One of us is always working from home, so there will never be a time when your pet is alone. We tend to be homebodies, and will schedule social events around the care of your pet.

We have a fully fenced backyard and generally leave the backdoor open during the day so that the dogs can go in/out at their own leisure. We live in a quiet neighborhood so if your dog prefers to be walked, the neighborhood is self-contained, off the main road and fully sidewalked. Your dog will have full run of the house, and is even permitted to be on furniture! We also have a variety of dog beds and crates for whatever style your dog prefers to sleep or relax. And if your dog likes to sleep in bed—well I guess we can oblige :) We also live approximately 5 minutes from a dog park, so your pup can also go on a fun field trip while in our care (or if you prefer for them to stay at our house only, that's fine as well). We are also less than a mile from MedVet, so in case of any emergency, we can ensure your pet's medical needs are taken care of quickly.

Please let us know: - Your dog’s preferred activity level, we can accommodate all types, do they prefer backyard play, do they like a leashed walk? We live in a house and neighborhood that offers both. - Your dog’s dietary or medical needs. We offer plenty of treats (or no treats if you prefer) - Your dog’s attachment level. Some dogs love to chill out all day in a separate space, others love to be attached to the hip, we love both!
A typical day
We love to get down and be a dog with your dog. Barking doesn’t bother us. Zoomies make us laugh and play. Depending on your dog’s style, they can either have the laziest day on a dog bed or couch, or can run around in the backyard all day with us, or some combination of the two. We have frisbees, Chuck-it’s, and have gone through enough Lambchop toys that we can have a Lambchop graveyard to those that have been torn apart before. If your dog enjoys dog parks, we live five minutes away from the Violet Township dog parks and would love to take them on a fun field trip. For dogs who enjoy hiking, we are close to many Fairfield County and Hocking Hills hiking trails.

Pet care experience
We are the biggest dog lovers and own four dogs ourselves-a Bernese Mountain Dog, a Vizsla, and two Miniature Schnauzers—so we have plenty of experience with dogs big and small. We have been pet-sitting for friends and family for years and work from home so your pup will have round-the-clock company. Our house has a fully fenced backyard with a magnetic screen door so they will have access to the outside whenever they want. Our dogs also love to play with other dogs, and are very friendly and chill. We have experience with senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, so if your pet has medication needs, we can make sure your pup stays on schedule with whatever they need. I think you will quickly find that your dog becomes part of our family and we treat them as our own, and your pup will view their stay with us as a relaxing vacation and want to return again and again.

Scott and Katrina were wonderful! They communicated with us throughout Kona’s stay and sent lots of photos and videos, which we really appreciated. Kona loved playing with their dogs and having their beautiful backyard to run around in. Scott and Katrina were both so sweet with her, and it was obvious that Kona felt happy and comfortable with them. We would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them!
Scott and Katrina were the sweetest people and I felt so comfortable leaving my girl in their care. They have the perfect set up for dogs and you can tell they truly care for the dogs in their home. We will definitely be repeats!
Scott and Kate are seriously the best! They love our golden like she's one of their own, and she absolutely adores them. She gets so excited the second she realizes we're pulling up to their house, and honestly, that says everything. Leaving your dog with someone else is never easy, but I never worry when she's with them. I know she's getting so much love, attention, and care, and I can actually enjoy being away because I know she's happy. If you're looking for people who will treat your pup like family, I can't recommend them enough!
