“Elaina has been by far the best catsitter we ever worked with! She was very thorough with each visit at following our instructions and kept us updated throughout the visit. We felt so at ease that our boys were safe this past week. Thank you!”

“Madde is the absolute best!! My dog had a medical issue that needed immediate attention and I was thirty minutes away at work, however, Madde took our dog to our vet and waited there with her until I could arrive. She even waited there with me until my dog was released. Madde truly cares about the wellbeing of the animals in her care! She is willing to go above and beyond to make sure they have the best care. We are so very blessed to have Madde as part of our team!!”

“Karlina was an absolute lifesaver! We had a last minute need on a HOLIDAY and she came through. Our dog was immediately smitten with her. We knew Obi was in great hands and we could relax and enjoy our time away. We will DEFINITELY ask Karlina to watch our doggie again.”

“Molly was kind and attentive to our doggies. She was always on time or a little early which is great for us and she is a great communicator. Will recommend her to others and definitely book again in the future! Thank you again Molly!!”

“Emily is always my go-to sitter to drop in on my pup! She is extremely responsive and responds to booking requests within minutes. She is friendly and I know my dog loves her. She sends great updates and is extremely reliable.”

“Cathy has been awesome with our pup Lulu, she goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly!! Lulu absolutely loves Cathy and her daughter, she always sends pictures and updates throughout the visit as well!”

About: I grew up with cats and became a dog owner 20 years ago. I have trained 2 puppies. I have a lot of time on my hands to care for your pets. I am a teacher and I am gone weekdays 6:15-3:30. I do have a daughter that comes home daily from 10:45-11:30 to let the dogs out. I have one Boston Terrier and he loves to play. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of room to run around. My dog can be crated if needed.
“Jacqueline has been so great to work with. She stopped by for a meet and greet with our pups before scheduling her for weekly drop-ins. Jacqueline has been professional, responds quickly, and makes our pups feel comfortable. We're so happy to continue using Jacqueline in the future!”

“Ellen did an amazing job checking in on our kitty while we were on vacation this past week! I enjoyed getting daily updates and pictures while we were away. I could tell she was very well taken care of! She even brought her a catnip toy to play with!”

“Ariel was awesome at letting Rocky out today! Since he's gone blind she is the first one (not family) to come in a let him out. He ate while she was here, which is something he rarely does for even family when we aren't home. He also requests much more rubs and scratches now so I'm pretty sure she has spoiled him for good!!”
About: I have been providing pet sitting services for at least 15 years now for our various personal family friends and others. I love animals and have had pets my whole life. They are my fur babies, and yours will be treated the same! I am a recently retired mom and grandma who has two fur babies. I can provide my own transportation, and I’m available all throughout the day for various times as needed. I would be happy to help you with your fur baby needs. I plan to provide pet care in my client’s home and keep to the same schedule they are used to. It is my goal to make sure they are comfortable and safe before I leave from the visit.
“Brittany was amazing with Emme and Eleanor! It was our first time using a sitter, and she made us feel completely at ease. Great communication, updates, and the dogs were happy and well cared for. Highly recommend!”

“Our first weekend away in a long time, but knowing Annabelle was coming to take care of our dog Teddy really brought me peace! She is incredibly sweet, qualified, and the first time we spoke was for over an hour. Even though sometimes teddy was confused we were gone, Annabelle went above and beyond the call of duty to make him happy. We are extremely grateful and would definitely ask for her help again.”

About: With over 10 years of hands-on experience in my adult life and a lifelong passion for animals, I provide dependable, loving care for your pets as if they were my own. My love for animals started early, growing up on my mother's farm where I cared for everything from cows to chickens to kittens and playful pups. That upbringing taught me responsibility, patience and how to understand animals of all kinds. At my house your pet will find friendship in our 9-year-old doodle, Dani. She is a spayed female who enjoys cuddles and playtime but she's also okay with alone time and love from afar. Your pet will also have lots of options to choose from with back scratches, as our household is full with three children and 2 adults. There is lots of love and can be lots of noise here with our crazy, wonderful kids. Our house is fun. Your pet will love spending time outside in our fenced in yard that is plenty of space to run wild. After they tire themselves out, they can come in and get comfy on the couches or pet beds. I work full time during the weekdays. I am typically home by 4:30pm at the latest. If your pet would need more companionship during the weekdays, then weekends are best for us! If your pet is okay hanging out with another furry friend while we are at work, then weekdays would be fine too. Our weekends are more free. We may run errands around town, but for the most part would be home enjoying our time together. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. That is why my goal is to create an environment that is fun while still safe and comfortable for your pet and for you. Whether it's playtime, walks, or extra cuddles, I'm here to make sure your dog feels happy, secure and right at home with our lively bunch! You will receive frequent pictures and I pride myself in my communication skills. You will never have to know how your pet is doing because you will already know! Enjoy your time away worry free.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Delaware
Thank you so much for taking care of our boys! We had zero stress about traveling away from them which is hard because Wilbur definitely gets Seperation Anxiety but he was super happy to see us and he is being more and more social with everyone now that we keep introducing him to other people. Stewie was also doing great and had zero issues with anything. Molly was wonderful and we would recommend and use her again.

Elaina took wonderful care of Annie while we were away! She was reliable, attentive, and followed all of our instructions perfectly. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Annie was well cared for while we were gone. We came home to a very happy kitty! We would absolutely book with Elaina again and highly recommend her! Thanks so much, Elaina!

Cathy is the best pet sitter! My cat Tigger loves her. She is patient and kind. I don’t know what I would do without her! He takes medication and is 16 years old. I needed someone responsible and she is the best! Thank you Cathy! Tigger says”thank you” too.

Emily always does an amazing job, I have no worries knowing she is caring for my cats while I’m away! She goes above and beyond just the cats, also helping care for my house/plants as well. You can tell she actually enjoys spending time with them and helping out!

Lydia is a wonderful pet care provider!! This is our second booking with her to care for our two cats, Oliver and Nadia. Recently, Oliver has struggled with IBD and Lydia provided extra care to assure us that Oliver was still on the road to recovery. We highly recommend Lydia for your pet care needs!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Delaware. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
