“Kirsten and Nicolas were great! They sent pics during the whole stay and were very communicative. They also have a fenced in back yard that they let the dogs run around in. They updated us when the pups appetites were low, which I really appreciated. Both of our dogs tend to be anxious without us because they aren’t used to used to being alone, so it was also a big plus that they work from home. In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. “Caitlyn is wonderful! I love my kitties above all else, and worry to death over leaving them. I had to leave them for a week-long work trip for the first time in a new community. She came over beforehand and I could tell she was very organized and caring. She asked a lot of good questions that showed she has experience, things I would not have thought of. She came every day and sent me an update and lots of pictures. I always knew what was going on each day, even that my basement had flooded a little from the rain we got! About: I’ve been around and have taken care of my own dogs since I was 10, any age, any size. For as long as I can remember I’ve never not had a dog of my own. They were not lying when they said dogs are a man’s best friend. I treat my fur baby like he is my literal baby because in a sense he is. And I treat any other dog just the same! :) I work full time m-f 9-5. I let my own fur baby out of the cage and he is monitored on a camera and watches tv while I am away. I can easily leave your fur baby out or they can be crated. I come home on lunch break to take Gravel out. I can only do boarding during the week but I have open full availability on the weekends. My own fur baby eats 2 times a day one morning one night. Gets treats often 🤭 and gets all the cuddles. I will treat your dog with the very same love and care as I do mine. Gravel is very loving and has been begging me for a play mate. Can’t wait to see where this goes.

About: My whole life there was an animal in my household. So ever since I was 5 years old I would help out. It started off as just feeding the dogs but as I got older I gained more and more experience. About: Growing up on a farm set the stage for providing and caring for all sorts of animals. Many years spent showing horses, lambs, goats, market hogs and all sorts of small animals in 4H. After college I started working with standardbred race horses as a groom. Since then for the past 6 years I have worked with racehorses, broodmares and foals. I am currently going to school to become a veterinary technician because of my passion for animals! I’ve dealt with every age before from puppies to senior dogs, so I’m no stranger to clean up and administering medication. I guarantee I will treat your animals with the love and care they deserve! I work part time currently but will be having a lot more availability as I go back to school. I should be available everyday as times may vary. I always take proper precautions when taking care of animals, especially outside. Depending on owners preference, I will always make sure they are with me in the safety of a yard or on a leash. They will always remain with me and in my sight.
About: I have trained many dogs through my life. I now live alone and I have trained two beautiful puppies while being in college and I adore them so so much. Dogs in my care stay in a calm, structured, and enrichment-based environment that helps them feel secure and relaxed. My home is designed with safety in mind, with separate rest areas, and consistent supervision. We have 5 acres of land. Our fence is in progress right now but we have never had an issue! As a full-time trainer, I understand canine body language and group dynamics deeply. I make sure each dog’s play, rest, and social time match their comfort level. New dogs are introduced slowly and respectfully so they can settle in at their own pace. I keep routines predictable and communication clear so dogs always know what to expect. About: I was fortunate to spend 4 years at Pennsylvania State University experiencing and learning companion and exotic animal: care, nutrition and behavior. Since graduation I have worked 2 and 1/2 years as a veterinarian’s assistant and receptionist, which has given me great experiences. Additionally, since I was in high school I have enjoyed pet sitting for my friends and neighbors, I have started pet sitting for my clinic’s clients and would be happy to do more for the community. I am currently working 3 and 1/2 days during the week. I am completely open on Wednesdays, Thursday mornings and weekends. However, with at least 2 weeks notice I can be flexible about the days I have off my full time job. I am very amenable to your pets needs, my experience includes: a pet needing me to stay the night, medication is needed, being patient to take the time with timid pets to allow them to trust me. I follow their normal eating, exercise and bathroom habits as well as providing a caring and safe environment anywhere my services are needed.
About: I’ve been taking care of my 15 year old dog since she was 8 weeks old! She now needs a lot more potty breaks than before, requires medication occasionally and waits for me to give her massages after waking up because her arthritis is worse in the morning! As you can see she needs extra catering to since she has gotten older. She is spoiled and cuddly and I love every second of it! I’m a social worker who does “home visits” for children during the day. My job is community based therefore it gives me more flexibility with my daily schedule. I think mental health is important therefore I believe in daily walks for myself! About: I am honest, dependable, and reliable. I have always grown up with animals. My parents gifted me my first pet when I was 5 months old. Since then, I have never been without. I have grown up with dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and even spiders. Your fur baby will be in the best of the care! During our visits they will be spoiled just as mine are and will enjoy our time together by playing or cuddling. I am available for drop in visits or dog walks in the afternoon. About: I am a trained veterinarian assistance (over 10 years experience) with a background in positive reinforcement training and grooming. I've also done a lot of work with special needs dogs (deaf, blind, amputees, behavioral issues, megaesophagous, Degenerative Myelopathy, diabetes, ect.) as well as being a certified therapy dog handler and trainer with Black Paw Canine. I worked for 10 years as a full time veterinary assistant at non-profit, full service vet clinics in Columbus and at various dog boarding and training facilities. I work part time as a Firefighter/Paramedic, so I am looking to fill my spare time doing something else I love! I wish to tailor the experience for each pet I meet. I can play, run, cuddle, groom, administer meds, train, you name it! It all depends on what your pet enjoys and what will be most beneficial to them! “Liz watched my pup Kiwi for 10 days at her home while I was on a trip. This was the longest trip I’ve taken without Kiwi, and she can have a bit of separation anxiety. I also had to switch her to another diet due to food allergies l the day before I left. However, Liz had no problems managing these issues and accommodating Kiwi’s needs. Her dog, Lola, was also friendly and social, so there were no issues there. Liz updated me and sent photos daily, which was very comforting, I would definitely use her as a sitter again, and would recommend her to others as well. 😊”
