“Laura was a great pet sitter and took such good care of my baby. I was in the process of moving and she kept my dog for a couple of days so that I could focus on a move, which was so helpful. She’s so friendly very communicative and Reese was very happy at her home.”

“We love Anjanette! She is our go-to sitter for whenever we are away. Milo is always excited to be with Anjanette and we know he will be treated as her family dog with love and care”

“Joe has quickly become our go to sitter! Hank was so excited to see him and Duke! As nervous dog parents we feel like we’re actually able to relax when we’re away as we know he’s in very good hands. Thanks again for the great care you provide!”

“I can’t say enough for the care that Emily gave to our Ezra. This was his first time away from home and I was a bit worried. But Emily put my mind at ease right away. I had complete confidence that he was safe and happy and even having his very own vacation. Home routine must seem a bit boring to him now! I guess we’ll just have to take another vacation so he can come back for more. We would very highly recommend Emily and will certainly choose her again. Love all of the updates and pix she took time to do! 🐶❤️Five stars ⭐️ all the way❣️”

“Our dog Ninja had a great time with Sally. We're not local to Columbus so it was much appreciated to have someone to look after our dog while we attended a family reunion. Next time we are in the are we will be sure to book Sally again.”

“Samson had a great time with Will and Bibiana! We received pictures when we were away and updates. We are looking forward to work with Will and Bibiana again.”

“Lauren is absolutely wonderful! Her kind and caring nature shows through in the way she cares for our pups. Lauren is very detailed oriented, giving a report on how our pups got along with her dog and each other, what they ate, if they rested. We feel very blessed to have Lauren to help us care for our fur family.”

“Andrew was so responsive and friendly. Diesel felt at home in their home right away! They welcomed him with open arms like a member of their family. We were so glad to find a sitter like Andrew. Diesel was safe and happy with Andrew’s adorable dogs and kids. We could enjoy our vacation completely knowing our pup was in great hands!”

“Cody went above and beyond while watching my fur baby! She was able to sit for me while I went on a work trip. She followed all my care instructions and sent pictures daily. He was sad to leave his new friend after an amazing stay with her.”

About: Hi! I’m Brittany, and I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. As the proud owner of a happy 5-year-old French Bulldog, I understand that pets are family and deserve patience, love, and personalized care. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their daily routine, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, administering basic medications, and caring for dogs with unique personalities and needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I’ll keep you updated with photos, videos, and messages, giving you peace of mind throughout your time away. My Services 🐾 Dog Boarding 🐾 House Sitting 🐾 Drop-In Visits 🐾 Dog Walking Pet care is already a natural part of my everyday life. As the owner of a 5 yr old Frenchie, my days already revolve around walks, feeding, playtime, enrichment, and making sure my own dog is happy and healthy. Because caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, it’s easy to incorporate additional pets into my daily routine. I plan my schedule so every dog gets the attention, exercise, and one-on-one care they deserve. Whether it’s an early morning walk, midday potty break, afternoon play session, or evening cuddle time, I make sure each pet receives consistent care and plenty of affection. I truly love spending time with animals! I care for every pet as if they were my own. I know how important it is to keep pets comfortable, so I do my best to maintain their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications (if needed), and lots of love and attention. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality because some dogs love to play all day, while others are happiest relaxing with belly rubs and cuddles. In a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect I would want for my own. I make sure pets feel safe in their familiar environment, keep everything clean and tidy, and provide regular updates with photos and messages so owners can enjoy their time away without worrying. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. They receive plenty of supervision, affection, exercise, and a safe, comfortable place to relax. I keep plenty of clean toys, orthopedic beds and blankets on hand so your pet feels at home. My goal is always to make them feel loved and at home.
“Maolin was a great caretaker for Nash. We were away on vacation for 10 days and she sent daily photos and videos as well as took Nash to the local dog park to play around. She really seemed to care a great deal for Nash as like she was her own. Would definitely use again and refer her to others!”

“Amy was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. She allowed extra time for pickup when our flight got in late. She kept us updated and sent pictures of Blue throughout his stay. I will definitely book with Amy again!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Victoria and the care she provided for my dog, Louise. Louise stayed with her for 9 days, and it’s clear she had an absolute blast the entire time. Normally, Louise is full of non-stop energy, but when she got home, she was completely tuckered out—in the best way possible! That alone told me she had a fun, active, and fulfilling stay. Victoria went above and beyond to make sure Louise felt at home. She provided updates throughout the stay, was super communicative, and treated Louise like one of her own. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in such capable and caring hands. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely loves dogs and gives them the time, attention, and love they deserve, Victoria is the one. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book with her again. Thank you, Victoria, for taking such amazing care of Louise!”

About: My fiancée, Katrina, and I are dog lovers and own four dogs ourselves-a Bernese Mountain Dog, a Vizsla, and two Miniature Schnauzers—so we have plenty of experience with dogs big and small. We have been pet-sitting for friends and family for years and work from home so your pup will have round-the-clock company. Our house has a fully fenced backyard with a magnetic screen door so they will have access to the outside whenever they want. Our dogs also love to play with other dogs, and are very friendly and chill. We have experience with senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, so if your pet has medication needs, we can make sure your pup stays on schedule with whatever they need. I think you will quickly find that your dog becomes part of our family and we treat them as our own, and your pup will view their stay with us as a relaxing vacation and want to return again and again. One of us is always working from home, so there will never be a time when your pet is alone. We tend to be homebodies, and will schedule social events around the care of your pet. We have a fully fenced backyard and generally leave the backdoor open during the day so that the dogs can go in/out at their own leisure. We live in a quiet neighborhood so if your dog prefers to be walked, the neighborhood is self-contained, off the main road and fully sidewalked. Your dog will have full run of the house, and is even permitted to be on furniture! We also have a variety of dog beds and crates for whatever style your dog prefers to sleep or relax. And if your dog likes to sleep in bed—well I guess we can oblige :) We also live approximately 5 minutes from a dog park, so your pup can also go on a fun field trip while in our care (or if you prefer for them to stay at our house only, that's fine as well). We are also less than a mile from MedVet, so in case of any emergency, we can ensure your pet's medical needs are taken care of quickly.
“My standard schnauzer, Bentley, stayed with Emily for three nights and had an awesome time!! He got lots of love, attention, and exercise. I will definitely be booking with Emily again in the future!”

“The dogs seemed to have a great time, they were exhausted when they got home from all the running around and playing they did. We will definitely use them for future stays.”

Elizabeth did a wonderful job taking care of Sofie. She even got Sofie to go on a walk, which she usually will do only with me! Elizabeth sent frequent photos as this was Sofie's first time staying with her and her boys. The whole family was very loving and caring towards Sofie.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
