I have over 25 years of 5-star rated pet care experience, and nearly 130 *repeat clients, both inside and outside of Rover :-). Hi! My name is Laura and I've been a dog and pet lover my whole life. I've owned and loved my own miniature Schnoodle for 15 years (Sniffy, who sadly passed away about 5 years ago), and I also grew up with several dogs. We have a new pup now, another Schnoodle named Smitty 🐾. He is adorable and cuddly, and now 4 years old. I did pet sitting and dog walking on and off on my own for about 15 years, and was also a professional dog walker and pet sitter for 2 years in WI. I now have almost 30 years of pet care experience total, both through Rover since 2015, and managing my own business as well, for those who find me primarily via word-of-mouth, etc. I used to watch dogs in my own home a lot (for 7 years), and still do, but now I only watch up to two dogs at a time along with my own dog, and only if those two dogs are from the same household; otherwise I just watch one dog at a time, due to more aggression and other issues that can occur when you’re mixing dogs from three different households or more! :-) While we do not have a fenced in yard, I have a couple 50 ft. leads that I can hook your dog(s) up to so they can roam and sniff virtually free! As a pastor's wife and homeschooling mom, I have a busy but pretty flexible schedule, so will do my best to work with your timing and needs. My husband and children (ages 13, 17, and 19 currently) all love dogs, and have often helped care for the dogs I watch (of course, only if the pet owner is ok with that), so they are very good, experienced and loving with pets as well! 🥰 I can take your dog(s) on a walk or play catch in your backyard when I come to do a visit or housesitting at your home. I can also come do a visit for your cats, clean their litter boxes, and play with them as well. **I am also very available to come to your house for overnight housesitting stays (usually mid evening to mid morning?), combined with coming back during the day for usually one or two extra visits tops, depending on your pets’ needs and your wishes! 😊 And if you have multiple pets that I am caring for at your home, there will be a very good discount for those additional pets for all services. I am also comfortable and experienced in *administering many medications as well - oral, eye and ear drops, and some injections. I also have a lot of experience with senior dogs and the issues that can go with that age. I am very honest, conscientious, kind, thorough, a good communicator, and will keep you well updated and send you photos as much as you desire! When I am in your home for a visit, dog walk, or housesitting, I will keep your home neat and clean and will abide by all your rules and wishes. I am very responsible, and will show up within the time parameters we have discussed and do all the things you’ve asked me to do. However you choose to have me care for your pet(s), know that they will be in quality hands, and I will care for and love your dog(s) or cat(s) as if they’re my own pets (honestly!), doing all I can to make them as comfortable and happy as possible while you are away. ♥️☺️
