Dog Trainer (and sitting services)
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Jessica — a professional dog trainer with over 24 years of healthcare experience and formal education through CATCH Canine Trainers Academy. I offer more than basic pet sitting. My goal is to provide safe, structured, calm, and compassionate care for every dog I work with. I understand canine body language, decompression, leash manners, crate routines, reactivity, resource guarding, anxiety, and the importance of matching each dog’s needs instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m especially comfortable with dogs who need structure, patience, and clear communication. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, nervous, reactive, or still learning manners, I focus on creating a calm environment where they feel secure and understood. During visits, walks, or boarding-style care, I prioritize: • Safety and supervision • Calm handling and positive structure • Exercise appropriate to your dog’s needs • Reinforcing basic manners when appropriate • Respecting your dog’s routine • Clear communication with owners I have experience with dogs of many sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I also have my own dogs, so I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. Because I bring professional training experience to my care, my rates reflect the level of attention, knowledge, and responsibility I provide. I am not the cheapest option, and I don’t try to be — I aim to be the safest, most reliable, and most thoughtful option for owners who want their dog cared for like family. Please note: I do not offer discounted rates for last-minute bookings or cancellations. My time is reserved specifically for your pet, and I appreciate clients who respect that. I’d love to learn more about your dog’s personality, routine, triggers, and favorite things so I can make their time with me as safe, comfortable, and enriching as possible.
