Hi there, my name is Alex! I have been a Rover caregiver since 2021 and was a full-time dog walker for two years prior to that. I also volunteered with the Humane Society in my hometown, bringing my total hands-on experience with animals to over six years. On top of that, I grew up helping my family raise German Shepherds. I also have a 1.5 year old Rough Collie of my own, so I’m very familiar with puppy behavior, training and socialization. I offer both walking and drop-in services for dogs, as well as drop-in services for cats. Please feel free to check out my reviews and pet photos on my profile to get a sense of my experience and style of care. I’m always mindful of heat safety during the summer months! I know the signs of heat stroke in dogs and always bring water/a portable bowl along. If you have any questions or special requests, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Whether I'm doing an overnight sitting or just dropping in, I make sure to treat clients’ homes with respect and care. I like to stick as close as possible to the pet's usual routine so they feel at ease.

I was really nervous going on vacation and leaving my 17 year old cat at home. Alex did a fantastic job with him and he warmed up to her very quickly and helped put me at ease. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

My schedule is flexible from day to day based on drop-ins or walks I have scheduled. I do this on a full-time basis. Make sure to check my Rover Calendar, I update it regularly!
