“So dependable! Thank you a million times over! It was so endearing to see Charli take so quickly to Kirsten. You can clearly tell she is a dog person. It was a relief to know she was in good hands.”

“Kayla has been terrific with our Rocky. He just loves her! She recently stayed at our home for a week and while caring for our pup, she was respectful of our home and belongings. She also communicates well and is prompt with responses. We love the pictures she sent each day so we knew Rocky was being well-cared for and having a good time.”

“It was our first visit from Christi and she was great with our dog. We received pictures and updates which made us feel comfortable that our dog was being well taken care of during the visit!”

“We are so relieved to have found JoVonna. She is officially a member of our family now. Our 4 cats do not socialize with other family members but they took to JoVonna immediately. She administered medicine, kept food and clean water available, and the cats said I have to step up my litter boxes duties to match her. JoVonna exceeded all expectations on timeliness and communication. So grateful and will book her for all future trips.”

“Rachel was great as always! She provided wonderful care and regular, thorough updates on our cat, and it was clear he enjoyed her care and company. Thank you!”

“Ioana was an awesome sitter for our cat! She was very professional when we met her. She did a great job keeping us up to date while we were away. We came home to a very happy, well taken care of cat. We would gladly book her again!”

“I am new to Rover. Found Deanna on the first try and she is fantastic. I have 3 dogs and one of them is 15. He needs extra care and love. Deanna has been great with him and the others. Pictures and updates of all three and cuddle time while I am at work. About to go on a trip and she will be visiting them every day for some TLC and potty breaks.”

“Melanie was so fantastic to our two cats! We have one shy girl and she actually came out and played with Melanie! We were expecting for her to never see our Lulu. She gave such great updates and sent so many pictures that really eased my anxiety about leaving them. Will definitely request her again!”

About: I had a Rottweiler for 8.5 years, I lost him 8/23/2024. I currently dog sit every once in a while for my granddog Odie and sister in law's dog Bandit. Photos in profile. I work from home 4 days a week. So pets can normally go out at any time. The one day I go to the office it is an 8 hour day. Walking would be after 5:30 pm. I have fenced in back yard. No other pet at this time. I can walk your dog in a pet friendly neighborhood. I am comfortable with all size dogs.
“Abby was wonderful in staying in touch and updating me on my pets. I loved seeing the pictures of them from each visit. She was great at communicating and put the well being of the kitties at the forefront of the visit. Overall am very pleased with her service and would use her again in the future.”

“I can't reccomend Taylor enough! She took such good care of my cats and lizard while we were on vacation for a week. We have a very shy and standoffish cat and it was clear to me that Taylor made them all feel so safe and comfortable based on how willing the cats were to let her snap pics of them every day - shes a great photographer too! Great communication, punctual, flexible (thank you again for feeding and keeping an eye on our bearded dragon!), and just all around a wonderful sitter who we will absolutely be booking with again. I would trust her in my home and with my pets any day. Thank you Taylor!”

“Celeste was great! She was able to check in on my puppy while I was at work. She asked all the right questions to make sure she knew how to care for him best and absolutely followed through! I know he was in good hands with her.”

“We are just so grateful for Jessica! Our home routine has been off this week which has been challenging for the dogs but she gave them some much needed activity, enrichment, and snuggles (and managed Teddy and his upset tummy). It’s such a relief knowing we have someone to help us ensure the dogs are happy and living their best life. It definitely minimizes the dog mom guilt on a week like this.”

“Savannah did an amazing job with Blu. It was great to get updates and hear that he was a good dog for her during the visits. She took pictures and overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Savannah and Rover to anyone I know!”

About: I’ve had pets since I was 5! After college I adopted my own dog who passed away at 15. I’ve pet sit for various friends and family members and have experience with dogs 6 pounds to 80! I currently teach yoga, am in graduate school, and freelancing. My schedule is rather flexible which allows me to add this into my daily schedule. At this time, I’m not inviting pets into my home. If I have regular clients whose pets I get to know, I will be open to in the future. Since I have a cat, I want to ensure the comfortability of both pets.

Gahanna cat parents share their Rover experiences
Adriana was so wonderful to work with! She cared for our 2 cats while we were away and showed a huge appreciation and understanding for cat care and needs, which can be rare. She went above and beyond taking care of the home while we were away as well. Will definitely book again! Thanks so much Adriana!!

Rachel went above and beyond. She noticed one of the litter boxes getting low and added more litter (a task we’d forgotten in our rush to get going). Rachel washed up cat food bowls so we wouldn’t have as much to do when we returned and sent photos of everyone each visit. We will definitely be a repeat customer!
