About: I previously owned a dog walking and pet-sitting business for over four years, and I absolutely loved it! I walked dogs that ranged from 1-16 years of age, and administered oral medication and provided insulin to diabetic dogs. I have also fostered dogs four separate times, ages ranging from 1-6 years. I have 4 years of exotic animal care experience as well! I work from home full time on a very flexible schedule. I can move my daily plans around to fit your needs, and will update my availability to include changes ASAP. There is one other dog and two friendly cats in the home. About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life, whether it’s dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, rodents, you name it! I currently have two pups of my own and three cats of my own. My pets are my entire world and I love to treat other peoples pets with the same respect. I’m between jobs right now so I am free all week/ weekends! About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family fostered and cared for cats, which sparked my lifelong passion for animal care and behavior. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and they seem to trust me easily. Basic feeding and walking for dog and cats too if needed. About: Hi!🫶🏼 I Would love to help care for your animals in any capacity. I have extensive experience with animals and have worked at a dog boarding kennel in the past in addition to growing up with pets. I have worked with aggressive dogs and am comfortable reading a dog’s cues to prevent escalation. I currently have a Bernese mountain dog who is always down for a play date and a cat who tolerates her antics haha. Bonus- I’m an ER nurse, far from a vet tech, but good for med admin if needed! With that, I do work 3 shifts a week(12 hours) that vary. So while my schedule can be sporadic, it can also be very open! I work full time 3 days a week and use rover sitters myself for those days. My schedule varies, but I am great for last minute needs as long as I’m not working! I try to stick to your pet’s routine and rules! I am also very good at recognizing body language/behaviors and therefore can prevent “incidents” from occurring like aggression on walks. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
