About: I have been providing pet sitting services for at least 15 years now for our various personal family friends and others. I love animals and have had pets my whole life. They are my fur babies, and yours will be treated the same! I am a recently retired mom and grandma who has two fur babies. I can provide my own transportation, and I’m available all throughout the day for various times as needed. I would be happy to help you with your fur baby needs. I plan to provide pet care in my client’s home and keep to the same schedule they are used to. It is my goal to make sure they are comfortable and safe before I leave from the visit.

I’m currently open to working full-time up until August 24th when I start back at my job. I can provide short and long term stays as needed. I pride myself on providing a safe and loving environment for your fur-baby. My background in animal care is something I highly value as this helps me connect with others.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since was 12! I used to check dogs in the neighborhood! I’ve even stayed at a house for two weeks taking care of two dogs one extremely geriatric. I am good with giving medication to dogs, getting them a daily walk, making sure they have frequent potty breaks, and a whole lot of belly rubs!! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already care for my own dog every day. I’m used to walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. In my home or a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, potty breaks, medication, exercise, and routines. I always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and creating a calm, trustworthy environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for.

About: I love dogs. I have three at home. I would say I am well mannered and patient as well as attentive to their needs. I’ve had many experiences pet sitting and understand the expectations that are required to care for fur babies. I hope you will consider me! I currently don’t have a full-time job so I’m free anytime and for anything pet parents might need for their fur babies! Please consider me! Having multiple pets in my own home makes cleaning more of a chore so I try to keep everything as clean as possible. My dogs are on an invisible fence and have the whole yard to roam but I still try and play with them as much as I can. I would say I am a cleanly person and would help animals in any way I can!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats alike since I was 9 years old. I was hired for two months consecutively by a family in Indian Hill twice this year to stay with their lovely lab and have taken care of pets in the Cincinnati area for some years now, and for some cats and dogs for months at a time due to travel. I have one kitty of my own and have owned cats and worked with dogs my whole life. Since I've just moved back to the Marysville region I'd love to get settled before bringing your babies to my home, but I have plenty of free time to travel between the Marysville, Dublin, Columbus, and Delaware regions to spend time playing, take them for walks, feed, and comfort your loved ones. I am very dedicated to ensuring your little guys get the best care and snuggles, I do well to be attentive to any requests and instructions you may have as each pet is so unique and need different levels of care. Don't hesitate to reach out and ask any questions as I'm new to this specific platform! I currently am in the process of getting a part-time position as I've just moved back and have plenty of time to watch your little guys! I always ensure I have all the instructions I need for each pet and home before heading there. I love to build professional relationships with clients, so they know who I am and what I stand for: great care for your pets. I do my best to make sure the pets are well taken care of, groomed, get their exercise, and comforted along with ensuring the home is in its original state or better before I head home!
About: What sets me apart is my 15+ years of hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities plus four years as a vet tech assistant, where I learned to safely give medications, monitor health, and care for dogs with special needs. I’ve fostered everything from tiny puppies (two litters during Covid!) to a young German Shepherd named Maggie, which taught me patience, gentle training, and how to make even the shyest dogs feel at home. I work from home at a tech startup, so most of the day your pup will have me at their disposal! I’m also available for boarding on weekends. I love taking dogs on daily walks around the city to explore and get plenty of exercise. At home, your pup will be part of my family and get plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles. I share my home with Sonny, my easygoing border collie mix, who’s been my best friend for four years. He loves every dog he meets whether they want to play or just coexist peacefully so your pup will have a friendly companion if they’d like one.

About: I’ve always enjoyed being around animals and understand how important it is to treat every pet with patience, care, and attention. I’m dependable, responsible, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and giving them plenty of attention. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is doing well. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m able to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for. I make sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, meals, potty breaks, and companionship they need rather than rushing through visits. I’m comfortable adjusting my schedule to follow each pet’s established routine and providing consistent care throughout the day. I also make communication a priority, so pet parents can expect updates and photos while they’re away. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and close attention to their individual needs. Before each booking, I make sure I understand the pet’s routine, feeding instructions, walking preferences, medications if applicable, and any behaviors or special instructions I should be aware of. Safety is my priority, so I keep pets supervised, make sure doors and gates are secure, and follow their normal routines as closely as possible. I’m also respectful of my client’s home and make sure everything is left clean and secure. I want both pets and their owners to feel comfortable, so I provide regular updates and photos and communicate promptly if anything seems unusual. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and loved while their family is away

About: I have taken care of coaches dogs, teachers dogs, and neighbors animals too. I have supplement and medication experience for dogs and especially coaxing them to take it. :) Having 7 dogs teaches you some stuff. I take care of animals everyday due to the fact that I have so many dogs. It’s daily for me so it comes naturally to take care of a dog. Additionally I have had cats so I do know how to take care of cats. I make sure when in my clients home that the dogs or cats are well played with, exercised, and fed. My main goal is to make sure that the pet is okay and no accidents or pieces of special items to you don’t get eaten or chewed on. ;)

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
