“Absolutely love! Olivia is the very best sitter we’ve ever had. She’s all in! Chloe loved being with Olivia. She took excellent care of Chloe. She fed and gave her medication and walked and played with Chloe. Will definitely book Olivia again!! Thanks for your great care!”

“We love Selena! She’s always on time and takes great care of our Golden Retrievers. Our doorbell camera showed that she looks around to make sure no one is watching when and where she puts our key. She’s very respectful and thoughtful of our home and takes great care of our dogs!”

“Danielle was fantastic! We have two pups that have some trust issues, but they quickly warmed up to Danielle. Our pups appreciated her calm and confident attitude. We will definitely rebook!”

“Meg was wonderful with Mr. Dennis! He is an anxious boy and it was great knowing I didn’t have to worry about him while I was away. I got plenty of updates throughout my trip and and I know he was cared for!”

“We greatly appreciate Amy as we needed an in-house sitter for our pets on a short notice. She is experienced, kept us updated, and care for our pets like she would her own.”

About: We have had dogs the majority of our lives! During childhood I had a Pomeranian mix named Snoopy! In high school a Yorkie Poo named Lily that recently passed after a fulfilling life of 17 years. Matthew has raised Huskies, Pit Bulls, a beloved Australian Shepherd who was with him for 18 years until her passing as well as several cats! We currently have three Shih Tzus named Hank (3 years) Angus (5 years) and Melody (7 years). You will also hear them referred to as the HAM Squad! Hank & Angus I had the joy of raising since puppyhood at 8 weeks old and Melody became the first fur family member at 1.5 years. We truly love them as if they were my own children 🙂. We have the patience for puppies and senior dogs as well as small (stubborn) breeds and multiples! We have also become the neighborhood rescuers for lost dogs or strays! See Zeus (the husky) who we reunited with his family and Tater (the beagle mix) we reunited with her family after a night with us on Christmas! I currently work full time with flexibility, but I am primarily available on the weekends and evenings during the week. Matthew is my partner and has more availability during the week ☺️ But we are open to scheduling based on availability and your needs! As a fur parents and and an advocate for animals through my employer and the local humane society we will provide the best care to your fur babies and treat them as if they were our own. We are dependable, prefer open and quick communication, and will give your pet a happy experience and provide you peace of mind!
About: I’ve been a dog sitter for friends and family over the years since I can remember. I volunteer at the Athens dog shelter in my college town (Athens) and I love meeting the new dogs. I grew up always with 2 dogs in our home and they were the best part. I currently am working from 6:30am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday and would have time before or after to take care of your pet. Also I am available on weekends When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and stress-free. I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions carefully while giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment, keep their space clean, and provide regular updates so owners feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away.
“We are so thankful for Jennifer! She watched our pets over Easter weekend and did a phenomenal job. We received regular updates along with pictures, and we came home to a happy house. We would absolutely use her again.”

“As soon as I met Loren I felt completely comfortable leaving our 15 month old pampered Coton de Tulear with her. She sent me great pictures that showed Moppie was relaxed and happy. I would not hesitate to get her to dog sit again!”

“Jamie was amazing with my two crazy boys! I felt super comfortable with her and her daughter at my place and she sent me messages / pictures all weekend. I’ve already booked her again! You won’t regret choosing her to take care of your pets.”

“Alanis was great! When she met Swirly, Swirly was a bit anxious and crazy. Alanis took it in stride and was undeterred. She was able to handle Swirly swimmingly well, took her on hikes, and sent cute pictures. I would definitely recommend!”

“Holly is absolutely amazing with our dogs! They love her and she loves them! She takes lots of photos for us during her stay. She sends updates and is a pure delight to have at our home! We consider her family now. ☺️”

“Stephanie was very responsive and took really good care of Indi. She gave us daily updates and left the house clean. Would book again and recommend her to friends and family.”

“Anna was beyond amazing! She watched my dog for a week while I was out of town and was very communicative, checking in with me every day and sending photos and videos. I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with her and am so excited to have found Anna so she can help watch my pup again in the future! I can’t recommend her enough!! :)”

We are so thankful for how communicative, quick, and incredibly thorough Christine is with our pup Karl!! Her genuine, day-to-day care for him is truly above and beyond. With that said our flight was rerouted while in the air due to weather and Christine was watching the flights and as soon as she saw that she texted me that she was already in route back to our home! I could not have been more panicked due to how late it was and had zero ways to get ahold of anyone to help. When we landed my 1st text was from her saying she was on her back to take care of our Karl and that could not have been more of blessing. The peace of mind she gave us in such a stressful moment, well we are forever grateful! 🙏 we were stuck, exhausted, and she was on it! We cannot recommend Christine enough!!! What she did was so far above and beyond, we will always appreciate her for it! Thank you Christine!!! 🙏❤️🙏

Amy did a great job (again) watching our boy! We always get plenty of updates so we know exactly what is going on and feel completely comfortable that he is in good hands while we are away and always come home to a perfectly clean house, which is a lovely bonus. Thanks for taking great care of Jackson! He looks forward to his next hang session with you :)

I have a deep admiration for Isabel, appreciative of her nurturing and affection for animals, as well as her understanding and empathy. Upon relocating to Dayton with three of my beloved animals, I was experiencing immense anxiety and frustration due to our recent separation prior to the move. Isabel not only agreed to meet with us multiple times to familiarize herself with the animals before my departure, but also displayed exceptional responsiveness and compassion towards our situation. She diligently followed all provided instructions and consistently kept me informed of their well-being. Isabel's compassionate nature and willingness to accommodate our needs made this transition seamless and stress-free. I wholeheartedly endorse her as a reliable, caring, and devoted companion for your furry family members.

Hannah was a FANTASTIC dog/house sitter! She sent daily updates and pictures of our precious fur-baby and was so quick with communication and check-ins. Knowing she was there to keep things running smoothly while we were out of town gave us so much peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again! Thank you, Hannah, for allowing me to sleep knowing our doggo was so loved by you!

Great experience with Abigail! Abigail helped to look after our pets while we took 5 days to Michigan. This was our first experience using Rover to hire someone to House/dog sit. Before this experience, we have used local kennels and vet's office. After an initial visit, Abigail agreed to watch our Cooper and Pearl. She asked our preferences throughout, sent pictures and updates each day. She was completely flexible when first arrival/last potty break. She took care of our pets and our house well, and seemed to take the time to get to know them. We will be lucky to get to use her services for our future trips! Thanks again to Abigail

Katie stayed with our dog Mabel & cat Louie for a week. It’s always hard to leave your pets for vacation, especially trusting someone new. But they honestly could have not been in better hands! Katie was the best pet sitter we’ve ever had! She gave us daily several very detailed updates about our furry babies & their routines and added lots of pictures & videos. We could clearly see in those pictures how comfortable they are with her. They got lots of love for sure! She also did a fantastic job taking our lazy old girl out for walks which is not always easy. She can be pretty stubborn 😅 the house was left super clean which I also very much appreciate. With no doubt we will book her again and hope that she’s available next time we leave town. I’m sure our pets will be excited to see her! I absolutely recommend Katie! :)
