About: ✨ Meet & greets available for new clients ✨ Detailed updates with photos & videos ✨ Plenty of playtime, cuddles, and personalized care ✨ 5 years of nursing experience + a lifetime of caring for dogs Hi! I’m Gabriella 🤍 Your dog’s new favorite sitter (and hopefully a new bestie for them). I’ve been a registered nurse for the past five years, and caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am. That same patience, attentiveness, and compassion carries over into how I care for every pet I meet. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home with at least three dogs at all times—from gentle Newfoundlands and playful Yorkies to Mastiffs, Golden Retrievers, Poodles, and many more. I’ve helped train many of our family dogs using a variety of training methods and have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Since moving to Columbus a few years ago and getting married, we haven’t welcomed a dog of our own just yet—which means I have plenty of love and attention to give yours! Whether your pup is energetic, shy, anxious, goofy, or a senior who just wants a calm companion, I take the time to get to know them and help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I also have experience with house sitting, boarding, walks, feeding, medication administration, and caring for pets with different routines and needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, so I’ll always treat your dog like they’re one of my own. My goal is simple: for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, loved, and in caring hands. You’ll always receive consistent communication, adorable photos, and honest updates, so you never have to wonder how your best friend is doing. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! 🐾🤍 I’m currently working 32 hours a week. I’m free on Wednesday’s completely. I have evenings available (except Thursday) and I’m available on weekends. I’m an early riser, so if you need someone as early as 6:30am I’m your girl! Times gone: Monday 10-6 (work) Tuesday 8:30-4 (work Thursday 8:30-4 (work) Friday 8:00-4 (work) Sunday 10-12 (church) I will treat your pup just like my own! The more information you give me about them, the better! This way I can make sure i’m doing things/caring for them in a way that is the most familiar for them. You can expect quite a few photos of your pup when they are in my care, and quick communication from me as well. I’d love to walk your pup, however long they’re comfortable. Dogs when over our house can roam around wherever while we’re present. I have a guest room to keep them in, if I were not to be home. I can also crate them, as long as that’s provided with them! They are free to sleep on the couch, floor, or bed. We have no pets currently living with us, it is me and my husband. I have experience training dogs in public settings and taking them out and about to pet friendly places. If your dog is already trained and well mannered in public places, I’m more than happy to take them out to places that stimulate them and are pet friendly.
“Maria M. was absolutely wonderful with Daisy... She did an amazing job keeping Daisy entertained and Happy as we could tell from all the photos. We're going to send out Maria's information to all our friends if they need a dog sitter. We most definitely will use Maria M. as Daisy's dog sitter from now on when we go on vacations. Thanks again for everything Maria. You're the Best!!! Stay Safe and Healthy.... The White Family....”

“Laura did an AMAZING job with my two kittens! She came in clutch for me last minute, & provided the best care possible. She is somebody I will 100% reccomend & come back to in the future!☺️”

“Megan and Jay took wonderful care of Loki! He clearly had a great time with plenty of walks and lots of backyard play. They kept me updated with great communication and photos, which I really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend them and will definitely book with them again. Thank you!”

“Fantastic dog sitter! Was able to accommodate my dog especially last minute. Made him very comfortable and kept his routine despite anxiety and requiring medications. Walked him frequently and provided updates through text and pictures. Honestly it's rare to come across a sitter that provides such great service. Despite a little marking accident, they were very professional. Highly recommend them in the future.”

About: Hi, I’m VJ. I work from home most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I have two dogs of my own: a 6-year-old female Bernese Mountain Dog and a medium male Goldendoodle. Both are gentle, submissive, and friendly with other dogs. My Bernese especially has a sweet “mama bear” personality and is very nurturing around other pets. My home is calm, dog-friendly, and comfortable. Pets are allowed on the furniture, and I want visiting dogs to feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family while they are here. I live in a quiet neighborhood with very little road noise, and there is a large community park close by where I can take dogs for walks, fresh air, and playtime based on their comfort level and your instructions. I’m best suited for dogs who are potty trained, friendly with other dogs, and not destructive in the home. I like to keep a peaceful environment, so I always prefer a meet-and-greet first to make sure your dog feels comfortable with me, my dogs, and the space. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I will follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any house rules you share. I’m also happy to send regular photo and message updates so you feel connected while you are away. Your dog will be treated with patience, affection, and respect in a safe home environment. I work from home most of the time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day for potty breaks, feeding, playtime, walks, and supervision. I can give dogs plenty of attention and keep their routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Your dog will be cared for like part of the family in a calm, dog-friendly home. I have two sweet, submissive dogs who are used to being around other pets. My Bernese has a gentle “mama bear” personality, and my Goldendoodle loves to play fetch. I have an invisible fence for my own dogs, but I do not rely on it for visiting pets. Guest dogs are supervised outdoors and taken out on leash unless we discuss and agree on a safe routine together. I always prefer a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. I also like to follow each dog’s normal feeding, potty, walk, playtime, and sleep routine as closely as possible so they feel relaxed and cared for while you are away.
“Tyra took great care of Rocky! She was always responsive, kept me updated throughout his stay, and regularly sent photos and videos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Rocky had a great time playing with her dogs and came home happy and relaxed. It was clear that he was well cared for and got plenty of attention. I would definitely book with Tyra again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Pam was amazing! She is so kind and loving, our pup had a great time! Great at communication, flexible and fantastic photos during our trip. I highly recommend.”

