“I can’t say enough great things about Audrey, our amazing pet sitter for Coco! From the very beginning, Audrey has been reliable, punctual, and incredibly responsive whenever I need to get in touch. She follows all of my instructions with care and attention to detail. What really sets Audrey apart is how engaged and loving she is with Coco. She takes the time to play with her and makes sure she feels comfortable and happy. I especially appreciate the daily photo updates and notes about Coco’s activities—it's so important when I'm away. Audrey is truly a gem, and I’m so grateful to have found someone I can trust completely with my pet. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, responsible, and attentive caregiver.”

“Khalia took care of our two cats while we were away, and we are very happy to have left our little guys in her care. She sent us pictures each time she went to fed/take care of them, and helped out with one of the cats' medication. It was great to know/feel they were in good hands!”

“Abby is top-notch! She is genuinely caring, loves pets and really makes our dog feel just like she’s being cared for by us! She even celebrated our pup’s birthday with a trip to get a frozen dog bday treat. ❤️”

“Kimberly was an awesome pet sitter and we will certainly use her again. My kitties are older and so it is important that we use a sitter who will closely monitor them to make sure they are doing well while we are away. Kimberly took great care of our three cats and spent time interacting and playing with them on visits, which was important to me. Her communication after the visits was excellent. Thank you Kimberly!”

“Emily is excellent, she has a very kind and gentle demeanor and was great with my old arthritic dog. I can't wait for her watch my dog again. Highly recommend her and trust her.”

“Second time having Alexis sit for my cat and does a great job making sure to feed her, clean the litterbox, and play with her. Alexis takes great care of my cat and sends me adorable photos and other updates if necessary. My cat is always happy when I return and am glad that Alexis can help out when I am unable to.”

“Carina is wonderful! From the look of the photo’s she sent me our dog and cat were both very happy in her company. This was a very pleasant surprise, as our cat is very skittish and generally won’t make an appearance around strangers. Thank you Carina !!!”

“Quinn was the most thoughtful pet sitter we’ve ever had. Our cat isn’t a fan of most people but she took to Quinn so quickly and seemed so happy while we were gone. I will definitely be using them again in the near future!”

“Ryan was thorough, capable of following my directions, and did the job with pride-- I felt incredibly safe with him working with my cats and their needs! He was able to work with changes in directions, had experience giving liquid medications by mouth, and was punctual and timely in his visits. About: I have owned, fostered, and volunteered with animals for over 10 years. Not only that, I have experience with providing animal therapy in a clinical setting for the last two years. Dogs and cats hold a big piece of my heart and I genuinely love to accommodate to their needs. I have experience raising puppies and kittens, taking care of elderly cats and dogs, and dogs and cats that have behavioral problems. I am familiar on how to care for dogs that have aggressive tendencies, anxiety, and hip problems. Likewise, I have experience handling cats with aggression and timidness. I am a small business owner and have days where I work from home. I could use that time to not only make extra money, but spend time with dogs and cats as well! I make sure to provide as much affection, activity, and attention to my pets to the best of my ability. Which I ensure the same treatment is given to your pets too. Depending on what service you would like me to provide, I am more than happy to go on long walks with your dog, offer enrichment, or maybe you have a lapdog that just needs a temporary companion. I am dependable and have the experience and genuine care and trust to ensure your pet has the best experience possible.
“Jennie goes above and beyond to give our pets love and attention!! She is super reliable and a great communicator, very easy to work with. She makes the whole process so easy, highly recommend!”

“Marie did a fantastic job with Snippet and Milky Way. She played with them both every day when visiting, and she was very communicative both before and during her stay.”

About: I've lived with pets my whole life and have found a passion for caring for animals with the same love you have for them! I specialize in cats of all ages and dogs over the age of one. I've had about 5 years of experience in working with anxious dogs who are scared of everything - very used to taking a long time to grt scaredy dogs outside. With that, I'm very experienced in delivering medications or cleaning up messes. I understand how stressed our fur babies feel when we need to leave them and my main goal is to make them as comfortable as absolutely possible. I work full time Monday-Friday but do have some work from home days during the week. I would be more than happy to visit your home during the day for walks or quick take outs! I am also happy to come visit you and your fur babies at anytime to get a better idea of your schedule. I am working on getting Fear Free certified and would be more than happy to provide that certification once acquired. I would be happy to crate your pets if needed. I'll send plenty of photos and updates throughout my visit!

Mariya was a real life saver and did an amazing job looking after my cat over a holiday weekend!! I had left some pretty specific instructions and she was very nice and communicative if she had any questions or concerns. It was a huge relief to have her checking in on him.

Ryan was thorough, capable of following my directions, and did the job with pride-- I felt incredibly safe with him working with my cats and their needs! He was able to work with changes in directions, had experience giving liquid medications by mouth, and was punctual and timely in his visits. I would definitely recommend Ryan and hope he gets plenty of opportunities to continue petsitting in the future, thank you again!

Birdie is so kind and professional. She took care of our two cats while we were on vacation abroad for 2 weeks. Our cats loved her which I think says a lot about a person. She sent so many lovely photos of them. It gave us reassurance that they were acting how they normally do!

Corey was an amazing Rover sitter! He was on time, took wonderful care of my cat, and went above and beyond by washing all of the food and water bowls before I got home. My cat had a great play session, and Corey sent lots of adorable photos and updates throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I always knew how my cat was doing. I would absolutely book Corey again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter!

Angela is the best of the best!! She always ensures my cats are doing well and goes far out of her way to make sure they are good when they aren’t feeling well or seem off! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a cat sitter, I can’t imagine there being a better person to check in on my cats!

Amy was the best! I was looking for an experienced cat person to take care of our crew as two of four have health issues, and I’m so glad I found Amy. She reported on all the intricacies of each of their personalities, sent photos/videos, brought a laser pointer along to give them some entertainment and even tracked down our scaredy cat just to make sure he was okay. I’d definitely use Amy anytime I go out of town!

Another wonderful experience with Kaitlyn taking care of Patsy. She does exactly what she’s asked to do, and then some. She’s attentive, takes excellent care of her clients, and her communication is spot on. Not that I want her to get booked up, but if you’re hesitant about this young lady to take care of your pet, don’t be.. they are in great hands. Thank you again Kaitlyn

Haleigh came everyday at the exact time she said she would be there. She did a pre-visit to meet them and was easy to get in contact with while I was gone. She would send me pictures and updates. She also took in a few packages that had arrived at my house. I know my kitties loved her! I would recommend her.

Audrey is an amazing Rover sitter! She always responds quickly, is consistently available, and goes above and beyond in the care she provides. Coco loves her, and I always feel comfortable knowing she is in good hands. Highly recommend Audrey if you’re looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
