“Sally was absolutely amazing with Hiccup. Her communication was consistent and proactive, and we received tons of pictures during his stay! He got exercise daily, and plenty of cuddles and playtime. As soon as Hiccup met Sally and the home, he seemed at ease and adjusted well to the change. He was clearly safe, happy, and well-loved, and we will be using Sally for all of our future dogsitting needs!”
“Biscuit had such a great time at Laken’s. He has friends to play with and gets all kinds of cuddles and love while I’m away. Laken sends fantastic updates and pictures!!”

“Travis was fantastic! He took care of my Bettie just like she was his own. This was her first time being away from both me and her brother Frank, so it was a bit stressful for her, but Travis kept me posted the entire time with pictures, videos, questions, and updates. He asked all the right questions and I didn't have to worry about leaving my baby with him at all. His dog Ginger is super sweet and got along with my Bettie right away like they were long-time pals. Would definitely book with Travis again.”

“Alexandria is the best, she is so sweet and my fur babies love her and love hanging out with her when I am traveling. She offered so many wonderful pics and updates and kept my boys busy and active and they had an absolute blast with her.”

About: Hi! My name is Grace! I am first year veterinary student at OSU. I previously at The College of Charleston in South Carolina where I majored in marine biology and worked as a veterinarian technician at a small animal clinic down there. I have had a variety of animals growing up including dogs, cats, horses, goats and chickens. I currently have two cats of my own named Goose & Duck. I have been on Rover almost 7 years now and would love to help out with your animals. It’s a great study break for me and keeps me active! I’m eager to help out with cats and dogs of all sizes. Additionally, due to my vet tech experience, I am happy to trim nails, express glands, clean ears, etc in the comfort of your own home! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my services. I look forward to meeting lots of cute and furry friends soon! I have a very flexible routine that I can easily fit your pet into! Although I am a full-time veterinary student, I feel as if that helps me manage my time even better than if I was not! I do my best to keep your pet in their normal routine to keep them happy and comfortable while you are away! This includes a normal feeding schedule and plenty of time outside!
“Top notch! Elizabeth is a very responsible and responsive sitter. My pup had so much fun - I could tell she didn't really want to come home. Will certainly use Elizabeth's services again!”

“Pam did an AMAZING job with our dog, Green Bean! We have never booked a dog sitter before (besides friends and family) and were nervous about how our chihuahua would do, especially considering he has some issues with reactivity and anxiety. Pam (and her husband) put us completely at ease and loved our little guy like he was their own! He obviously adored them. Pam sent plenty of good updates and photos and made drop off and pick up super easy. We can't thank her enough!”

“Angie was wonderful with our one year old mini bernedoodle Reggie. This was only the second time he stayed in someone’s house and the first time with Angie ! She’s a happy, very positive person and gave Reggie lots of TLC while we were away. She also had to administer pills to him and she wasn’t bothered by that at all. We plan to use her services again in January 2026.”

“Jodi took such good care of our sweet senior dog. As he's gotten older and his list of needs (and old-man quirks) grows, it's been hard to find friends or family who are able to care for him. We feel so lucky that we found Jodi and her family. They were so kind, and it was obvious our dog liked and trusted them immediately during our initial meet and greet. We also loved that they offer pick up and delivery, it was lovely coming back to town and having him brought home. We will absolutely use them again!”

“Dajon is dope - Bishop felt right at home and came back home not skipping a beat so I could tell he was in good hands and was treated well. Certainly recommend Dajon and I will definitely request his services again.”

“Deanna took great care of our pup and was sure to send lots of updates with cute photos and videos. Our dog had fun playing with hers and running around in her spacious yard!”

“Sean was awesome throughout the whole experience! He kept me updated the entire time he watched Lady. Will definitely be using his services again when I go out of town!”

“Megan is the best! Our girls were happy to spend another long weekend in Megan’s care. She provides us peace of mind while we’re away, with frequent updates and photos. She has been an absolute godsend for us!”

“My wife just spent a two weeks in the hospital and Will was a great help in minding our dogs. The dogs were happy to hang out with their buddy Pumpkin and Will took great care of them. The photos and regular updates were most appreciated.”

“Ellen is a great pet sitter! My dog Hobie stayed with her for almost a week and had a great time. Ellen always responded quickly to any communication with her and sent daily updates on how Hobie was doing. He had a great time playing with Ellen's dog Zooey and going on outings to the parks around town. Thanks for a great first experience with Rover!”

“I felt comfortable with Cameo right away and knew my pup was in good hands. I received updates and good reports on how things were going for the week. I would definitely use Cameo again in the future!”

“Abigail took great care of our dog while we were on vacation! She was very responsive and sent frequent updates throughout with videos and photos. Would highly recommend!”

“Katie is amazing! We were able to take our first trip away from Presley since we moved to Columbus and know that Presley was in good hands at Katie’s house. Loved the pictures she sent and all the updates. Presley got along great with her doggos. Will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Jess was so sweet and took great care of my dogs! She was very friendly and accommodating to the schedule of our dogs. She sent updated everyday and I can tell she really loves and cares for all animals. Our dogs can get a little anxious in new environments but I could tell they felt comfy pretty quickly. Jess was very communicative and overall I would definitely have her watch my dogs again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Whitehall
Ellen and her family were amazing. They showered our dog with love, attention, care, and provided us with frequent picture updates. They made us feel at ease as we knew that Archie was going to be feeling right at home for the duration of his stay. She is the best and I would recommend her to anyone. We will boarding Archie there again!!!!!

100% recommend booking with Aleisa! Trevor and her treated goose like he was their own dog and she went above and beyond to make Goose's experience a good one. Aleisa making premade frozen peanut butter kongs for Goose and her dog just shows how well prepared she is for any dog and the special care your dog will get staying with her! She also has her own dog that is super friendly and allowed for Goose to get his socialization and play out of his system. She sends updates of your dog walking, playing, sleeping, etc so you never have to worry about how your dog is doing. Great choice for your dog to stay at and highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
