About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was about 10 Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and take care their pets. I’m currently looking work before heading to NY for college in August. My schedule allows for flexibility and time to give your pup the attention is it needs. I currently walk, feed, and bathe my own dog. I can safely navigate dog walks and crating (when necessary). I also care for family’s pets!

About: I have been a dog lover my entire life. I am known as the dog whisperer. It' is rumored amongst pets of the existence of a dog petter who has the most loving energy. Many dogs only believe it to be legend. It is a real live person. It is me the dog whisperer. I have experience walking, administering meds through mouth and providing exercise and treats. There is no pet to big or small. I love them all. I have a rather flexible schedule due to working online. Only times I am not available when traveling for business as host for a travel group. I care for pets to the instructions of the pet owner. I know most dogs that are properly cared for require a lot of attention and prefer to be in the company of someone. I enjoy the company and love to give quality time to dogs. Such as playing fetch tug a war or long walks.
About: I have 3 dogs that I have been taking care of for about 10 plus years. I’ve also watched many friends and family’s pers for them, I do have skills in training puppies and some experience in senior care. I am as of recently unemployed, I decided to pivot into my passion for animals and pursue dog sitting and walking full time so any day or time of the week is perfect for me!! My 3 babies do have a fenced in yard, however is not the biggest so I take them on walks about every day. We try to do bath week at least twice month along with a nail trim. I also do cleanup weekly since there’s 3 of them, I always treat a clients pet as my own and give them the tender love and care they deserve because I understand that every baby has their different needs!!
“John met us on his own time to get acquainted to the house and acclimated with the dogs. One of our dogs was very shy but John took the time and care to get her warmed up to him so she could comfortably walk with them. He's been on time every day and willing to work with our schedule even if there are last minute changes. You can tell he is doing this because he really enjoys and cares about the animals. Make sure to book him quick if he's still available!”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is one of the happiest parts of my day. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with your pet-not just to feed them or let them outside, but to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet is an energetic adventure buddy, a professional napper, or a shy cat who prefers quiet company, I’ll meet them where they are. Every animal has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes them happiest. One thing you can count on from me is communication. I’ll keep you updated with messages and plenty of photos, so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing they’re in caring, capable hands. Friends, neighbors, and repeat clients trust me because I’m dependable, attentive, and treat every home with respect. I follow routines carefully, pay attention to the little details, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I can’t wait to meet your furry fam! 🐕🦮🐩🐕🦺 Caring for pets has become one of my favorite parts of my week. My flexible schedule allows me to provide reliable care throughout the day, and I genuinely enjoy getting outside for walks or spending quiet time with cats. I treat every pet as if they were my own and pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. I love to keep pets on their normal schedule as much as possible, following your instructions carefully and making sure they are safe, comfortable, and happy.

About: I adopted a hound mix from the shelter who was so afraid of the world and has become the most well-adjusted, friendly boy in the world! I also adopted a stray dog in December who has already grown leaps and bounds! I would love to pet sit/dog walk for you and love taking dogs to their own private sniff spots when they spend numerous days with me :) I am pet-sitting full time, so I have all the time to focus on caring for pets :) I am willing to come to your home anytime of day or pet sit in my home, 7 days a week. I have two friendly dogs at home and can watch your pet at home. Otherwise, I am more than happy to pet sit at your home! Dogs stay on leash unless we are at a fenced sniffspot, as approved by owner :)
About: Owned dogs my whole life and have a cat of my own. Would love the chance to meet yours and give them everything they need! I am a fully remote college student. I work as a coach with very weird hours but never gone long since classes are 45 mins. I am very clean and I want your place to be the same way, if not better when I leave. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Whitehall
Allison and Andrew are absolutely fantastic dog walkers!! They were always on time and happy and ready to walk our excited and energetic mini Bernedoodle Reggie. Reggie loved his walks with them and would stand by the door patiently and a little anxiously every am and pm waiting for his walk with Allison and Andrew ! We were very pleased and will definitely use them again !!!

Karly is THE BEST!!!!! She walks my pup, Fuzzy, every day and takes such good care of her. She has gone above and beyond to help me- Fuz is reactive and takes a good bit to warm up to people, and Karly went out of her way to get to know Fuz, and is amazing at communicating/ returning messages/ reaching out with any questions or concerns. Fuz and I highly HIGHLY recommend!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
