Your Pet’s New Favorite Human 🐾
Hello! My name is Andrea - your pet’s new (2nd) favorite human. Having grown up in a home full of animals my whole life, and now having my own fur babies, I personally understand what a big ask it is to trust someone with your furry family member(s). I also know what it’s like when that trust is broken, and it’s not a feeling I’d wish on anyone. That’s why I take the responsibility of caring for your best friend very seriously. Whether it’s a walk around the block, a drop-in, or longer-term sitting requests, constant and clear communication is essential for building and maintaining that trust. While I do not have a yard, I do have a spacious 2-floor apartment in an area that is super walkable and dog friendly! There’s also a dog park near by if your dog is friendly with other dogs. We would only visit the dog park with your permission, of course! Both my cat and dog are very friendly and tolerant of other cats and dogs. My mission is to spoil your fur baby like they’re my own so you have peace of mind while you’re away.

I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine - feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. That way they feel comfortable and stress free while you’re away. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise and affection, while also keeping a close eye on their behavior, appetite, and overall well-being. I’m very attentive to details and will always follow any special instructions regarding medication, training preferences or house rules. I can assist with bringing in mail or packages and will make sure everything is locked and secure when I leave. And, most importantly, I’ll provide regular updates with photos & videos to keep your mind at ease!

Andrea is truly incredible! The best dog walker, send pictures, and is very timely with her responses! I strongly recommend her to anyone wanting someone to take your energetic puppy out for a walk :)

As her sister, I can confidently say that Andrea is a wonderful, capable, patient, an loving pet caregiver. She grew up with dogs of various sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments. Whether it be a lazy golden retriever, high energy golden doodle, anxious chow-chow mix, 3-legged lhasa apso-brussels terrier, or any other breed, Andrea knows how to accommodate and adapt to any animals' needs. She is diligent about reinforcing training commands, and vigilant of what/how they are communicating to her. Andrea also has many years of experience with cats; family cats, her own cats, or roommates & friends cats. Therefore, she is well versed in the various personalities and needs of feline pets. Andrea is also a friendly, easy person to communicate with. Having experienced her fair share of scary situations with her own pets, she is patient, compassionate, and considerate of the concerns and priorities of other pet-parents. You can have full confidence that Andrea will give your pet all the love, attention, care, and accommodation they uniquely need, all while giving you peace of mind and reassurance as a pet-parent.

I work from home Monday-Friday, so my availability through the week is very flexible, and my weekends are usually wide open! My calendar will be updated regularly.
