About: Animals have been my passion ever since I was little, I always knew I wanted to work with animals when I grew up and ive owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, and turtles. I spent lots of time as a kid taking care of my own pets as well as family and friends. When I was 14 I began volunteering at non-profit animal shelters and when I was old enough I got a job working as a kennel attendant at an animal hospital where I oversaw dogs, cats, and birds and handled their food and medications. I also lived in Utah for a year where I worked for an independently owned pet care company that offered services for cats, dogs, birds, and more! I absolutely adore animals, and id love to give your fur and feather babies the care they deserve I am currently available mon-sun from 9:00am - 7:00pm with flexibility depending on the day. I want to put as much time as possible into this! I am very respectful and have in-home pet care experience. I like to leave a home nicer than i found it. I make sure to give your pet the full attention they deserve and go above and beyond
“Vanessa has been our dog walker for almost a year. She is professional, communicate & make sure your energetic pup gets the exercise he needs! I very highly recommend Vanessa for any of your pets needs!”

About: Hi, I’m Nicole – dog mom, dog lover, and Duke’s human. We’d love to welcome your pup into our home. I’ve been pet sitting for over 20 years and have cared for hundreds of dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Your dog is in experienced hands. I know firsthand how stressful it is to find a sitter you can trust – we’ve moved around a lot over the years, caring for dogs across the country and around the world, and we know how hard it is to rebuild that trust with someone new every time. When you book with me, that search is over. Every dog in our care is treated like family, full stop. Our home comes with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can go outside whenever they want – no scheduling, no waiting. Duke is a small guy who grew up around big dogs, so he’s relaxed and unbothered by dogs of any size. He’s great company and an easy housemate for visiting pups. I work remotely, which means your dog gets real attention throughout the day – walks, playtime, and plenty of downtime together. Big or small, shy or social – we’re happy to have them. We can’t wait to meet your pup. Nicole and Duke 🐾 Pet care is woven into my daily life! I work remotely, so I'm home most of the time with my dog, Duke. Our day naturally includes walks, playtime, cuddle breaks, and lots of attention. Adding another dog or two just makes our days even better — more walks, more belly rubs, more joy! Caring for pets isn’t an "extra" task for me — it’s part of how I live every day, with lots of love, care, and companionship. 🐾 In my home, pets are treated just like family! They have free roam of the house, a large fenced backyard to play in, and lots of love and attention. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible — whether that's meal schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and at home, and I always tailor my care to their unique personality and needs. Your pup will get plenty of affection, exercise, and of course — treats (if allowed)! 🐶❤️
About: Currently not employed anywhere else so your pet will receive my full time and attention. I love being outside so if walks for your pooch are required, rest easy knowing they will be plenty exercised while you’re away. I’ve had experience with big dogs and small, senior dogs and puppies, adult cats and kittens. I have experience clipping nails and claws and have no problem giving baths if needed. Currently unemployed so my routine is wide open to add a few furry clients. I also have a helper so if more assistance is needed for the animals, I’m capable of handling it Willing to be in the home the entire booked stay. Will follow the feeding and exercise schedule left for me by the owners. Keep pets comfortable and at ease

