On the rare occasion that a dog needs to be left unattended for a short period of time, I offer **large, secure crates** for owners who prefer their dogs to be crated. If an owner prefers that their dog not be crated, I have a designated, dog-safe area of my home where they can relax comfortably and safely while I’m briefly away. In many cases, dogs are even able to **join me when I leave the house**, depending on the owner’s preferences and what is appropriate for their dog\.
