Your dog is part of your family
My dog of 13 years recently passed away, and I would love the opportunity to give your dog the same love and care that I gave mine. Your dog will be treated like part of my family and will receive lots of love, attention, snuggles, playtime, and walks. I understand how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so my goal is to make them feel comfortable, happy, and at home while you’re away. I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of attention throughout the day and will happily keep you updated with pictures and messages so you can relax knowing your furry family member is being well cared for. I would love to spoil your dog and give them a safe, loving home away from home!

Schedule
I am a recently retired teacher, so I will be new at staying at home. I love to take a morning and afternoon walk around our neighborhood. My adult kids still live at home and my husband is also retired. So someone will probably always be coming and going.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a dog crate from our dog that we can use but our dog lasted only a few weeks in her crate as she slept with us her entire life. While we don’t have a fenced in yard, we always kept our dog on a leash so she never ran away. Alum Creek Dog Park is right around the corner if you’d like me to take your dog there. We would also walk at Alum Creek trails to change up the scenery and then come home and clean up.
A typical day
I love taking walks and getting outside, if that is what your dog likes. I am kind of a homebody since retiring but can do as much with your dog as possible.
