I have been surrounded by animals since I was an infant and I have been taking care of animals since I was just a young kid. From finding and rehabbing wild birds and turtles (which my mother was not thrilled about 😂) to owning dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters and fish, I’ve yet to find an animal that I don’t love. I lost my Chesapeake bay retriever I had for 12 years less than a year ago, so senior dogs and or medication administrations don’t scare me off. With that being said I was unable to have an empty house for long, as my fiancé and I adopted an 8 week old border collie mix about 4 months later.

I work full time as a nurse practitioner where I work three 12 hour shifts a week, but have come to Rover looking for a way to spend some of my off days with adorable puppers. This leaves four days a week completely open for all your dog walking or pet sitting needs.

I have a fenced in yard and one friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I have a large crate available and can easily crate your dog if requested

A typical day
Having a border collie puppy I’m used to facilitating longer walks to help wear out our high energy friends. We routinely walk 3 miles around the neighborhood and to the park, but there is no walk too short for our older friends. Also, with the fenced in backyard there is plenty of availability for your pupper to sit outside and squirrel watch if activity isn’t so much their thing.
