“Erica was a great sitter for our little one. Easy to talk to and plan things with. Sent pictures and videos of our dog to us everyday. Our dog is a cuddler at night and she went out of her way to make sure our dog was cuddled right next to her or her husband while they slept. Would recommend!”
“Maleah and her son did a wonderful job caring for our dog Sweetie. Sent us updates and pictures once a day. She offered to send us more if we would like but told her once a day would be fine. Sweetie loved playing fetch and having free range with her fenced in yard as she has never had a fenced yard to roam free in. They would be our 1st choice when we need someone to care for her again. Thank you Maleah for caring for her like she was your family.”
“Houix If this rover is amazing, I mean from the start to the fitness very communicative and also she even has the option to even pick your dog up if you’re not able to have transportation. She loves dogs and she was sending you videos and pictures throughout the day, of her interacting and playing with your dog. Along with her other dog she has herself. my flight even got delayed, so I had to extend my reservation one more day, and she had no problem with allowing lyrics to stay an extra day. I highly recommend having her watch or board your dog whenever you need somebody to help with watching your dog.”

“I had an emergency while traveling and my return trip was delayed. When you're handling severe weather and major delays, the last thing you want to worry about is whether your pet can be cared for. Lauren was very communicative and I knew my boy was safe and sound while I was scrambling to get home. A+++”

“I can't say enough wonderful things about Fernanda & Bruno. They kept us updated with text and pictures throughout our puppy's stay with them. I highly recommend and trust them to take care of our fur baby and will definitely request their services when I need a pet sitter. Thank you Fernanda and Bruno for giving our baby so much love and attention.”

“Our dog, Mila, loved her stay with Mia! We were able to get daily updates while away and know Mila was well cared for. We will definitely use Mia again to take care of our little pup!”

“Liliana did an amazing job taking care of our 9 year old dog! She kept us updated with how Molly was doing and sent us daily photos. We will definitely be booking again with her in the future!”

“Tyra took great care of Rocky! She was always responsive, kept me updated throughout his stay, and regularly sent photos and videos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Rocky had a great time playing with her dogs and came home happy and relaxed. It was clear that he was well cared for and got plenty of attention. I would definitely book with Tyra again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Camille and Josh made Waffles feel like part of the family immediately when he arrived. All of their kiddos were amazing with our dog who usually isn’t around kids and he loved hanging out with them all day. We would definitely book them again!”

“Incredibly thoughtful and personal communicators. Most of all, our dog loves being with Michelle, Nicholas, and their dog Waffles. We feel extremely comfortable.”

“My dog loves to visit Carissa and her home! He is very well cared for and she and her husband are great communicators, super easy to work with and accommodating. Highly recommend!”

“Thomas did a wonderful job watching our yellow lab while we were away for a few days. He’s very responsible and kept us updated with daily reports and photos. He was very attentive and took her on several walks during the day. I highly recommend Thomas and will definitely use him again.”

“Corey did amazing watching my little man. He was able to accommodate us with a last minute request and was very communicative throughout my pups stay at his place. He sent such cute pictures that eased my mind showing my baby was clearly cared for and happy. He stuck to my elderly dogs medicine schedule and I couldn't be happier. Will book again!”

“Mary did a great job with sending daily updates and following my thorough instructions for my senior dog with cancer. He seemed to get lots of positive stimulation with her and her dogs. Would definitely book again.”

“I am a repeat customer and have boarded my goldendoodle with Justin several times. He is dependable and quick to reply. My puppy loves staying with Justin and his family. Thank you Justin for taking amazing care of my baby when I am away.”

About: I’ve had many different types of dogs throughout my life. More recently I’ve helped care for and watch friends and family members pets while away. I have bathed and groomed my own dog for the last 5+ years. We love long walks, playtime, and most of all the zoomies. My daughter also loves to snuggle and play with any dog that will have her! I currently work full-time Monday-Friday, but I am able to take pets into the office with me any day but weekend stays are preferred. Animals make me happy and any day is better with a dog friend around! I have a flexible schedule and am excited to help care for your pet! I have a large unfenced side yard for pets to explore and potty. A pet friendly neighborhood where lots of dogs are walked at all times of the day. Your pets have free range to my condo minus the basement and are welcome to snuggle up on the couch or bed!
“We love Anjanette! She is our go-to sitter for whenever we are away. Milo is always excited to be with Anjanette and we know he will be treated as her family dog with love and care”

“Deanna provided such a great experience for my fur baby. She was very attentive to her and made her feel right at home. Deanna kept me informed of her progress and provided me with pictures and videos throughout her stay. Deanna’s dogs are very social and well behaved and welcomed my dog into their little pack. I could tell my Sofee had the time of her life. I would definitely rebook with Deanna.”

“Malerie & Blake did such a great job with my puppy! They kept me updated every day with pictures and messages. I will 100% be using them again and suggest them to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy sitter!! Thank you both so much!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Worthington
Our experience was great with Miss Erika and family. Daily progress reports and pics were sent. They're very empathetic and experienced sitters that even bathed Chop upon request. For the price, I don't know any sitters could be any more pleased with. Id recommend Miss Erika and company to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable sitter. Juan.

Another great stay!! Lauren was the best sitter we could ask for. Yogi was so excited when we pulled up so you can tell he has fun during his stays. Lauren originally wasnt going to be able to keep him but a slight pickup time adjustment and she was willing to help us out without much advance notice. Thank you so much!

Carly and Alexxa watched our dog Oliver for our wedding, and we could not be happier with how it went! We have a pretty shy, timid dog that usually takes awhile to warm up to people, but they made him feel comfortable right away and it looked like he was having the best time!! They were INCREDIBLE about sending pictures, and even dressed him up with a note to wish us a happy wedding day :) 100000/10 recommend! Thank you again!

Abbie was the best! We booked her to stay at our house from Friday to Friday and throughout the stay was very communicative, sent lots of photos throughout the stay, gave our dog his meds, and we could tell our dog was happy when we got home. On days she had to work during our dog’s regular potty breaks, she not only let us know but offered someone who could help with those potty break times (our neighbors came a couple times instead but we sincerely appreciated that she had those times covered). When our flight home was cancelled and we had to take 3 flights (through 3 countries) home, she was ready to stay another night just in case and stayed super late to make sure Paul was taken care of. Could not recommend her more!

Lindsey was excellent! She sent me photos daily of my Leo as well as descriptions of his daily activities! She walked him daily and since she also has a dog , leo had a playmate; which he loves! I definitely will book with her again in the future! Also , I know for some owners , like myself, cleanliness is important and her home was very clean and tidy!

Corey did amazing watching my little man. He was able to accommodate us with a last minute request and was very communicative throughout my pups stay at his place. He sent such cute pictures that eased my mind showing my baby was clearly cared for and happy. He stuck to my elderly dogs medicine schedule and I couldn't be happier. Will book again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
