“Jamie is the best ❤️ Our pup loves her so much and there’s nobody we trust more than Jamie to drop in and make sure our pup gets some love and goes out while we’re at work.”

“Danielle was great! She took good care of our two dogs over the weekend. One of which is a deaf rescue who is often leery of strangers. They both warmed right up to her. She sent photos/videos and notes at each visit and you could see that our pups were happy and at ease. I would definitely recommend her services to others and we will use her again in the future! Thanks Danielle! El Jay and Chris Richards”
“Mackenzie was fabulous! Manny was well cared for and happy. I truly appreciate Mackenzie’s attention to detail with Manny’s senior care. I truly appreciated all the pictures and updates! Highly recommend!”

“Bonnie made fast friends with our two cats, one who is usually super shy and hesitant around new people! She took great care of our cats and helped us feel comfortable being away!”

About: I've been dog sitting, dog walking and house sitting since I was in High School. Now, as an adult I want to help out more. Pet care fits perfectly within my college schedule. As classes give me a break to be able to help walk, feed or snuggle your pet. I want to be able to help recreate the normal routine your pet has as much as possible. I feel like taking an animal out of their routine sometimes affects them more than we think.
“Kimberly was wonderful with our 2 little dogs. One of the dogs was scared at first, but Kimberly was very patient with him, and he warmed up to her nicely. She took the time to play with the dogs, and gave them nice walks. One of our dogs at times requires a stroller, and she was very attentive to when he needed to stop walking and ride in the stroller.”

“Meghana was amazing! The check in updates and photos were such a joy to read, especially as my cats warmed up to Meghana! She was thorough and asked great questions up front to learn the kitties! I will definitely rebook when I take my next trip!”

“We have used Ashley several times to take care of our two cats. She is reliable, and takes the best care of them. She sends updates and pictures, which is a relief knowing they are in greats hands. She is able to administer medication too. We will continue using Ashley, and highly recommend her.”

“I was really to have Ashley as the pet sitter for my cat, Neo. She was very professional while also being warm and caring. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Neo was well looked after and comfortable with her. I would happily recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind pet sitter!”

“Tracy is very professional, very helpful! We had a meet and greet beforehand, which was really necessary in terms of communication of what’s our need. She makes our boys so happy when we need the visit service, and also fulfill all our needs. Will definitely continue to use the service in the future! Highly recommended!”

About: I grew up on a farm, so I took care of cats, dogs, and various other farm type animals like horses and cows quite frequently. I also have a cat and two dogs back home that I take care of whenever I go back home. I’m currently waiting to hear back from multiple full time jobs, however this can take a while so at the moment I am usually free 24/7 for any pets who need taken care of! If I was to take a dog to my home, I have plenty of space for them to roam around inside as well as plenty of places outdoors to walk, or even go to the dog park if they enjoy going there. My apartment is perfect for a cat as well because there are plenty of windows for sunbathing and comfortable places to take naps, and for more active cats there is plenty of indoor space to play.
About: I have lived with and cared for both cats and dogs my entire life! Caring for animals is something I take seriously, and I always make sure they feel at home. It is my privilege to give your pets a safe, fun, and stress free experience when you can’t be with them. I balance a full time role with flexible availability to give your pets consistent, loving care during the week. I also have open availability on the weekends. I provide hands on, attentive care whether pets are in my home or theirs. I stick to their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved by giving them consistent attention, keeping their environment clean, and treating them like my own pets
“She came to feed the animals so she can get used to feeding them the week we are gone. I had typed her out how to feed them and she did very good, and since it’s the same with them she will get very used to feeding them. Feel relaxed knowing my babies will be taken care of.”

“Emily saved the day! My travel home got diverted. I had to spend an additional night “on the road.” Emily was able to add an extra drop-in visit for my critters with less than 24 hours notice. Not all super-heroes wear capes! 🫶🏻”

“I can’t say enough about how pleased we are with Kyra. She responds really promptly and is easy to work with. She gave exceptional care to our finicky, shy cat Rudy. He loved her!”
“Erica was so great with my two dogs! She treated them like her own and I could always rely on her to be there when she said she would be. She provides excellent care and I will recommend her to anyone needing help with their pets in the future!”

About: I worked at a kennel for a year growing up and consistently volunteered at animal friends. In Pittsburgh I had a small pet sitting business within my neighborhood. I have taken care of dogs, cats, reptiles, hedgehogs, guinea pigs and birds. I’m between jobs currently so I have a lot of availible time. Would love to go on some walks during the day or explore some parks. Otherwise just spending time with the pet! I would follow all instructions set by the owner for keeping the pet safe in their home, yard or area. My neighborhood is very walkable and there is green space around if that is an option
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Dublin is $20
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Dublin
Erin was a wonderful sitter! The cats really took to her and even greeted her at the door, which says a lot. She was always prompt, kept them on their regular schedule, and took great care of everything. She made sure the litter boxes were clean, their food and water were always fresh, and, of course, gave them lots of pets and attention. It was clear she genuinely cared about them, and I had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands.

Bonnie was very attentive to Jack. He takes a while to warm up but she spent the time to get to know him and he had a great week. She was consistent with her updates & photo reports allowing us to know he was being well taken care of. Thank you so much Bonnie for allowing us to enjoy our time away! And I know Jack appreciated all the love too😀.

Danielle was wonderful. She was very prompt in communication, flexible in her schedule, and quick to learn about our cat’s unique needs, and made accommodations to take care of her, including administering medication. She loving care for our cat made us feel at ease while away. Will hire Danielle again.

Ashley provided the best experience for not only our pets, but for us as owners. She is professional, kind and helpful in all the best ways. We really appreciated being able to feel relaxed while away from our pets because Ashley earned our trust very quickly. Can’t wait to book again!

Erica was so great with our kitties while we were away. She had come over to meet them and go over care instructions before we left, so we felt comfortable knowing they were going to be well taken care of. She sent daily pictures and updates, which helped keep us in the loop on how they were doing. One of our kitties had a birthday while we were away and Erica went above and beyond to celebrate her, which meant the world as a pet parent! We will definitely be asking for her help again next time we need help caring for our cats.

Ashley was fantastic with our three older dogs over the long weekend! Taking care of senior pups can be a lot to manage, but she handled everything with incredible patience and professionalism. Her communication was great, and we returned home to happy, well-cared-for dogs. We’re so grateful to have found such a reliable, compassionate sitter and would definitely book Ashley again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
