious being away from home. I ensured each pet was properly fed according to their routine, got their medications if they took any (oral, topical, injectable, etc.), and got enough stimulation/play while in our care. Upon moving to Columbus, I found myself working as a veterinary assistant where I have gotten to learn the more medical side of things. This is where I am now! Still practicing fear free care, and learning new things every day! I typically work 4 days out of the week, each week varying from the next. On days where I would have to be at my day job, pets would be cared for in the morning before I leave as well as the afternoon/evening once I am off. I have no routine commitments otherwise. I believe the best way to keep your pet as stress-free as possible, is to try to keep their routine as similar to how it is when you are home as I am able to. If there is anything in particular that needs done, or that you and your pet typically do on a daily basis, that is what I will strive to do!
About: I love dogs! I’ve always loved them. When i got my first dog at 8 I was terrified. I would scream and jump on the toilet. She wasn’t even the size of my backpack lol. As the years went on I grew not only a pet but a sister! She was there for me even when i didn’t think i needed her. I want to give your pet the same love I gave to her! Right now i have a mini golden doodle. She is a very special dog lol. She gets on my nerves but i wouldn’t trade her for anything. She’s always doing different things to keep me on my toes. I would make sure that your dog is properly cared for. Whether that is playing fetch with them or taking them for a walk. I live in an apartment that has a huge field. They will get the proper exercise for sure. I love to run with them.