“Lizmarie was great! Carly stayed with her for about a week when we were on vacation. She sent us updates and photos during her stay and made sure Carly smelled good when we picked her up. Will definitely book her again the next time we are going out of town.”

“I cant recommend Erin enough, she is the best! When I got a new puppy I was a bit nervous about finding a sitter to continue with our routine and spend the extra time needed for a puppy, but Erin scheduled a meet & greet to learn all about Skye’s training and get to know us. Skye hit it off right away with Erin and her 2 dogs. I love that she sends updates and photos a couple of times a day so I know that she is having a blast and getting lots of attention while she’s away from home.”

About: Hello!! **Update** I am currently accepting walks for only 6-7am and 8-10pm timeframes. I have several repeat clients that take up the other hours but will update this if things change. Drop ins are same timeframes except for Sundays and Tuesdays I can take on anytime all day. If you are going on vacation please reach out anyways about Drop Ins as if my schedule allows I CAN accommodate for the most part with a month in advance*** :) My name is Christine and thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile :) I used Rover for 4-5 years but I moved and then was working 2 jobs at the time so I took a break and am back now! I grew up taking care of many types of animals but more specifically dogs. I have 3 dogs of my own, all different breeds and personalities, which really challenged me to be able to learn and grow with taking care of dogs. I am working on opening my own location for a Doggie Day care business but until then I would like to gain even more experience and slowly earn loyal doggie clients. Mainly available for walks 7 days a week. Mostly open for drop ins 5-7 days a week ! I have a flexible schedule for last min bookings My 3 pets are EXTREMELY LOVED and spoiled! They have their own closets, foods, toys and even a room dedicated to my cats and dogs in case they just need that alone time away from the humans ! They receive the upmost care for grooming and vet clinic as well! My wallet is never happy when it comes to my pets because I just find so many ways to love them and spoil them!
“Allison is wonderful! She was very communicative before and during Oz’s stay and was serious about understanding his routines and habits. We felt great knowing he was getting her full attention for walks, snuggles, and care! Highly recommend!!”

Savanah was fantastic! She was able to board Sugar last minute and took care of her like she was her own. Sugar always has anxiety when boarded, but seemed so happy and relaxed with Savanah. We appreciated the updates and photos she provided to us, as well! We will definitely take Sugar back. Thank you, Savanah! 💖

Second stay, and somehow even better than the first! This was our second time boarding Rocky and Koi with Nursah, and we wouldn’t trust anyone else. From the moment we dropped them off, it was clear they were exactly where they wanted to be — tails wagging, no looking back at us whatsoever (humbling, honestly). Nursah takes such incredible care of them. You can tell she genuinely loves dogs, not just as a job but as a real passion. We felt completely at ease the entire time, knowing they were in a safe, loving home environment rather than a kennel. Rocky and Koi came back happy, calm, and well-loved.

We found Kristine on line and feel that it might have been our luckiest choice ever. Kristine was so warm and welcoming to our pup (and us) that we had not a moment's worry that Louie was well cared for. If you want a sitter to care for your dog as lovingly as you would, choose her.

Rachel and Jeff were such great sitters for our dog while my family was on vacation! They kept us updated on how our dog was, sent photos, were quick to communicate with and were flexible. I know our dog loved being them. I highly recommend, I know we’ll be using them again!

Yujin and Stephen were incredibly warm and communicative throughout the process. They greeted Ellie with familiarity immediately and ensured we felt confident that she’d be in good hands. We received multiple photos and updates throughout her stay. And as a cherry on top, they surprised us with a physical photo of Ellie as a souvenir. I’d highly recommend and look forward to Ellie’s next stay with them!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
