About: UPDATES! Due to my Husbands career change, I will be the main person that will be caring for your animals. He will help if needed or if any dogs come to our home. My husband and I have a lifelong experience with dogs. We both grew up with dogs. I had a Golden Retriever and he had a Labrador Retriever. We have experience with all different types of pups! We are a team and work together to love and care for every dog we care for. We have dedicated ourselves to learning all about dogs, their social behaviors, and how to keep them happy and healthy. Our schedule has temporarily changed due to my husband getting a new job. About: I adopted a hound mix from the shelter who was so afraid of the world and has become the most well-adjusted, friendly boy in the world! I also adopted a stray dog in December who has already grown leaps and bounds! My last dog unfortunately had to have her leg amputated when she got older, so I also have experience with disabled dogs. About: I'm an animal lover who's grown up with multiple family members who owned dogs and have had my own German Shepherd for years since puppyhood! Well versed in caring for, walking, and enjoying company of pets. I'm a college student currently working part-time and studying for the LSAT, so I have a fairly flexible schedule that can work well for you! My approach would be to try to provide structure to the animals while following the rules and preferences of the clients. I've found my own dog is the happiest when provided efficient stimulation, so I would want to provide that for any pets I was sitting.
About: One thing that makes me stand out as a good dog sitter is that I always have put the needs of animals ahead of my own. I raised a beautiful golden who had many sicknesses, most relating to her allergies. She had anxiety, and many ear infections, feet infections, an eye infection and once , she got a blood clot in her ear which was very painful and required a lot of meds and TLC. I have an excellent veterinarian who gave us the best care. She got a walk on most days, excluding severe weather days. She got regular brushing, nail clippings, etc. She loved to play with balls and she loved pepperonis her whole life. I have raised several puppies and cared for several senior dogs and just being around animals especially dogs makes me happy. I am a teacher currently and I have evenings, weekends and breaks during the school year and during the summer I have time during the day for the month of June and my schedule frees up starting July and August. “My boarding experience with Lauren has been great. I felt really comfortable knowing she was well cared for during my extended trip away. Lauren is easy to communicate with and very responsive. We also do daycare with her and my Yorkie enjoys going back, which says a lot since she’s usually pretty anxious in environments outside of the house. Lauren is very kind and treats my little one like her own, and I really appreciate the care she gives her. We’ve had a great experience overall.”
“Karla is super sweet and super flexible! She’s great with the dogs and gave lots of cute pictures and honest updates! It was my anxious puppy’s first stay with strangers as well as other dogs and they made fast friends :) she’s very responsible and has a great environment for the dogs, and shes very kind and understanding with them as well as you :) I would recommend Karla for a dog of any size, age or temperament, she did a great job and I will definitely be back!”
“2nd time we used Travis. Riley our almost 7 year old GR had a great stay. 5 nights at Travis’s home. Riley and Ginger(Travis’s) dog got along great. I have four cats, so dogs staying with me may be around other animals, and they’ll also have access to small children in the home. My home has a fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor time, plus plenty of opportunities for walks and fresh air. For pups who enjoy an adventure, I’m also happy to include supervised car rides and outings when appropriate.
