About: Growing up on a farm taught me to care for all animals with gentleness and respect. I have eperience training our puppy who is now 3 years old. I am all about rewards for positive behavior! I work remotely as an artist and I am a stay at home mom! My week days are very flexible since I make my own schedule. I am available Monday-Saturday anytime from 8-5, unless otherwise noted. I play interactive games with our dog and love taking her on long walks. Fun exercise is so good for dogs! I will do the same for your pups as I do my own.

About: Hi there! I’m Amy, a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to Riley, a sweet and sensitive 3 year old Mini Australian Shepherd. Growing up with two family dogs, I’ve always felt most at home with a furry friend by my side - and I’d love to help care for yours too. I’m from the DC area, lived in NYC and Philly after college, and moved to Columbus in fall of 2024 with my partner Jake. We live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home on the border of Victorian Village and Harrison West. We both work from home and have a fenced backyard, so your dog will have plenty of space to explore and lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your pup is playful or prefers alone time, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, respected and loved. Riley is an anxious guy himself, so I have a soft spot (and lots of experience!) for dogs who are nervous and/or reactive. I believe in patient, positive reinforcement and always move at your dog’s pace - whether that’s slow introductions, extra snuggles, or just giving them space to settle in. If you’d like, we can set up a meet-and-greet so I can learn all about your dog’s unique personality and needs! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m home the majority of the day, so I’m able to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime and companionship. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment. I’m mindful of each dog’s personality and I follow their usual routines as closely as possible to help them feel at ease. If your pup prefers alone time, I make sure they have a quiet space to relax without pressure. I also use positive reinforcement to build trust, especially for anxious or reactive dogs.

“Katie is a gem! She took excellent care of our normally anxious beagle and our playful Boston Terrier. Needless to day, they were on their best behavior and tuckered out when I picked them up at the end of the day. Katie is kind, warm and understanding. She makes sure all the dogs are comfortable with one another before the day begins - something I appreciate. I'll definitely be using Katie again!”

About: Hello! My name is Siri and I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I have lots of experience with cats, dogs, and even lizards! I grew up with large dogs (newfoundlands, to be exact) so they don't scare me away. I am very active so I am more than happy to run with your dog too if you'd prefer a more active walk for them! I raised my own dog from puppyhood and have personally crate trained her, potty trained her, and taught her 15+ tricks/commands. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and I am in the office from 8am - 5pm) Tues-Thurs. I usually take breaks during my work from home days to walk/play with the animals. I have a water carrier/bowl combo bottle for dogs if they get thirsty during their walk, and I also keep treats on me to work on any leash reactivity (using positive reinforcement training). My own dog gets walked four times a day. My cat has a water fountain and lots of toys. The litterboxes are cleaned daily and deep cleaned once a month. My cat is fed on a schedule (once in the morning and once in the evening) but I am happy to accomodate any feeding preferences for my clients pets.

8. Amy B.
“Amy B has experience with a variety of animals. She grew up on a farm and has worked with cattle, horses, dogs, cats, sheep, and chickens. Amy is a current dog owner and I have never doubted the safety or well-being of her dog. She has a fenced in yard with room for a dog to enjoy time in and outside. Growing up on a farm taught Amy the value of animal life and the responsibility of caring for animals. She is a dedicated wife and mother and values life. She is confident but not cocky. She is not afraid of hard work. I have witnessed Amy care for her pet by taking her to dog parks, on walks, playing with her, keeping her groomed, and making sure she is watched by a responsible person when she and her family are out of town. I have benefited from knowing Amy personally and would recommend her as a dog walker or sitter to anyone.”
