“Ann is clearly a dog lover. She and my Pudgie were a perfect match. She took her on walks, let her nap on the couch, and sent me daily updates with photos. Hoping she can keep Pudgie again.”

“We had a great experience with Ashley Communication was excellent throughout, and they were very patient and attentive with our dog. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We're very happy with the service and would definitely recommend!”

“Leslie was great with my dog during our 5 day vacation. My dog was not happy about being separated from his people and his home. He whined, paced and scratched at the doors the first night and Leslie even slept on the couch with him to help put him at ease. She let him acclimate at his own pace and was very patient. He did eventually settle in and start enjoying his time with her family. It was nice to know that he was in a safe and loving space while we were away and for that I am grateful. I would definitely recommend Leslie when it comes to caring for your furry family members.”

“Karl was such a great friend for Cosmo while I was out of town!! I got awesome pics of my pup each day and could tell he was having a BLAST!! Will definitely use again and recommend!!”

“Joe has quickly become our go to sitter! Hank was so excited to see him and Duke! As nervous dog parents we feel like we’re actually able to relax when we’re away as we know he’s in very good hands. Thanks again for the great care you provide!”

“Emily was great! This was our first time using a sitter instead of a boarding facility. She was quick to respond to messages and sent pictures. Our girl came home rested and happy instead of stressed out and exhausted from no sleep. Thank you!”

“Just like always, Tamisha did a wonderful job with Jackson. We left him longer than usual because we were out of the country and we had nothing to worry about while we were gone! She even bathed him for us before we picked him up!”

“12/10! She and her husband took in my zoo last minute, was super communicative and sensitive to any needs the had. My Newfie and English bully absolutely adores her golden and was even able to have a little birthday treat for her golden while there🤩 She is my go to now, 100%. Thanks for everything!”

“Max had a great time with Megan and Opey! We came in late in the evening, and Megan was willing to work with us on the drop off time. Very considerate, and kept us informed!”

“Taylor was absolutely amazing with Osa, I went from feeling scared of leaving Osa to feeling comfortable Osa was taken care of. Her response time was almost instant for the entirety of Osa's stay, and she was so flexible when I needed to add pick up and drop off for unexpected events! Taylor, thank you so much for making this one less thing for me to worry about during my travel!”

“Another great experience with John and Shannon! Our girl was so excited when I dropped her off! She had a great time playing with her previous friends and her new friends!”

About: Hi! My name is Grace! I am first year veterinary student at OSU. I previously at The College of Charleston in South Carolina where I majored in marine biology and worked as a veterinarian technician at a small animal clinic down there. I have had a variety of animals growing up including dogs, cats, horses, goats and chickens. I currently have two cats of my own named Goose & Duck. I have been on Rover almost 7 years now and would love to help out with your animals. It’s a great study break for me and keeps me active! I’m eager to help out with cats and dogs of all sizes. Additionally, due to my vet tech experience, I am happy to trim nails, express glands, clean ears, etc in the comfort of your own home! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my services. I look forward to meeting lots of cute and furry friends soon! I have a very flexible routine that I can easily fit your pet into! Although I am a full-time veterinary student, I feel as if that helps me manage my time even better than if I was not! I do my best to keep your pet in their normal routine to keep them happy and comfortable while you are away! This includes a normal feeding schedule and plenty of time outside!
“Oh my gosh. Alyssa took such good care of my Oakley boy. I usually am worried sick when I travel but I felt at ease knowing he was in such good hands. I already booked another stay!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Emily! She is so kind and responsive and took the best care of my dog Chip. I got multiple updates and pictures everyday. It was so reassuring knowing he was being loved and cared for. He had the best time with her and her dog Kove! I would absolutely have Chip stay with her again!”

“Izzy was amazing with Datsun! She sent us plenty of updates during Datsuns stay and it seemed like our dogs got along really well and had loads of play time. Izzy was also super easy to communicate with which I appreciate. Will definitely be using her in the future!”

“Ashley was great with Teddy! He’s only 5 months old so I was nervous to leave him overnight, but Ashley was really great in every way. She made sure to check his vax records which also made me feel more comfortable. He was very happy when I picked him up, enjoyed playing with the few other pups that’s were there and made new friends! Ashley sent me photos while I was gone and that made me feel more comfortable. She is super sweet and I will definitely use her again to watch my fur baby! ❤️”

“Enjoyable stay every time! My pom always come home calm and relaxed. Dawn is super friendly and professional. She goes the extra miles to make my time away worries free. Highly recommend!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Gahanna
Ellen and her family were amazing. They showered our dog with love, attention, care, and provided us with frequent picture updates. They made us feel at ease as we knew that Archie was going to be feeling right at home for the duration of his stay. She is the best and I would recommend her to anyone. We will boarding Archie there again!!!!!

My husband and I left our 2 year old lab with Brian for a week while we went on vacation. During that time we received daily updates with photos. Our dog enjoyed walks, playing with his own dog, and cuddle time. It was a relief to know our dog was having a vacation of his own.

Zachary was absolutely amazing with Coco! From the moment we dropped him off, we felt completely at ease. He provided consistent updates, photos, and made sure we knew Coco was comfortable and well cared for the entire time. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs he watches, and Coco came back happy and relaxed. Communication was great, and everything was handled professionally. Highly recommend Zachary to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitteR

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
