“Corey did amazing watching my little man. He was able to accommodate us with a last minute request and was very communicative throughout my pups stay at his place. He sent such cute pictures that eased my mind showing my baby was clearly cared for and happy. He stuck to my elderly dogs medicine schedule and I couldn't be happier. Will book again!”

“Dannell was great with Louie! It’s always nerve wracking leaving him for several days, but Dannell and Cynthia were wonderful with him and gave him a great groom to boot. Louie had a blast and we’ll definitely be booking with Dannell again!”

“She was great! Took awesome care of our dogs despite one of them having severe separation anxiety! Wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a caring sitter.”

“Lauren is absolutely WONDERFUL! She took great care of our Cleo. We loved the updates and photos. Clearly, Cleo had a blast. This was our family's first time using Rover. Lauren made the process delightful and easy. I highly recommend her.”

“Kevin is wonderful. He kept us updated daily with pictures and notes. Our dogs seemed so comfortable with him. He walked them daily. We felt like he really enjoyed being with our dogs. Definitely recommend Kevin, we wouldn’t even think of using anyone else after our great experience with him taking care of our dogs.”

About: I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and can't imagine my life without them. I recently adopted a puppy and have gone through all of the stages of puppy training! I am a young professional who works from home most of the week. My dog and I enjoy long daily walks and hikes on the weekends! While I work from home a majority of the time, if I have to leave I keep my dog in my bedroom where he can enjoy sleeping in AC. Sometimes with multiple dogs, I find it best to utilize crates if they are trained.
“Liliana did an amazing job taking care of our 9 year old dog! She kept us updated with how Molly was doing and sent us daily photos. We will definitely be booking again with her in the future!”

“My pup and I had an excellent experience with Nancy and Christopher! Being a puppy, I wasn;t sure how my guy was going to do. They took him on daily walks, played with him in the backyard, and let him snuggle with them in the evenings. Nancy and Christopher even ran out and picked up more dog food when they realized I had not given them enough! They also shared several photos and updates while I was away. I feel very comfortable recommending Nancy and Christopher, though I don't want them to become so popular that there will be no availability for me!”

“I felt very confident leaving Bella with Leslie. She seemed quite knowledgeable and took very good care of her. She sent lots of updates and pictures. I would definitely use Leslie again in the future for Bella!”
“Justin was amazing to work with, expressing great communication and care for my pup. I cannot recommend him and his son enough, they were the best option and I will definitely return!”

About: Hi, I’m Tyra! I provide a safe, structured, and attentive home environment where pets are treated like family. I focus on each dog’s comfort, routine, and individual needs to help them feel secure while you’re away. I have hands-on experience caring for both a high-energy Goldendoodle and a small Yorkie, giving me experience with a wide range of sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I pay close attention to behavior, body language, and routine so I can provide care that helps pets feel comfortable and settled in a new environment. In my home, pets receive: • Structured care and supervision • Playtime, enrichment, and safe outdoor breaks • A calm, clean, pet-friendly environment • Regular updates and photos for peace of mind My schedule allows me to provide morning, evening, and weekend care, with plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship outside of work hours. Dogs staying in my home should be comfortable being left alone for a standard workday if boarding occurs on weekdays. For the safety and well-being of all pets in my care, dogs must be able to coexist peacefully with other dogs or be comfortable with slow, structured introductions. Depending on a dog’s individual needs, I may not be the best fit for pets requiring constant supervision or extensive separation accommodations. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for, so you can feel confident while you’re away💛 Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I work full-time during the week, but I make pet care a priority before and after work and throughout the weekends. Dogs in my care receive plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship outside of work hours. I strive to keep their routines consistent and provide a safe, comfortable environment while their owners are away. Dogs staying in my home should be comfortable being left alone for a standard workday on weekdays. I focus on making pets feel comfortable, safe, and stress-free by maintaining their routine and providing attentive care. Whether a pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any specific preferences or needs. In my home, pets enjoy a clean, safe, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of love, attention, playtime, and opportunities to relax. I work full-time during the week, so dogs staying in my home should be comfortable being left alone for a standard workday. Outside of work hours, I prioritize exercise, companionship, enrichment, and maintaining a consistent routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both the pet and the home with respect. I aim to keep routines as normal as possible, provide reliable care, and help pets feel secure while their owners are away. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident and connected throughout their pet’s stay.
“Wrigley has stayed with Michelle and Nicholas twice and both times have went great! They are very easy to work with and have a great home for a pet toy stay in.”

“Ross and Oliver welcomed Luka into their home with open "paws". Luka seemed to have so much fun with Ross. Ross responded rapidly to any of our questions or concerns while we were away. We will definitely reach out to Ross in the future. Thanks, Ross and Ollie.”

“Camille is truly fantastic. She cares for our Sophie like she was her own pup. Don’t hesitate to use her service if your pup is the kid friendly type! Thanks Camille.”

“I cant recommend Erin enough, she is the best! When I got a new puppy I was a bit nervous about finding a sitter to continue with our routine and spend the extra time needed for a puppy, but Erin scheduled a meet & greet to learn all about Skye’s training and get to know us. Skye hit it off right away with Erin and her 2 dogs. I love that she sends updates and photos a couple of times a day so I know that she is having a blast and getting lots of attention while she’s away from home.”

Lindsey was excellent! She sent me photos daily of my Leo as well as descriptions of his daily activities! She walked him daily and since she also has a dog , leo had a playmate; which he loves! I definitely will book with her again in the future! Also , I know for some owners , like myself, cleanliness is important and her home was very clean and tidy!

Erika was such a great sitter!! She sent pictures and updates on my dog Kobe; she also stated my dog ate all his food multiple days which he typically doesn't do with other sitters. Overall, I came back to a healthy, happy pup and I'll definitely be using Erika and her family again.

Our dog Lilo just spent a week at her new favorite vacation destination! She had the very best time making new friends and relaxing. Communication was great while we were gone, we received updates and photos on a daily base. Dianna & Mackenzie are very accommodating and we‘ll be back for future boarding.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
