“Kirsten and Nicolas were great! They sent pics during the whole stay and were very communicative. They also have a fenced in back yard that they let the dogs run around in. They updated us when the pups appetites were low, which I really appreciated. Both of our dogs tend to be anxious without us because they aren’t used to used to being alone, so it was also a big plus that they work from home. In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. I have two dogs of my own: a 6-year-old female Bernese Mountain Dog and a medium male Goldendoodle. Both are gentle, submissive, and friendly with other dogs. My Bernese especially has a sweet “mama bear” personality and is very nurturing around other pets. My home is calm, dog-friendly, and comfortable. About: I have had experience in dog sitting my friends’ dogs in the past. Now I want to do it more and give our dog more friends to play with also! Everybody wins! I can be available on weekdays in the afternoon , and weekends after 10 AM for dog sitting. I can walk dog every 2-4 hours. About: My 16yo Dachshund-mix has been in my family since her puppy years, and in her old age I wanted to maximize her health-span/quality of life. Very big on animal rights as well :) With my normal week schedule being different almost every week it can be hard to find certain days! However, every week I’m open 4 days with my nursing schedule! I grew up in a home with at least three dogs at all times—from gentle Newfoundlands and playful Yorkies to Mastiffs, Golden Retrievers, Poodles, and many more. I’ve helped train many of our family dogs using a variety of training methods and have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Since moving to Columbus a few years ago and getting married, we haven’t welcomed a dog of our own just yet—which means I have plenty of love and attention to give yours! Times gone: Monday 10-6 (work) Tuesday 8:30-4 (work Thursday 8:30-4 (work) Friday 8:00-4 (work) Sunday 10-12 (church) I will treat your pup just like my own! The more information you give me about them, the better! This way I can make sure i’m doing things/caring for them in a way that is the most familiar for them. You can expect quite a few photos of your pup when they are in my care, and quick communication from me as well. I’d love to walk your pup, however long they’re comfortable. Dogs when over our house can roam around wherever while we’re present. I have a guest room to keep them in, if I were not to be home. I can also crate them, as long as that’s provided with them! They are free to sleep on the couch, floor, or bed. We have no pets currently living with us, it is me and my husband. I have experience training dogs in public settings and taking them out and about to pet friendly places. If your dog is already trained and well mannered in public places, I’m more than happy to take them out to places that stimulate them and are pet friendly.
