Experienced Vacation Dog Mom
I’m a lifelong animal lover who truly enjoys caring for dogs like they’re part of the family! I grew up with three cats and later had a Beagle, Pippin, who was with us for 14 sweet years. For the past 5 years, we’ve regularly hosted dogs in our home, and we love the joy and energy they bring to our daily life! I work part-time and my husband works from home, so someone is almost always here. This allows us to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and flexibility for your dog’s needs and routine. Whether your pup loves walks, playtime, or just relaxing, we’re happy to match their pace. I especially enjoy daily walks and quiet time on the deck with our dog guests, where they can safely take in all the sights and sounds. We generally only watch one pup at a time so they will enjoy exclusive love and attention while they’re here! We have a large backyard that backs up to a bike path—perfect for walks and outdoor time. Our neighborhood is very safe, dog-friendly, and located close to a park. We also have three responsible teenage boys who love helping play with and care for the dogs, so your pup will get lots of attention and affection. Your dog will be treated like part of our family while they’re here. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and keep you informed so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away.

Kelly and Ben were absolutely wonderful with Paloma! We got lots of pictures and updates throughout the weekend, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Paloma was happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. They were kind, communicative, and so easy to work with. We will definitely be booking with Kelly and Ben again! Highly recommend!
Maggie had such a great stay with Kelly and Ben! :) Kelly took her on some nice walks and let her hang out while she was gardening. They sent great pictures and updated us the whole time. We will definitely use again. :)

We found a treasure when we asked Kelly and Ben to help watch our dog while we were out of town! They love that she wanted to meet our Daisy before we made the final arrangements. That gave us such peace of mind. Our pup walked into their beautiful home, and she instantly felt comfortable. Their home is warm and gave us a feeling that our dog would be so well loved while we had to be out of town. Kelly also showed how much she cared and how knowledgeable she is by asking all the right questions and loving on Daisy like she was already a part of their family. Communication was terrific too! We received pictures throughout the weekend of Daisy on walks and being her sweet and silly self with Kelly’s family too! We are so happy with the experience that we already scheduled another time out of town - knowing that our Daisy girl will be totally spoiled and cared for while we are gone. Thank you to Kelly and her family for loving our dog like we do!❤️

We have a large backyard that provides plenty of space to roam, play, and relax, all while being set in a peaceful area that backs up to a bike path we frequently enjoy for walks. Our home is in a very safe, dog-friendly neighborhood with easy access to a nearby park, giving your pup even more opportunities for fresh air and exercise in a secure setting. Inside, your dog will be surrounded by lots of love and attention—our three responsible teenage boys truly enjoy spending time playing with and caring for dogs, adding to the warm, family-oriented atmosphere. You can feel confident knowing your dog will be in a secure, active, and caring environment where their safety, comfort, and happiness are always a top priority!

A typical day with your dog is active, social, and full of fresh air and fun! We start with a walk through the neighborhood or along the nearby bike path, giving them plenty of time to sniff, explore, and enjoy their surroundings. I love connecting with other dog owners along the way, which adds a friendly, social element to each outing. Back at home, we spend time relaxing outside—often on the deck swing—so your dog can unwind while still enjoying the sights and sounds of the outdoors. We also love occasional playdates with friendly neighborhood dogs, giving your pup a safe and fun way to burn off energy and build social skills. Every day is a balance of exercise, companionship, and relaxation, tailored to keep your dog happy and engaged!

- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or personality traits. Dogs must be very well potty trained and otherwise trained to only chew on their toys, etc. Dogs must also be up to date on flea meds.
