I began attending school to become a Vet Tech, but with the welcome of my kids, a job where I’m able to work from home and still surround myself with animals, made the most sense. I was incredibly fortunate to begin dog sitting and am still very fortunate to continue doing so. We are conveniently located near the city in Clintonville, only about 20 minutes away from all surrounding Columbus areas. Our yard is completely free of chemicals and any plants that may be harmful to an animal if ingested. Including those pesky mushrooms that want to keep popping up in the spring and summer! The yard offers plenty of shade and room to run and play, my kids also help with the running and playing! My mom has a long running history with bully breed rescue (30+ years) that my boys have grown up around. I myself, have grown up in a home that was a rescue for bully breeds, often living with double and triple the number of dogs than humans. I have a deep love for animals and hope to provide you and your pup a safe, comfortable and loving sitting experience. We allow any dog to be up on our furniture and welcome snuggles. However, if the owner does not allow the dog on the furniture at home, we will honor that rule in our home as well, along with any other particular rules! Any items you wish to bring for your pup to feel more at home is encouraged and welcomed - no real bones or rawhides. Of course, any dog that we may watch will be informed of any other dog they may be around. We take UTD (up to date) on shots seriously, as your dog may be in contact with other dogs. All dogs must also be on flea medication regularly. I have 10+ years of experience taking care of puppies as well as knowing how to properly introduce and interact with dogs. Through our families bully breed rescue and volunteer work with local animal shelters, I was able to acquire and perfect these skills. So rest assured, your pup friend is in good hands and will be safe and taken care of while you are away. We offer frequent daily updates, as well as photos of your pup while they are visiting our home. We love to go on daily walks around the block or to local parks around our house. *** We will never take your dog to a dog park. *** Pets of our own?: We just adopted a 5 month old female Teddy Bear puppy. Bear is very mild mannered and sweet. No cats (as I know that can be an issue with some dogs). We would love to meet you and your pup friend and welcome all dogs into our family, pending that they are comfortable with children and interact well with them! While we love all dogs, I need to put my children's safety first, not only for them but for the dog as well. We hope to hear from you! :)
