“I have left my elderly (but active) dog with Will and Bibiana twice so far for week-long trips, and he really seems to love it there! They’re very accommodating and send daily updates/pictures. They have a nice outdoor area for him, as well as lots of areas for him to lounge inside. They also took him on walks. Their home seems very clean too. I cannot recommend them enough!”

“We LOVE Karen. I have never left my baby with anyone else but our former groomer. She made my day sending pictures and a video. My baby came home the happiest I have ever seen her come home when we have been away. No anxiety, no issues, just happy We will be using her again in the future. Thank you Karen and to your family as well for welcoming my baby into your home and for taking such good care of her. God Bless you!!”

“Joe is our regular sitter for our senior dog when we go out of town. Leaving our dog shamu used to be stressful because of his separation anxiety, but Joe and him have formed a bond and now traveling is stress free for both shammy and us. He enjoys his stays with Joe and Duke so it is like he is getting a vacation too!”

“Sean was awesome throughout the whole experience! He kept me updated the entire time he watched Lady. Will definitely be using his services again when I go out of town!”

“Max was in very capable hands! He was able to socialize with some other dogs, which was a new experience for him. Karl made him very comfortable. Best boarding experience, yet! Thanks!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Victoria and the care she provided for my dog, Louise. Louise stayed with her for 9 days, and it’s clear she had an absolute blast the entire time. Normally, Louise is full of non-stop energy, but when she got home, she was completely tuckered out—in the best way possible! That alone told me she had a fun, active, and fulfilling stay. Victoria went above and beyond to make sure Louise felt at home. She provided updates throughout the stay, was super communicative, and treated Louise like one of her own. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in such capable and caring hands. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves dogs and gives them the time, attention, and love they deserve, Victoria is the one. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book with her again. Thank you, Victoria, for taking such amazing care of Louise!”

“She was amazing she sent me updates everyday stormi was happy came back in such a good mood she loved every minute of it . She is so sweet and understanding 10/10 recommend . I will be using her again”

“We can’t say enough good things about our experience with Khalyn! She took such wonderful care of our two dogs, Dolly and Pancho. Both dogs have very different personalities, but she cared to both of them with so much patience and attention. Khalyn sent daily photo updates, and it made us so happy to see how relaxed and content they looked while we were away. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. We’ll absolutely be booking with Khalyn again!”

“Rayann was absolutely amazing with my girls, who admittedly are a handful. She and her family made them feel as loved and cared for as we do, and was happy to keep us updated on how they did during their stay.”

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, and horses since I was 12 years old. My responsibility’s included feeding, walking, bathing , litter box changing , shoveling stalls . Currently I am working full time 8hr shift. I am looking to take care of pets part time after work a few times a week and some weekends . I do not have a fenced in yard so I mainly walk dogs in my neighborhood or take dogs to Eagle Creek Park if I am allowed . I have an annual park pass and use it often . I like to run so sometimes I will run with the dog .
“Our dogs love staying with Ms Kyla and always get all the love and attention they crave. She sends pictures and updates throughout the stay to keep us informed and our dogs are sad to leave when we pick them up!”
“Thank you for taking such amazing care of Olive! The pictures of her were so beautiful and it’s clear she felt right at home with you. She’s already looking forward to her next slumber party!”

“Megan was fantastic with our doodle, Luna. She was attentive, kept us updated with photos and videos throughout the stay, and made sure Luna was happy and comfortable. We could tell Luna enjoyed her time with her. Highly recommend Megan!”

“Olivia was very responsive and professional. We were looking for a late booking for a spontaneous getaway and she was amazing! She took wonderful care of our headstrong Chessie named Guapo. She kept us updated with photos and their activities. We would trust her anytime we need a sitter again! Thank you Olivia!”

“Amy was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. She allowed extra time for pickup when our flight got in late. She kept us updated and sent pictures of Blue throughout his stay. I will definitely book with Amy again!”

“Watched my anxiety riddled dog for a week with no problems! I received updates throughout the week and Abigail was very organized in helping make sure my dog has everything he needed to have a good visit. He was also sound asleep when I brought him home within 5 minutes from all the playtime. Definitely recommend and I will use again myself!”

“Kam was amazing. We needed to travel last minute and Kam was able to accommodate us with such a short notice. She’s very responsive and sent frequent updates. I was afraid Sebastian wouldn’t want to come home lol. Will definitely be using her services again in the future.”

100% recommend booking with Aleisa! Trevor and her treated goose like he was their own dog and she went above and beyond to make Goose's experience a good one. Aleisa making premade frozen peanut butter kongs for Goose and her dog just shows how well prepared she is for any dog and the special care your dog will get staying with her! She also has her own dog that is super friendly and allowed for Goose to get his socialization and play out of his system. She sends updates of your dog walking, playing, sleeping, etc so you never have to worry about how your dog is doing. Great choice for your dog to stay at and highly recommend!

Clayton has been and will be my number one go to for dog boarding. My Tilly loves going to his house and acts like she’s on her own 5 star vacation while she’s there. From playing outside in the snow, to having her own bed and all the toys! The best part is the spa treatment of a bath and blowout the night before she comes home. I definitely will continue to use Clayton and recommend him as a pet sitter.

Mikaela and her family were great! Our dog did a two-night overnight stay. They were flexible with our schedule, Baloo loved her dogs, and they have a big fenced in back yard. Baloo is elder and requires a little extra attention with movement and meds. Mikaela also had a dog that matched Baloo’s energy which made us very happy. We think he had a great time.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
