“Victoria is amazing! Constant video updates and our puppy has never looked happier to have so many dogs and a puppy to play with and to be cuddled on the couch. He's also learning alot, thank you so much for being so kind, communicative, helpful, and a great host!”

“Love leaving Oliver over there! Always sends pictures which I always like knowing how he’s doing. He comes back happy and gets to play with his pup. So accommodating and nice. Can’t recommend enough”

“Emily responded quickly, sent pics of my boys playing in the yard. She said they didn't eat much the first day but that's to be expected because they get anxious being left behind. But having boarded my dog tigger before he's usually anxious for days after being picked up and didn't have that this time, so that tells me a lot. ”
“Kat was/is truly amazing with my Zara! I received updates daily by text and videos. I could tell Zara was treated like her own. Zara had so much fun I thought she wouldn’t want to comeback home.. lol 😂. Thanks again for your kindness, professionalism, and expertise! Zara will be back as long as you will have her❤️❤️ Thanks again!”

“Sean took excellent care of my 10 month old lab for 9 days. I enjoyed the daily photos or video and his comments of how he was doing. Sean was always available for any questions or concerns I had doing his stay. I also appreciated Sean’s insight on raising a puppy which was most helpful. My pup had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back.”

“Abby & Stephen did an amazing job with our energetic golden! My husband & I were thrilled to meet his new playmate, Winnie too! What a treat! We received pics & updates during his stay and felt so at ease the entire time! We brought home a very happy + tired pup! Highly recommend!”

“We have a very high energy dog (a new rescue) and Clayton did a great job keeping her entertained/busy. She had lots of other dogs to play with and received lots of love/enrichment.”

“Emily and her family were amazing. She was very attentive to my older dog and was great with giving me updates and pictures. He even got to meet goats!!! Thank you so much Emily I will definitely use you again. I highly recommend”

“Michelle and Justin were awesome in taking care of Kali. Communication was perfect and they were very friendly and understanding. Kali always had a smile on her face in the pictures! Thanks so much! 10/10 recommend and will book with again ^_^”

“We were really happy with Micele boarding our Leo and will definitely look forward in future dog boarding. Michele is very flexible in regards to pick up and drop off and we noticed she loves animals and took really good care of Leo!”

“I can’t recommend Kyra enough as a dog sitter! She was absolutely incredible—professional, friendly, and kind. She took amazing care of my dogs and made the whole experience stress-free. Kyra was also extremely communicative, checking in with me daily and providing updates. Her attention to detail and genuine care for my pet made a huge difference. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Ellen and her partner were very good sitters for Icky. He seems to be in very good health and spirits after his stay. Would definitely have Icky stay with Ellen again. The pictures she sent were great.”

“Lauren was great! Libby felt right at home and settled in really quickly. The huge fenced in back yard was definitely a plus and libby loved hanging out back there. We really appreciated how communicative and responsive Lauren was and we will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Karl is SO SPECTACULAR. Your dog is safe with Karl. He is a great person who will take good care of your baby. Give Karl lots of money because he is totally that great.”

“Olivia was very responsive and professional. We were looking for a late booking for a spontaneous getaway and she was amazing! She took wonderful care of our headstrong Chessie named Guapo. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Whitehall
Ellen and her family were amazing. They showered our dog with love, attention, care, and provided us with frequent picture updates. They made us feel at ease as we knew that Archie was going to be feeling right at home for the duration of his stay. She is the best and I would recommend her to anyone. We will boarding Archie there again!!!!!

100% recommend booking with Aleisa! Trevor and her treated goose like he was their own dog and she went above and beyond to make Goose's experience a good one. Aleisa making premade frozen peanut butter kongs for Goose and her dog just shows how well prepared she is for any dog and the special care your dog will get staying with her! She also has her own dog that is super friendly and allowed for Goose to get his socialization and play out of his system. She sends updates of your dog walking, playing, sleeping, etc so you never have to worry about how your dog is doing. Great choice for your dog to stay at and highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