About: I love animals and have grown up around them my whole life. Not only did I spend a lot of time with my own dogs and cats I also used to volunteer at an animal shelter where I took care of and cleaned up for cats and dogs. I also took care of my dogs while they were injured and gave them medicine and baths when their wounds needed cleaned. I currently am working an overnight job and trying to save up for my next year of college and I have a lot of free time during the day. I offer dog and cat sitting in the owners home to ensure your pet stays comfortable. I am respectful of your space and I am mindful of all your household rules.
About: I have 2 beautiful dogs. I have been taking care of dogs for over seven years now. I have personally trained my own dogs and their are both well behaved boys! Hi there! 🐾 I’m excited to offer reliable, compassionate pet care services designed to keep your furry family members happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away. I currently provide drop-in visits and dog walking services every day except Tuesday, as well as doggy daycare on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. As a full-time nursing student, I’ve developed strong skills in responsibility, attentiveness, and care. My background in healthcare means I’m comfortable following detailed instructions, recognizing changes in behavior, and responding calmly in unexpected situations. While I may not have formal veterinary training, I bring a nurturing, detail-oriented approach that translates naturally into high-quality pet care. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet in someone else’s hands, and I take that responsibility seriously. My schedule is structured but flexible within my available days. Because I am in school full-time, I carefully plan my availability to ensure I can dedicate quality time and focused attention to each pet I care for. I do not rush visits—I prioritize meaningful interaction so your pet feels comfortable and cared for, not just “checked on.” Whether you need a quick drop-in, a refreshing walk, or a full day of care, I’m here to help make your life easier and your pet’s day brighter. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companion! 🐶💛 I can care for your fur babies in any environment. In my home I have a fenced in backyard where your baby can run free. I treat animals like humans and they are all welcomed on the furniture! I try to stay fairly active so I can take your dog on short jogs or long walks.
“Taylor has been very helpful. She has come and walked our very energetic dog on a weekly basis and I have had 0 difficulties getting ahold of her or getting feedback about how everything went. She is very sweet and a great choice for your pet!”

“Savannah did a great job with my dog. She showed up on time, walked her for the full 30 mins, made sure she had water, and left informative comments/pictures for me to review. I definitely want to book her again in the future!”

About: I have been around and had cats and dogs all my life. In the past 5 years I’ve learned even more since having a German Shepherd in my life 😂😍. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 7 ferrets. I spoil them and love on all of them. I have trained my dogs to not jump on people, sit and stay. A few of my ferrets let me potty train them lol. I just left my career in corrections to be a part time nanny and pet sitter. I have commitments at various times on different days but have breaks in between and no on-going commitments in the evenings or weekends. My pet first aid/cpr certification is through the Red Cross. N/A. My services will be drop in and walks. If it was ever necessary for a dog to come to my home I have a fenced in back yard. 6 foot privacy fence.
“Christine is a gem! My dog loves her and she is sweet, super responsive, and reliable. She takes lots of pictures and always makes me feel like my furry baby is in good hands.”

About: Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets for the last 25 years. Not only do I care for other's fur babies but I am a fur mama myself. I have cared for young animals and seniors and have experience giving medication if needed. My schedule is very flexible. I am typically available any day of the week and I am also open to early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. I know what it is like to love a pet, so I know how important it is to make sure that they are in safe and trusting hands. I will follow any rules you have in place in your home.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 11. From running over to let out the neighbor’s dog, to pet sitting for friends & family members while they’re on vacation. I grew up in a home with two dogs, both of which I’ve helped care for and go out of my way to spoil with love. Fun fact: I’ve also raised and cared for goats, rabbits, cats, turtles, frogs, and fish. I am a full-time student, but I would love to care for (& walk!) your furry companion(s) in my spare time. I’m a firm believer that the best therapists have wagging tails! I recently adopted a German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever and I can assure you that I will care for your pet with the same enthusiasm and warmth as I do her.
About: Owned dogs for majority of my life, a couple rescues and one that the owner could no longer care for. Get along with every dog I have met. Willing to drive them to different locations for walks and to get them out of the house. Very trustworthy with people, animals, and homes. Have experience walking animals and house-sitting. Want to help people with their pets to ensure everyone is happy and healthy. I feel dogs deserve so much in life and my hope is that I can repay them for what they have given me by making sure they are happy. Also want to help their owners because I remember how stressful it was when I would go on vacations or even short trips and worrying about our dogs and if they would be cared for.
About: I have had pets ever since I was young and my husband has also had animals since he was younger as well. We have lots of experience taking care of many pets at a time since we have 4! They will be treated exactly like our pets! Family, I treat my pets like they are my children. I am self employed so I work whenever I need to work. If I need to be home I can stay home it’s all based on my animals needs and yours too! Pets are always allowed on furniture and beds. In fact, all 4 of my pets sleep in bed with me, so yours is welcome to do the same! My house has a fenced in backyard with lots of room to play. I also take my dogs out for 3-4 long walks a day to keep them happy.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
