“This was our first time ever booking a rover or boarding for our dog Jersi and Emily made it a great experience! She was very communicative, shared lots of pictures of Jersi, and kept us updated on how she was doing. We are so thankful that Jersi was left in such good care with Emily and a bonus that Emily’s own fur baby was there to play with Jersi during her stay. We 100% recommend Emily and will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“10/10 recommend Kathy to anyone looking for a trustworthy fur baby sitter. Lucy highly enjoyed her time at her house and we enjoyed the daily updates and pictures. I will be bringing her back whenever we have the need for an overnight stay!”

“Our dogs were so well cared for by Sara. We are not used to leaving our pets any place. Finding her on Rover was such a relief and proved to be the loving environment we hoped for. Greatly caring of animals and helps them adjust to being away from home. Great job. great choice.”

“Maia took wonderful care of Lady while we were away. She kept us updated, treated her like family, and we came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Sally you are the best with care of my pups! They are eager to enter your home, and clearly enjoyed your company and social time! They come back tired, loving your yard and in great health. Thank you so much! JO”

“We had a last minute need for a dog sitter and Kelsey was incredibly accommodating and willing to help watch out pup. She was considerate, sent updates and pictures, and was sure to check in on any needs our dog may need. Highly highly recommended!”

“Great with communication, very quick to respond. She was able to accommodate on a rather sudden request and made the pickup and drop off process super easy. Sent several photos and updates. Milo had a great time at her house, would definitely recommend and request her again!”

“This stay for Lily was great and Cindy and her family are great and our dog loves being with them. We will definitely have Lily stay there again.”

“Wrigley has stayed with Michelle and Nicholas twice and both times have went great! They are very easy to work with and have a great home for a pet toy stay in.”

“Bethany was awesome! Such great communication and very sweet to our Duke, taking care of him for 10 days! The pictures said it all, he looked so happy! Thanks again 😊”

“Dawn made our Cavapoo’s first stay away from family wonderful! She was very accommodating and was patient with our dog, Lily, as she got settled in. Dawn was very good about sending updates which kept my mind at ease. We would definitely book with her again in the future! Thanks, Dawn!”

“Will and Bibiana were awesome. Responsive, kind, and sent photos while we were apart from our dog. Luna was clearly relaxed and well attended to in their home.”

“Jasmine was amazing with my dog Kobe! She kept me up to date sending pics and informing me of his stay which made me felt relieved he was in great care. I totally plan on boarding my pup with her and her family again on future trips!”

“Ellen was fabulous! She kept me updated with photos and messages each day, and I came home to a very happy dog. He sometimes seems a bit stressed out after I’ve been away, but not with Ellen. He was obviously in very good hands with her. I’m grateful for her care and attention. I highly recommend!”

“Rachel is a very caring sitter. Our two dogs were very nervous with their first time away from us and had multiple accidents, and she handled it kindly. She’s an awesome option and an avid pet lover.”

“Karl is an awesome sitter! You can really tell that you truly enjoys having dogs around. Every time we get to Karl’s, Zhuri sprints up to his house. We feel very comfortable leaving our dog with him and recommend him to anyone who needs a sitter!”

About: Hi! My name is Grace! I am first year veterinary student at OSU. I previously at The College of Charleston in South Carolina where I majored in marine biology and worked as a veterinarian technician at a small animal clinic down there. I have had a variety of animals growing up including dogs, cats, horses, goats and chickens. I currently have two cats of my own named Goose & Duck. I have been on Rover almost 7 years now and would love to help out with your animals. It’s a great study break for me and keeps me active! I’m eager to help out with cats and dogs of all sizes. Additionally, due to my vet tech experience, I am happy to trim nails, express glands, clean ears, etc in the comfort of your own home! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my services. I look forward to meeting lots of cute and furry friends soon! I have a very flexible routine that I can easily fit your pet into! Although I am a full-time veterinary student, I feel as if that helps me manage my time even better than if I was not! I do my best to keep your pet in their normal routine to keep them happy and comfortable while you are away! This includes a normal feeding schedule and plenty of time outside!
“Moose loved staying with Monica and her pets. Monica was super friendly, responsive and sent a ton of cute pics of our Lab puppy playing with her animals. We will definitely book again!”

“My cocker spaniel was very well cared for by Zach. They have a great fenced in backyard which she enjoyed and lots of toys. I was very happy with the daily pictures and videos. Would definitely book with them again!”

“WOW!! I dont even know where to begin. As a first time user of Rover, I was unsure how it would go, and Joe exceeded every expectation I had. He was kind, responsive, and made all of us feel so comfortable throughout the process. Manny looked right at home in all of the pictures we sent and I’m pretty sure he would have stayed with Joe indefinitely if we let him 😂 Thank you Joe for an amazing experience and peace of mind while we were on our trip!!!”

Jasmine stayed with Brittany last weekend.. Brittany and family treated Jasmine as their own.. Jasmine gets really anxious with thunderstorms, Brittany did everything possible to comfort Jasmine and ensure she was not anxious.. I’m definitely going to have Brittany take care of Jasmine for all my future requirements..
Sorillian and her family treated our dog, Bo like he had always been part of her family- how do I know? Everyday she would send a photo of Bo along with a little message and he is literally smiling! I would recommend Sorillian to anyone wanting extra special care for their pets. 🐕

Kristy was a godsend and helped us whilst we were on vacation out of the country and needed to find a new home for our dog. Our dog was happy with her and so we were able to enjoy our vacation too. We picked him up happy! Thank you so much Kristy, definitely will be using her help again!
Cameo is friendly and welcoming. She took us on short notice, the day before we needed to leave our dog with her — after a visit to her home to make sure it would be a good fit for Harley our dog. Her own dog is very easy-going and her home and backyard are well-suited for caring for dogs. The backyard is fenced in and big enough for a dog to run around and explore. There are plenty of places in her home for a dog to get comfortable too. Our beagle-mix is just under 40 lbs. Harley is a senior. We had a number of instructions when it came to meals, food restrictions, and a pain pill. Cameo didn’t seem to mind at all. We received a photo twice a day on most days. Harley seemed to miss his caretaker and his new dog friend when we got home. (He doesn’t normally get a lot of time with other dogs.)

Paula did a wonderful job taking care of Millie! She was so organized and friendly, and Millie definitely had a great time. Paula also made herself available at the last minute -- an hour and a half before we needed her. We couldn't have done our fun, last-minute excursion to Columbus without her.

Our dog Apollo has been staying with Liz Marie and her family every time we’ve traveled for the past year or so, including a recent 3 week trip. Having peace of mind that he was being taken care of by people who love him while we were oceans away meant so much to us, and we love getting regular updates and photos. We especially appreciate Liz Marie’s responsiveness and flexibility with pick up and drop off times and her dedication with the various medications and creams Apollo has needed. Thank you again for welcoming Apollo into your family!

Toby had a fantastic stay with Shannon! We had to reschedule a returning flight and Shannon was flexible and helped accommodate an additional two nights. He was well cared for and got along with their dog and kids well. We received a number of adorable photos. We would absolutely book with Shannon again. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
