“Leann was great with a special request for my indoor/outdoor cat and was super timely with her questions and keeping me updated! I booked with her immediately after her first visit for another weekend. Highly recommend!”

“Abby was amazing! She was very friendly and easy to communicate with. She went above and beyond, staying past the requested time which I really appreciated. Looking forward to booking her again!”

“Taylor was absolutely fantastic while caring for my dogs, Mango and Mars. From the moment she arrived, it was clear how comfortable and happy they felt around her. She handled their different personalities with ease—Mango’s playful energy and Mars’s more relaxed vibe—and made sure each of them got exactly the kind of attention they needed. Taylor kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. I could tell she wasn’t just “watching” them; she was genuinely engaged, patient, and caring. When I returned, both dogs were calm, content, and clearly well‑loved. I highly recommend Taylor to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and truly wonderful dog sitter. Mango and Mars adore her, and so do I.”

“Rachel was absolutely wonderful with my 3 month old puppy, Olive! She came to our home twice on Tuesday for an hour long visit each time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Rachel was incredibly attentive—she took Olive outside, spent lots of time playing with her, and even worked on teaching her new commands. It was clear that Rachel truly loves animals and took amazing care of my sweet girl. Olive had a great time and got both the exercise and mental stimulation she needed. I would absolutely recommend Rachel to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and great with dogs!”

“Vanessa was fantastic at taking care of my two cats over a period of 10 days. She was very punctual, communicative and attentive, I will for sure trust her with my kitties in a future outing. Thanks Vanessa!”

“Emma was amazing with my cat, Toast! She was communicative, reliable, and even stayed extra some nights to give him more cuddles and attention. I felt completely comfortable trusting her with my home and pet, and I'd definitely recommend her to others.”

“Taylor was prompt in her replies, even when I did a last minute booking! She was great with the kiddos, they were taken care of very well. My dog Vali got nice walks and lots of pets. Taco, my cat definitely appreciated the timely meals 😆, churu treats ☺️ and play time. Definitely will continue with her for future bookings.”

“Sally is the best ever! Luna loves Sally so much and had an instant bond with her. She is super trust worthy and does an amazing job. She gives the best updates daily and takes endless photos! We love Sally!”

“I sent Ioana the request on short notice, and she was very happy to help. She sent photos for every visit, and even took extra time to play with the cats.”

“Cindy was amazing and went above and beyond for my girl! When my dog was sick during the days she was dropping in on her, Cindy went out of her way to check in on her a second time just to make sure she was safe. I 100% trust and recommend Cindy!!”

“Lauren was terrific with my two cats. She helped us out on short notice, even doing a drop in visit on the day she was moving out of town. She communicated quickly and sent great photos and updates. Highly recommend!”

“Thea went above and beyond caring for our diabetic, elderly kitty. While we were away she kept us informed, sent us pics and videos of our sweet boy.”

About: Hey there! I’m a 22 year-old, incoming medical student at OSU who has absolutely loved dogs my entire life. I have the cutest mini goldendoodle at home (shoutout Cooper) and have taken care of him for five and a half awesome years! I also used to live with a golden retriever puppy for two years during college and adored taking her on walks/looking after her when my roommate was out of town:) I’m currently taking a break before school starts up in August so I will have plenty of time to keep your pets company! I will also continue my services during the school year primarily on weekends and a couple weekdays, depending on my exam schedule. My dog (Cooper) likes the indoors, so I mostly keep him inside. However, I am extremely comfortable with keeping pets company outside if they are fenced in! I also take Cooper on long walks in the mornings and evenings plus a shorter walk in the middle of the day! I would be happy to do the same with your pups or walk your pets according to the schedule you already have in place for them.
“Elizabeth was super reliable with twice-a-day visits, and so loving with Oliver! He loved her from the moment they met, and she executed all of his needs (food, vitamins/meds, treats, potty breaks -- everything!) with total ease. She took a picture each time, and reported any concerns right away. Elizabeth truly went above and beyond. I could not recommend her more highly!”

“My cat looked so happy in the photos and im very thankful to have had Sadie-Jean be the one to check-in on him and not only give him attention but play with him and treat him like the king he thinks he is. Thank you so much!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Grandview Heights
Leann is amazing and attentive, and takes such good care of our cat! This time she helped us over a holiday week, and I was so happy she was available again. Feel free to review my previous glowing review :) I felt bad that we had ants taking over the food bowls on her first morning here, but she came up with a plan and saved the day(s)! Our cat loves her and all the extra head scritches he gets when she’s here. Thanks again, I appreciate both the pet care and the heads up and vigilance with the house stuff when we are away

Thea has basically become a professional photographer with the incredible action shots she sends of Sasquatch - my friends and family love to see them! Thea turns what would be a stressful experience for Sasquatch into a fun special visit that I know Squatch loves. Thank you Thea!!

Lauren took great care of our golden retriever Beau while we were gone for the day! Lauren was very friendly, caring, had great communication, and provided updates and photos! Beau was very happy, and we will definitely book with Lauren again in the future!

Sadie-Jean is incredible at her job. The thorough updates and pictures make me feel comforted as I’m away. She’s amazing with instructions and demonstrates amazing attention to detail. I think I trust her with my cat more than myself! I highly recommend anyone utilizing her services!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
