“Karlina did an outstanding job watching our two dogs when i went out of town. She was prompt every visit and kept me updated on how they were doing. Our dogs loved her. I definitely recommend Karlina to care for your pets and will be using her in the future.”

“She was amazing!!!! Very thoughtful and pleasant!! Throughly followed directions on animal care and made my trip less stressful knowing my fur babies were taken care of!!!! Definitely will be using her again for my next trip!!!!”

“I couldn't have found a better person to take care of my baby girl cat SunElla. I was very nervous about leaving her as it was the first time I was away from her for more than a day and a half. She is three and a half years old and is truly the little love of my life. This was also the first time I ever used Rover.Loni stopped twice a day and very promptly on time. Each time she sent little notes about how my girl was doing what she ate. Pictures, several pictures which just made our time apart so much easier for me and especially for my girl as she is not a cat who likes to be alone. I also trusted Loni the moment I met her with my girl but also with my belongings in my home. She is a very kind lady and you could tell she genuinely cared about taking care of my girl for me. Thank you Loni!”

“Emily was wonderful. Stella is very shy, but she didn’t hide when Emily came. We were very pleased with the care Emily gave Stella. We will definitely have Emily come the next time we’re gone.”

“Sadie was on time and followed our requests for our Beau Beau. She mapped out his walks on our report and sent very cute pictures. Sadie was also very playful with Beau Beau but also spent some time petting and calming him as he has a separation anxiety. Thank you Sadie!”

“Yefan was absolutely amazing, and I truly can’t recommend her enough! We have two senior dogs, so leaving them with someone else is never easy. They both have their own routines and need extra patience and attention, but Yefan took such incredible care of them. From the very beginning, she was thoughtful, responsible, and detail-oriented. She paid close attention to all of our instructions and made sure every little detail was taken care of. Throughout their stay, it was clear that our dogs were not just being watched—they were genuinely being cared for. She made sure they were comfortable, well-fed, and received plenty of love and attention. Senior dogs often need a little extra help and understanding, and Yefan went above and beyond to make sure they felt safe, relaxed, and happy. She also kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It meant a lot to know they were in such capable and caring hands. If you’re looking for someone who is kind, reliable, patient, and truly loves animals, Yefan is the person you want. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her, and we would trust her with our dogs again without hesitation. Thank you so much, Yefan, for treating our pups like your own. We are so grateful for everything you did. Highly, highly recommended!”

“Carolyne, It was a very trying week for you with the winter storm, our unplowed driveway and the door lock problem. Thank you for taking it all in stride and giving excellent care to Jynxie, Boo and Van. I really appreciate all you do and the loving care you provide. Thank you, Donna”

“Leah is wonderful. She did an outstanding job with our two dogs while I was out of town. I could relax knowing that my dogs were in good hands with Leah. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“Emaline is beyond great! This was my first time using the app and she was so helpful to explain everything. She was so kind, followed all requests, sent pictures and updates. Would 100% recommend!”

“Carina checked in on our 2 cats over a long weekend, and we were very pleased with the experience. She was attentive, caring, and went above and beyond to ensure our cats were well taken care of. She even watered our plants without being asked. We’ll definitely be requesting her again in the future!”

I grew up taking care of many types of animals but more specifically dogs. I have 3 dogs of my own, all different breeds and personalities, which really challenged me to be able to learn and grow with taking care of dogs. I am working on opening my own location for a Doggie Day care business but until then I would like to gain even more experience and slowly earn loyal doggie clients. Mainly available for walks 7 days a week. Mostly open for drop ins 5-7 days a week ! I have a flexible schedule for last min bookings My 3 pets are EXTREMELY LOVED and spoiled! They have their own closets, foods, toys and even a room dedicated to my cats and dogs in case they just need that alone time away from the humans ! They receive the upmost care for grooming and vet clinic as well! My wallet is never happy when it comes to my pets because I just find so many ways to love them and spoil them!
“Elaina was wonderful! Great communicator and followed my instructions perfectly. I love that she went the extra mile by bringing in my packages from the porch. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have had dogs in my life since I was a little kid, so very comfortable with pets! I am a nurse currently at OSU so wanting to give back to some dogs near me! Very big on animal rights as well :) With my normal week schedule being different almost every week it can be hard to find certain days! However, every week I’m open 4 days with my nursing schedule! I am more than open to do different things if needed, but really looking at walking, feeding, letting them outside, playing, and just entertaining in general! Not really looking to ever stay overnight anywhere though!

Now that I currently don’t have a dog, being able to help out and watch people’s pets so their not alone is perfect for me! I currently go to school at columbus state and work part time at northstar cafe. Monday - thursday: i have school until 1:00. Friday-Sunday i usually work in the evening but my schedule for work changes frequently For home services I have a small two story house, with no fencing or a yard but will be able to take them on walks.

Most days I work from my home office, but am able to work anywhere there is Wi-Fi. I’m happy to welcome your pet into my home, visit in your home, or provide drop in care. This is the second time Loni has done drop-in visits for my cat, SunElla, who means the world to me. She was even able to find SunElla’s secret hiding spot just so she could get a picture for me, which I was so looking forward to seeing. I appreciate her extra efforts so much. It gives me such peace of mind knowing I can rely on Loni’s services because I know SunElla will be cared for properly. Loni is dependable, friendly, kind, and truly a wonderful person. I am so grateful to have someone I trust to look after my SunElla, who means everything to me. Thank you Loni!

Lauren was once again a perfect sitter for our senior cat! Loved the photos every day and she is always well taken care of. When we were supposed to have winter weather, Lauren also asked what she could do and made sure our thermostat was at a certain temperature as not to have any issues. We are moving out of the area and I know my cat will miss her vacation times with Lauren! Thank you for everything!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
